Lobby , only decent looking area it seems
    Ginette P.

We needed a last minute room for the night since we were visiting friends out here , price wise & location made the most sense so we booked it but Lord where do I begin? We had Room#102 , broken smoke detectors , barely workable phones with a bunch of buttons missing? I was surprised it even worked! Only know this because I had to call the reception desk at around 3am because there was music BLASTING seriously ? it's unreal how inconsiderate people can be. Since I did call reception about this we did notice that the music was lowered to more appropriate level. Room itself was ok in the sense that it served it's purpose.. see my pics, dirty looking furniture, somewhat clean room although if you open the drawers by the phone there was burnt papers inside so you know people are smoking here, room smelled like smoke. Wyndham should be ashamed to have it's name on such a disgusting property , I have stayed at Wyndham's before & I have never seem such disregard for cleanliness. Don't let the pics from the business fool you, place looks NOTHING like that!! No open pool, room was supposed to come with breakfast if you can call it that ? served till 10am there was cereal , coffee & yogurt. We asked for a late check out & they said additional $10 we paid it but that was unnecessary even 5 star hotels give u an additional hour at no cost!! Room was most certainly not worth the price tag it was $120 after taxes & fee's final $137 & change not counting the late check out! Needless to say you don't even get what u pay for. if you are looking to book do yourself a favor & pay the extra cash for a better place YOU have been warned, lesson learned here!

    Broken bathroom door.

This is one of the dirtiest hotels by Wyndham I have ever stayed in. There is dirt and grime built up in the bathroom floor. The kind of stuff we sweep and mop our home floors daily to avoid. The bathroom door handle is completely broken off, and the door off it's tracks. The front door has to be battered to open from the outside, and yanked with a wish and a prayer from the inside. The outside looks very nice, but I guess we shouldn't have judged this book by its cover. I'm pretty sure the shower is not 100% assembled. Something is definitely missing. However, all of my basic needs were meant for the 2 nights I had to slum it. If you just need somewhere quick and cheap to stay this should do it. If you're a germaphobe like me spend the extra cash and go somewhere else. Or like me you'll find yourself up for two nights with your skin crawling!

Pros: Staff was not mean Affordable Convenient location Cons: Elevator was rickety and very unsafe-feeling (avoided it after first ride, inspection said last January) Did not have fitness center (as advertised) Hallways smelled like marijuana Hallway was very narrow (hard to get by my neighbor with his bags outside) Walls were very thin (heard my neighbor cough quietly) Nightclub right downstairs continued to play very loud music until after 11pm Room was dirty (men's underwear left on my safe, shower had used soap in it, mold or rust above the shower) Safe had been locked open so it was unusable Room was very cold and heater didn't work Room was drafty because there must have been a sliding door there previously to the balcony but it was poorly covered with a thin wall. Never stay here. It's worth the extra money to stay somewhere else. I've stayed at motel 6s better than this place.

    Missing smoke detector

Overall: Absolute Shit Show. Avoid this place if you can by all means. Most of the employees will go out of their way to make your stay there a nightmare. Pros: - Only place that wasn't sold out from flooding (highly likely due to the fact that they have a single star rating) Cons: - Phone service: Horrible. Could not get my name correct or my email correct. When I checked in, they STILL had my name incorrect. - Front desk service: Horrible and extremely rude. My SO has a emotional support animal with paperwork. Man at the front desk force my SO to print out the paperwork and would not accept what was on her phone. My SO later saw a woman walk in with a dog and spoke with the woman. The woman said that the dog was NOT a service animal and the man never asked for paperwork. - Room: HORRIBLE. As soon as we opened the door, the smell of cigarette smoke hit us. We walked in and saw that the smoke detector was taken off the wall and later found it in the closet. - Customer Support: HORRIBLE. Went to the front desk and told that about the room. The man said That they can't do anything for use because they're sold out. I ask if they were willing to do a discount. Flat out said no. Didn't ask anyone. He told me either leave or stay and deal with it. He didn't even care the the smoke detector wasn't on the wall. - Breakfast: Pathetic. Bagels, cereal, and frozen pancakes. I hope you like carbs with your carbs.

    Random shoe outside the room

This place absolutely awful, awful, awful. The nasty a** room and hotel is one thing. (see pics), the terrible customer service where everyone blames someone else and no one takes any accountability is another. I will never go to another Ramada. They need to be listed as an hourly rate hotel. FAMILIES STAY AWAY!!!!!

    Dirty furniture

Very bad dirty. Carpet had stains . Shower had stains furniture was dirty Over priced

Stained head board with what looks to be smeared dry boogers
    Brittnay B.

Over priced for the conditions of the rooms. Nothing that the hotel offers was available. Power went out for a few hours and they didn't say anything. It's supposed to be smoke free rooms but reeked of cigarettes. If you can afford to go anywhere else I would. Good if you are just sleeping there but I would highly explore other options.

Rug dirty dirty needs to be removed

The manager don't accommodate you my room is dirty no smoking room but smells like cigarettes the sheets were dirty n cover layer missing pool oily dirty hall way rug horrible needs to remove from floor mold in the fridge horrible short stay . Cheap ain't always good

Peeling paint in the bathroom and missing hair dryer.

This place is run down and dirty looking. The clerk at the front desk was nice but I would be embarrassed to offer these rooms. I wish I checked the reviews before booking. It wasn't that cheap either for what you get. I don't recommend staying here at all.

