Please note that my review is specifically for Dr. Chalavarya…read more I arrived early for a 9am appointment, and was left in an examination room alone from 9:15 to 10:10. Since I had sat in the exam room for close to an hour with no update from the staff, I went out to ask what was the hold up. I was told that the doctor hadn't even arrived at the office as yet. I left. Dr. Chalavarya may or may not be a good cardiologist, but his and his staff's rude disregard for their patient's time doesn't give me a good feeling about his ability to have the kind of doctor/patient relationship I desire. It implies arrogance, and in my experience arrogant doctors rarely really listen to their patients. I will note that aside from leaving me alone with no update on the doctor's delay, his staff was very pleasant and efficient.

Particularly their Hudson office. Their office staff is the worst I have ever seen in my entire 65 year life. They have messed up every single appointment I've had for the past two years. I was trying to have a watchmen procedure and had a transesophageal echocardiogram done in the beginning of April 2022. They gave me a follow up appointment to get the results of my test the end of April 2023. 13 months! And during that time, my Electrophysiologist that I was seeing there, Dr. Yamamura, left the practice and moved over to Advent health in Tampa. No one bothered to let me know that. Because I couldn't get an appointment for 13 months from the time I had my TEE procedure I scheduled a follow up with Dr. Jimenez at their practice, and, I was recently scheduled for the watchman procedure. I told them I did not want the watchmen procedure until after I had seen my cardiologist, Dr. Kuhnhardt because I had been having constant palpitations and chest pain and I want to make sure I'm fit for the procedure. I later called and canceled the procedure because I did not want to have it done at Bayonet Point hospital which is probably the worst hospital in the United States. I explained to the office staff that I did not want any procedure that had to be done at Bayonet Point, and I was willing to have the procedure done if it could be done at another hospital. So they promptly canceled my appointment with Dr. Kuhnhardt my cardiologist without notifying me. My appointment was scheduled today with my cardiologist Dr. Kuhnhardt and when I called to verify the location they told me I had no appointment because they canceled it at my request. I never requested it!! I've been waiting six months to see him. AMY was the idiot who canceled my cardiologist appointment without my knowledge or request. This office has been nothing but a series of one mistake after the next after the next for the past two years. God for bid anybody who is putting their heart health in the hands of such incompetent idiots.

He takes the time to answer my questions and explain procedures and treatments. His staff is always very friendly and the office visits never feel rushed. I'm extremely pleased with his service and I would highly recommend him.

Went to Dr. Sivasankaren to get a second opinion . The first cardiologist I visited had no bedside…read moremanner. He didn't explain anything---just alarmed me! Dr. Siva was friendly and pleasant from the start. He reviewed all of the testing I had done, explained things to me, and patiently listened and answered all of my questions. He is very knowledgeable and has a calm and reassuring demeanor. Turns out I do not have the condition I was led to believe. So relieved! Needless to say, I will now be going to Dr. Siva!
