I originally went to Dr. Moradi for a 2nd opinion a year ago on an implant and crown. He and his staff were great! I am always afraid of going to the dentist but he made me feel calm. Flash forward to yesterday (as I had to save up the money). I had my appointment for the implant. I was literally there for 45 minutes! From check in to walking out. I didn't even have time to be scared. Quick and essentially painless. The longest parts were taking the x-rays in between. They even had headphones I could wear and connect to my own music. His assistant was great and she helped with my anxiety. I'm sure they get it all the time and I didn't feel for one second that she didn't care. Huge points. Dr. Moradi and his staff are awesome and if you need dental work of any kind and he does it make an appointment today! I had a little discomfort the night of my implant but today have zero pain!

Middle filling breaking off.

She takes the time to make you feel comfortable, explains everything clearly, and makes you feel like you're in the best possible hands. I loved her care so much that I followed her from San Francisco to Willow Glen Dental, and I would honestly fly to LA if that's where she moved next! That's how much I trust her and value the care she provides. I recommend her to absolutely everyone I know because finding a dentist this wonderful is truly rare. If you're looking for a dentist who is not only exceptional at what she does but also genuinely cares about her patients, Dr. Leslie Tam is the one. Willow Glen Dental is lucky to have her, and I can't recommend her highly enough. 1000% recommend!

If you're someone who has dental anxiety, or you've put off going to the dentist for years because…read moreyou're scared, embarrassed, or worried about being judged, this review is for you. I had excellent dental care growing up until I was about 14, but I also had a traumatic experience as a child when I flipped over my bike, knocked several teeth out, and had to be strapped into a chair while a dentist worked on them. That experience stayed with me. After my parents divorced, going to the dentist stopped being a priority, and despite brushing my teeth every day, I avoided dental visits for years. Eventually, I started having tooth pain and assumed I had one bad tooth. It turned out I needed two root canals and multiple fillings. To say I was terrified would be an understatement. One of the biggest fears about returning to the dentist after a long time is the feeling that you'll be judged. Dr. French completely erased that fear. She has been nothing but kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring from day one. She's the type of person who instantly makes you feel comfortable, and honestly, she's just an incredibly cool person. The hygienists and the rest of the staff are just as wonderful. Every single person in the office is warm, welcoming, and makes you feel like they genuinely care about you. The office itself is beautiful and has such a calming atmosphere. Then there's the fear of pain. I can honestly say I experienced virtually none. Dr. French referred me to Dr. Baines at San Jose Endodontics for my root canals, and I couldn't have asked for a better referral. Both root canals were completely painless. They prescribed ibuprofen afterward, and I never even needed it. Back at Willow Glen Dental, I was also genuinely impressed by how much they've invested in technology. It's not just a beautiful office--it feels like they've made a real commitment to giving patients the best experience possible. After my root canals, they digitally scanned my teeth, designed my crowns, and milled them right there in the office. I took about an hour to an hour-and-a-half break, came back, and had both permanent crowns placed that same day. No temporary crowns. No waiting weeks. As someone who hadn't been to the dentist in years, I had no idea dentistry had come this far, and it made the entire process incredibly convenient. The same was true for my fillings and every other procedure I've had. Throughout every appointment, the team made sure I was comfortable, answered every question, and never rushed me. Yesterday I finished the restorative portion of my treatment plan after about a year and a half of care. Dr. French joked, "Last round!" and then laughed that I was probably tired of seeing them. I surprised myself with my response: "Honestly... I used to have really bad dental anxiety, and now I don't." And I truly meant it. That's one of the greatest gifts this office has given me. They didn't just fix my teeth--they completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist. I never thought I'd be someone who could walk into a dental appointment feeling relaxed, but that's exactly how I feel now. I've already recommended Willow Glen Dental and Dr. French to several friends, and I'll continue recommending them to anyone who asks. (Just don't book Dr. French too solid--I still need my appointments! ) As long as I live in the Bay Area, this is where I'll be coming for my dental care. Dr. French is nothing short of amazing. I don't know what kind of magic she works, but she's incredible. Thank you, Dr. French, Dr. Baines, and the entire Willow Glen Dental team for giving me back not only my smile, but my confidence and peace of mind. 10/10. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

