I wish I could leave -* complete and total scam artists. The owner Jordan promised me in the…read morebeginning that if there was any issues he would refund my money. Well first off the mechanic assigned put me off with a new excuse every day for 2 weeks, then said he was going to take it to his house in Pueblo 2.5hrs away. He spent an hour trying to figure out how to put it on his car dolly, then off he went. Then called later that evening asking for an additional $450. The following day I am on my way to work and happen to look over and see my car ABANDONED AT THE TRUCK STOP! DOORS UNLOCKED WITH KEYS IN THE IGNITION! (BMW btw) asked the lot attendant and they said it was there all night and they were getting ready to have it towed. So I call in to work, go rent a car trailer, unload my car off his tow dolly and notice he put a big dent in the door loading it. So I take it back home and get a call that evening saying that I "stole" my car from the mechanic and I owe him a new dolly because it was damaged. WTF? Seriously? No damage done whatsoever. I didn't even move it. Then the owner Jordan sides with the mechanic and will not refund my money. Do not do business with this heard of theives and scammers. I paid to have it fixed not taken down the street and abandoned in a truck stop parking lot!

I had a flat tire that the bead was broke on so I couldn't fill it. They did it for free since it was after hours :) They have always worked with me on pricing and they never sell you parts you don't need. They even give me a ride back and forth which is very personal service most places won't offer.

Ordinarily this is probably a decent shop to go to. I never thought this would be a bad thing but…read morethey are a little too loyal to their old customers. I was looking at a car from a guy who lived down the street, took it here to have them do an all over check on it, and they said minor things like it needs a new radiator cap. I was being young and stupid. I bought the car and all of these men lied (including the owner of the car who claimed to be a mechanic) and fooled a 20 yr old girl. This car broke down with serious issues not even 3 months later. I was told by a family friend and mechanic that this car was "rigged" to work temporarily. The mechanics at Starr should have noticed this since it pertained to the radiator hence it needing a new cap. It's a Cadillac with head gasket issues. When I found out I'd have to pay 2000 to fix it I almost flipped out. I tried any cheap fix, bottle of concoction from autozone (this must be what the guy did because it lasted for around the same time before it would overheat again) which I found out that certain ones you put in you will need to replace the radiator cap, funny how I was told I would need to do that.... Long story short, 1 yr and 3 months later I have the car fixed, I'm out 5500 for a car worth 3000 all because these men lied to me. 1. Don't EVER buy a car from the "mechanic" that lives down the street from this shop. 2. If you do buy a car from him, don't bring it to this shop to have them look at it. Lesson learned the hard way.

I have NOT bought a Car since 2006 and was never the type to Keeping Up with the Jones. Anyways I notice when going to work early morning my Chevy Trailblazer (Who I named Old Faithful) was reving really hard. As I continued to drive it out to where I had to go the Check Engine light went on. I had this problem before which is an Engine Misfire. On one of the Sparkplugs and Cylinders. I had contact my relative and she sent me to Midas In Eden Prairie, MN. Boy DID I MAKE A BIG MISTAKE. Midas told me I had to replace a whole cylinder head!! IT was gonna cost me $6k!! That is like a good used car! On top of that they we're inspecting other parts of the car that was not necessary! Unfortunately, I had to pay $122 for the diagnostic but I by change had contacted on Craig's List another Mechanic who referred me to Erik. I had told Erick and he himself was shocked at my story! He new Midas was BS-ing and I went to him. My engine was still fine! I just needed new spark plugs which he believed Midas technicians damage by pulling it out the improper way and new great quality coils which I should have don vs buying from Ebay. All in All I only spent $400 and my engine was running great. Please come over here! He won't rip you off with Lies about the car! 5 stars in my book especially coming from Chicago, IL.
