Everything can improve. This is not a hotel it's a motel that is run down dirty and not well maintained. Room had a musty smell and dirty. Rugs in hallways are dirty and tile floors had broken tiles. This place not only needs a cleaning and upgrade it also needs an exterminator. This place should be torn down. I was excited to check out the very next morning than I was checking in. I was so in disbelief with the place that I almost slept in my car. Bed was nasty sheets were yellow and rugs in room were dirty. Even the filter in the air conditioner was not cleaned you can see the dust in the vents. I advise to stay away far away from this place. For the price it wasn't bad the toilet was broken and kept running so flushing with it was an issue I will admit the hallways look dingy but I will say that the bedrooms were pleasantly surprising clean nice tight they had a fridge they had a microwave and a coffee machine so for a budget it's worth it but if you'd like something fancier there are other places to stay. read more

This is one of the dirtiest hotels by Wyndham I have ever stayed in. There is dirt and grime built up in the bathroom floor. The kind of stuff we sweep and mop our home floors daily to avoid. The bathroom door handle is completely broken off, and the door off it's tracks. The front door has to be battered to open from the outside, and yanked with a wish and a prayer from the inside. The outside looks very nice, but I guess we shouldn't have judged this book by its cover. I'm pretty sure the shower is not 100% assembled. Something is definitely missing. However, all of my basic needs were meant for the 2 nights I had to slum it. If you just need somewhere quick and cheap to stay this should do it. My husband flew from NC to this place he had to visit family in Yonkers where he is originally from. I verified with check- in desk that my husband is a disabled veteran and would be catching a late flight arriving at 2:00 am the check in clerk told me that would be fine he was to stay Friday and Saturday check out early Sunday. My husband arrives 2:00am as discussed and Mehal Patel refused him to check in telling my husband he needs to pay for another night three full nights ????!!!! We already were told and confirmed that 2:00am check in was fine. I explained several times that this was cleared my husband had all his credentials and military ID and Mehal Patel refused to cancel the reservations he said it's a new system and he could not print out on any paper or even email the cancellation. Meanwhile my husband is tired I'm here in North Carolina worried about him he is a diabetic needing sleep and this Mehal Patel is trying to suck money out of him! This place is rated 1 star for a reason! It's 2:30 am right now and my husband is driving across town so he can stay his moms house tired and exhausted! It's disgusting how this veteran was treated! Not only do they lie when you make a reservation you get there and then they charge you full price and then say the person who took the reservation was not right. I honestly don't know how this place is through Wyndham and recommended by AAA. The carpet everywhere is dirty and the walls are all nasty. The breakfast looked old and stale. We didn't get any housekeeping until our 3rd day and they didn't even put a new roll of toilet paper so we had to ask the front desk when we were on our way out because the phone in the room did not work. It's non smoking yet the room would smell like smoke every time we got back. We found a little girls sock one of the days we got back to our room and noticed that little toys my kids had in the room would be in other places when we got back. There was arguing and yelling we would hear at night and then Maintainence had to be done in the room next door which we were told would start until 8 but they started at 5:30AM one of those days. I went to buy a 2 cans of lysol to disinfect the rooms since they were not only unclean but smelled so terrible like a combination of smoke, marijuana and dirty gym clothes. Even after 2 large cans of lysol the smell did not go away and unfortunately did not make me feel any better. I slept in a hooded sweatshirt, socks and long pants because I was afraid of what might crawl out of the walls at night. This was something straight out of a horror movie. The carpets were stained, the room had mis matched 1980's furniture with stains on them along with the carpets that were stained and had burn holes in them. The room was so dusty but to make matters even better the shower in the room directly above mine was leaking water into my shower. The gross factor was real! I witnessed several people in the lobby complaining to the front desk clerk but we were all stuck. I hate to sound redundant but I wouldn't even bring my suitcases in my house because I was in fear I might bring home bedbugs or worse. Was given a room and when I tried to go to bed, the sheet smell of pee was super strong, they never changed the linens before giving me the room, the maid said she didn't work the day before so I guess the person who worked didn't care or it's a habit they have to just take a look in the room and if sheets from previous client still looks good they would leave them on. In today's living with Covid i was very surprised at how this hotel neglected the room i was staying in. The shower head didn't have a holder. I had to literally hold the showerhead as i was taking a shower. There was burnt makers all over the rug in my room. No iron to iron my clothes. The bathroom door handle was missing. The toilet seat was broken and the toilet paper was almost out. It was the worst stay I've ever been in! When i brought it to the front desk attention he quickly dismissed me and continued on with his conversation with it appear to be his wife sitting next to him behind the desk. Even looking at it from down below (the street) it looks sketchy but when you ride up the hill, it looks even more