My hygienist, Christina, was wonderful during my recent cleaning! She was thorough, explained everything clearly, and shared thoughtful, encouraging oral care tips when I asked. In March, I made an appointment for May 28th as a first time client. Shortly after scheduling, I received a text asking if I'd be interested in an opening sooner to which I replied yes. I provided my availability and stated I was flexible and could come most afternoons. I received a reply shortly after asking if I'd like to come the next day for a morning appt. Um no. I had already clearly stated I could do AFTERNOONS. Two weeks later I get a call and then a text asking if I'd like to be added to the "ASAP list". I thought I already was?! I was contacted AGAIN a few days later asking about my availability. How many times do I have to spell out I can come in the afternoons?! By this point, they're too much and I ask that they take me off the list. It's too much communication. May 27th comes along and I realize I've received no communication about my appointment on the 28th. I text them to find out they canceled my appointment. I NEVER told them to cancel my appointment. I simply didn't want to be constantly bothered about their "ASAP list". It's really unacceptable that they canceled an appointment I waited almost 3 months for. I was really hoping to have a good dentist 5 minutes from my house but no such luck. I was not interested in rescheduling as I completely lost trust in this office.

The Unquestionable Tooth…read more I'd been searching for a new dentist for a few years before being referred here by my gf, Carissa, last year. I normally prefer a smaller mom-&-pop type office instead of a dental mill, but this place kinda falls smack dab in the middle of both. The Good: *Dr Cho (the only dentist I've dealt with) is terrific; personable, affable, and tells you exactly what's going on and why. *The entire staff from receptionists to the nurses are all very friendly and can all take a joke. *They accept most insurances, as Carissa and I both have different types of insurance (Delta & Tricare). *They seem to be a one-stop shop for all dental procedures, according to their website. *They figure out your co-pay, and you pay at the end of your visit; no stupid bills in the mail to deal with. *They're very prompt, respect your time, and get you in and out very quickly. *Text reminders, and they will also text you if they have questions or issues that arise, which I prefer. Phone calls are giant PiTa, especially if you end up paying phone tag. The Meh: *They are *not* a Delta Premiere Dentist, so if you have Delta Dental PPO insurance, then expect to have a co-pay. *Not open on weekends *Maybe I misunderstood, but when I was trying to make an apt recently, I could've sworn the receptionist said they're not open on Fridays? However, their website, Yelp and Google, all show them to be open from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., so not I'm not exactly sure what that's about. *If you need a 2nd or 3rd visit, then they'll have to be a few weeks apart as apts are hard to come by. The Ugly: *Parking can be a bit of a nightmare at times, as their shared lot is almost always packed and lacks any shade. Street parking, however, does have some shade but can also be hard to come by. So, make sure you give yourself a few minutes before your appointment to find parking. TLDR: Great dental office that makes one of life's annoyances tolerable.

1 star for general incompetence at every turn…read more I was quoted 300 for a dental appliance, and then charged 1,000. After much to do, they eventually honored the original quote. I showed up to receive the appliance, and the assistant appeared with a needle to anesthetize me to fill multiple cavities. I have no cavities, and I had to refuse the shot multiple times before they realized their error. I left the practice and recently emailed to obtain records. After supplying my full name and date of birth, they replied with, "What is your Last name and Date of birth?". It took 11 emails to discover that the dentist who saw me was no longer at the practice, they do not retain records, and to contact him. They sent a long winded excuse, part of which reads: "His office has a new contact number and email address that we do not have on file. We recommend that you search for Dr. Ortega's current practice and contact his office directly to obtain the most up-to-date email address." I googled it, and his new office is...in the same building as White Oaks Dental. It's hilarious that they go out of their way to be unhelpful. If you are looking for a way to test your patience and add stress to your life, dealing with White Oaks Dental may be for you!
