Well, I'm definitely proud to be the first to review! My doctor is Lynnea Carstens and seriously,…read moreyou gotta love her! I also want to mention that the staff is always so nice to me (so far) and they're of help when I need it.. Especially when I needed a doctors note from another day that I went in for a check up and they were able to provide that. I love how waiting area is always clean and actually very quiet. When I first went there, that isn't what I expected at all.. Only because the media loves to perceive a gynecologists office as a hell hole with a bunch of annoying pregnant women but nope not that the case at all. I also love that I'm never waiting a long time to be seen unlike the regular doctors office where I'm waiting 20 minutes because the doctor is taking his/her sweet time. I hope I'm living in the area even after marriage so Lynnea can be my doctor through pregnancy. I've become so comfortable with her (she just makes it so easy) and it'll take a while for me to become comfortable with another doctor if I ever move. If you're in the Suffern area and seeking an awesome OBGYN, see Carstens! On Sunday, I discovered a lump, Monday she was able to see me AND scheduled an appointment with a breast specialist right then and there and that breast specialist is very booked. She prioritizes health, that is so important!

Let me first say that dr polio is wonderful, kind, soft spoken and caring…read more That being said, the office is run terribly and the new management has not changed that. The office staff is nasty and rude and it is impossible to make an appointment. Each time I am tempted to go elsewhere. When they send you an appointment card and you call, the appointments are already booked and the books are closed. When you call back on the supposed date , they say call again in another month. This goes on and on...The actual date may be 6 months after the initial attempt. Oftentimes, they ask you to leave a recorded message and no one calls back. This is no way to provide health care. If you are a new patient please go elsewhere.

Do not go to Dr.Maselli!!! His unprofessionalism and bedside…read moremanner is unlike anything I have ever seen in a medical professional. 9 Years ago I had my first Pap smear, I came to dr masellis office with my mother. I was very nervous considering it was my first time at the gynecologist. As Dr Maselli proceeded to do the Pap smear, he says "there's nothing to be scared of here, your boyfriends thing is bigger than this!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!? and this was said to a 16 year old girl and in front of my mother. Totally inappropriate! Early February of this year, I realized I had not gotten my period in over a month. My breasts grew tremendously. I took two at home tests. One was very vague and I couldn't tell. The second one I took was negative. A week later I began bleeding heavily, blood clots and serious abdominal pain. I made an appointment that day with Dr Maselli and told him about the excessive bleeding that I have to wear a diaper. When I got to the exam room, the medical assistant told me to take everything off, put on a smock and have a seat. I had to remind her I was bleeding a lot and she rolled her eyes at me and was like "oh I guess I'll get you a towel for you to sit on". After the Pap smear and exam, Dr Maselli requested a urine sample and then had me sit in the waiting room. The same medical assistant went to check my urine in the bathroom (which is located right beside the waiting area. She then screams "DR MASELLI! I DONT KNOW IF THIS SAYS PREGNANT OR NOT!" Are you actually for real now? Granted I was the only patient in the waiting room, but the three receptionists were still there and two other medical assistants were socializing with the receptionists. I was mortified. Dr Maselli strolls over and says really loud "OH BOY!" He then signals me to follow him into his office and goes "So are you gonna keep it or kill it?" Really that's what you're going to ask me? I just find out in the worst way possible that I'm pregnant and that's what you ask me. F you! He then sends me to get a blood test done that day which confirms I am pregnant. He then calls me the next day and sends me to have more blood work done. At this point the bleeding is profuse and I'm in bed for about a week and a half wearing diapers. I'm trying to get a hold of Dr Maselli and no one is getting back to me whether I'm miscarrying or what. A week later, I found out from my father in law who is a doctor in the hospital nearby the results of my blood work which confirm a miscarriage. Dr Maselli didn't have the decency to call me back. Shame on him. Luckily I found a fabulous OBGYN Dr Emerson, and I am five months pregnant!