    Stained carpets in room

This place should literally be inspected by the health department and possibly the FBI and then demolished by a bulldozer! It was absolutely disgusting! I cannot begin to tell you how horrible this place was. I have never in my entire life expected to stay in such a filthy place. I was staying with a large group for a school function. We had several high school aged teens in our group. Most of them were crying when they saw the condition of their rooms. We asked for new rooms but they could not accommodate all of us because they were sold out ! We had no choice but to deal with this situation because our rooms were non-refundable and the team did not have the funds to spare to find a new hotel. I will attach photos to show you what a absolutely disgusting place this was. I went to buy a 2 cans of lysol to disinfect the rooms since they were not only unclean but smelled so terrible like a combination of smoke, marijuana and dirty gym clothes. Even after 2 large cans of lysol the smell did not go away and unfortunately did not make me feel any better. I slept in a hooded sweatshirt, socks and long pants because I was afraid of what might crawl out of the walls at night. This was something straight out of a horror movie. The carpets were stained, the room had mis matched 1980's furniture with stains on them along with the carpets that were stained and had burn holes in them. The room was so dusty but to make matters even better the shower in the room directly above mine was leaking water into my shower. The gross factor was real! I witnessed several people in the lobby complaining to the front desk clerk but we were all stuck. I hate to sound redundant but I wouldn't even bring my suitcases in my house because I was in fear I might bring home bedbugs or worse. I forgot to mention there was very suspicious activity going on the entire time we spent there. I would not recommend this place to anyone!EVER!!

Bed linens smell like pee, they did not change the sheets from previous client
    Jose G.

Was given a room and when I tried to go to bed, the sheet smell of pee was super strong, they never changed the linens before giving me the room, the maid said she didn't work the day before so I guess the person who worked didn't care or it's a habit they have to just take a look in the room and if sheets from previous client still looks good they would leave them on. The swimming pool was full of bees and there's a lot of cats here, for some reason, cats would show up wandering around, they said there was a restaurant but it got shut down, I guess by The Health department, they were fully booked on Saturday so it looks like they make enough money, it would only be fair to keep facilities and accommodations in better shape

A burnt maker on the dresser

In today's living with Covid i was very surprised at how this hotel neglected the room i was staying in. The shower head didn't have a holder. I had to literally hold the showerhead as i was taking a shower. There was burnt makers all over the rug in my room. No iron to iron my clothes. The bathroom door handle was missing. The toilet seat was broken and the toilet paper was almost out. It was the worst stay I've ever been in! When i brought it to the front desk attention he quickly dismissed me and continued on with his conversation with it appear to be his wife sitting next to him behind the desk. I've never gave a bad review but this hotel does not care about their guests. No refund or a discount after this horrendous stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE THEY HAVE BED BUGS!!!! I stayed recently and came down with some serious bites that were from this dirty place. Someone claiming to be a manager said that there was nothing they could do and they didn't really care. I followed up with another email and they claimed to have had the property tested after I complained but had NO PROOF of this. The management is very dismissive and extremely uncaring. Don't waste your time contacting corporate because they just give you lip service and when you press them for a response they tell you that they can't do anything because all properties are independent and they can't anything. STEER CLEAR OF THIS DUMP also of note...I will be reaching out to the Yonkers Police Department in regards to the copious use of drugs on the property...the building is rank of weed at night.

The wall based amenities are not kept up- conditioner was empty, and the high hat light in the bathroom was out, making it difficult to get made up and ready. Was staying on the second floor and had to take an elevator to alternate floors to access a working ice machine ... Rather inconvenient. Although their breakfast buffet had several options, by 7:30 AM emptied items were not replenished. Their little concierge/shop was so grossly overpriced. Yes, these convenience shops always are overpriced, but this was price gouging! Does Hampton/Hilton really need that markup for their bottom line? I also requested a handicapped accessible room, as my BIL was staying with me, and he is mostly wheelchair bound. After check-in, I learned the the handicap rooms are on the 8th floor. So, the reasons for the low rating: (1) the handicap rooms are the furthest from the elevator, literally from one end of the hall to the other; well over 100 feet. (2) sign by elevator that says, "In case of fire, use stairs." This is kind of ridiculous, to expect a wheelchair bound person, to descend 8 floors. Which leads to the question, "Why put handicap rooms on the top most floor?" (3) Our room was very LOUD. Literally, when the HVAC unit came on, it sounded like a jet engine starting. On for 5 minutes or so, then off for 2 minutes. Rinse and repeat all night long (4) In a shower / tub area, the height of the tub was not conducive to a disabled person being able to use it. On a positive side, the bathroom was spacious, with 3 grab bars near the toilet. Note the 4 grab bars in the shower / tub area are useless if you can't get in. Another positive was the continental breakfast. Numerous options for both cold and hot items. 2 poorly designed stars. If you can't put handicap rooms on the ground floor, near an exit, you should not sell rooms as handicap.

I had lost my purse, which had my house keys and credit card in it, so all I had with me was my phone. I asked the hotel if I could pay with Apple Pay since I didn't have my card, and I just needed a safe place to stay until morning. The receptionist told me they only accept cash or card. I then asked if I could book through Booking.com and pay online, would they let me check in. The receptionist said yes. So I made a reservation and paid upfront through Booking.com. But when I showed him the confirmation, he suddenly told me I couldn't check in until 2 p.m. He hadn't said that earlier. Even though I had already paid, he then told me I had to wait *outside* the hotel. It was 5 a.m., I was alone, a woman in a vulnerable situation, and I had gone out of my way just to find a safe place. I was shocked. When I asked for a refund, the hotel refused. I had spent the last bit of money I had, thinking I'd at least have somewhere safe to stay. Being turned away like that--with proof of payment--was heartbreaking. The receptionist should have told me from the start that I wouldn't be allowed to check in until 2 p.m. Asking someone who's already in distress to wait outside in the early hours of the morning, despite having same day reservation, is completely unacceptable. And refusing to give me a refund made everything worse. This whole experience was deeply disappointing and honestly, shameful.