sketchy. However the front desk area isn't that bad. We got on the elevator to go to our floor. As soon as we got off the elevator we knew we were not staying here. There was a strong smell of marijuana. We still proceeded to check out the room. Not only was it dirty..... it had bleach stains which let us know someone probably died in that room and they cleaned up the blood with bleach. The bathroom was dirty. We left the room and told the front desk guy. He had the manager show us two other rooms. After seeing the second room which wasn't any better and smelled like urine, we left. The front desk person was really nice. He did return our money to us which I appreciated. I am not sure how this place is still open. I checked into the Ramada, 125 Tuckahoe Rd, Yonkers, NY on Thursday afternoon, October 17th and checked out Saturday, October 19th. This hotel was recommended by the Reservation Center due to "allegedly" the other hotels in the area being sold out. The individual said the hotel is three stars. This is so far from the truth. It is absolutely a "DUMP." The staff at the front desk is very inattentive and they do not follow up or remedy the issue when you lodge a complaint as we did about the insurmountable amount of dust on the ledge in the room. My roommate and I both have allergies and that is what made us observe the dust because we started sneezing. We first addressed the dust issue with a female individual of the housing staff who was on our floor. She became boisterous and explicitly stated that she would not clean it and it was not her assigned room. She even came in the room. She said she was tired of cleaning up after other staff. I commented that you all work for the same company. We lodged a complaint at the front desk @ about 2:15 p.m. Thursday about the dust and the incident that had just transpired. We departed the hotel then and upon our return @ about 8 p.m., the dust had not been removed. Upon our check out on Saturday @ 11 a.m., the dust had not been removed. We observed a considerable amount mold under the soap dish in the tub. The carpet in the hallways was very old and dirty with particles of trash on it. The hall had a musty odor. Our rug in our room (320) had a huge dirty spot that looked like oil. This spot was the size of a balloon blown up. The windows were filthy in the room. Outside of the window was a walkway was not usable to guests but it had litter strewn about with chipped paint all over. The hotel is very antiquated. It has not been updated in probably twenty years. It looks grimy. Across from our room location is a narrow room, which the staff stored a white trash bag so this was our view every time we opened our room door. I have a picture of this and the horrible condition of the carpet in the room. It is very obvious that the housecleaning staff does not vacuum the hallways on a daily or regular basis. On Friday, the housecleaning staff did not replenish our toiletries after we utilized the soap, lotion, etc. I believe the hotel is utilized to house individuals who do not have appropriate housing and the State of New York places them in this hotel and reimburses the hotel. I do not see how the Ramada Inn franchise allows this kind of representation of their name sake. The hotel needs to be shut down and fumigated and renovated/gutted. DO NOT STAY @ THIS HOTEL. I wish I can give this place zero stars!!! Me and my boyfriend stayed there august 31 to September 1st for one night. I left my AirPods there (I tracked them and it gave me the Ramada inn location). I called after seeing that my airpods are there to confirm; and then they confirmed my AirPods where there. I mentioned to them that I will pick them up as soon as I can (being that we don't live in Yonkers). This morning; September 7th, I happened to go to find my airpods app; and my airpods where tracked at a different location (approximately 8 mins away from the Ramada). I called the ramada inn this morning to see why my AirPods would be at a different location; and the Indian man had the nastiest/unprofessional attitude. This place gave away my property or someone who works there stole my AirPods (but they dumb ass forgot that their traceable). My AirPods went from tuckahoe rd where the Ramada inn is to 119 Dehaven Dr Apt 36, Yonkers, NY 10703. The Ramada inn is a shit hole besides them stealing traceable AirPods! I should've known not to stay at a place with a 1/2 star rating but I would never ever stay here again even if I was homeless; I would rather sleep on the streets. There were cigarette burns on the sheets, the towels were dirty, the telephone was broken, and our room smelled like cigarette smoke and bleach. It was so bad that we had to ask for another room. If it wasn't so late at the time we would have gone to a different hotel. The furniture and bedsheets in the rooms were outdated, the hallways are extremely narrow and the elevator is very small. They left 1 hanger in the closet and the towels looked as if they were used. When we requested for cleaner towels they caught any attitude. I wake up and wow! water is everywhere. I immediately call the front desk on my cell phone, because the phone in the room doesn't work at all. Someone came immediately and he cleans the water. He says I need a new room because the water is everywhere and it needs to get cleaned and dried out or it will mold. I get a new room in no time. I have to go back and forth between my old room and the new one to move my stuff out/in. While I'm doing this, housekeeping women, assuming that I am not Hispanic or at the very least speak Spanish are saying the most disrespectful things in Spanish. God knows they're not angry because they clean all day and the rooms are spotless, because I'm sure you've all seen the reviews on room conditions. But this was my last straw. I've stayed at this place for years. Sometimes for a month at a time, but never again. After this stay I will no longer come back here.
