I asked today for a microwave and was told that policy says I need to pay $10 extra. (It's a $57/night hotel on Priceline.) $10 each time? I've stayed here for $57 per night 7 times. I have a discount with Hampton Inn for $60/night. I choose Ramada to help a small business. Stayed here 7/4-7/5. Pool Closed for "Health Reasons".. Hooters, a Nationwide Chain attached to Ramada was also closed, presumably for "Health Reasons" as well. Upon Check-In was informed that it would have cheaper to show up and ask for Best Rate. Horrible, disgusting place. Don't believe the pictures of rooms on their site. No attention to detail. Lamps missing bulbs, carpets look like they haven't been cleaned in years. Bed was ok, but afraid to touch anything in the room. I had Lysol wipes with me thank heavens. Sketchy neighborhood. Has this place even updated since the 70's? Hotel for homeless right behind it. Virtually no amenities. Told us pool is broken so gave us $10 off room rate. We stayed on a Saturday night and it looked like only two other rooms were booked. Too bad Hampton Inn was booked as we tried them first. Sleep in your car before you stay in this place. Ramada should be ashamed of themselves for having this property. No stars, or minus 10 stars if we could. UPDATE: After complaining to Ramada/Wyndham customer service, including pictures, we received a full credit/refund within a week for our one night stay at this fleabag hotel. It built character. The water does NOT taste good (buy your own before going here but just don't go at all). The air conditioning didn't work. The floor was sticky. The bedding was BAD. Worst place I have ever stayed. It's not safe or clean. Someone tried opening my door at 2am. The toilet clogged, the vending machine ate my money then didn't work, and staff was unfriendly. The building is also shared by a Hooters which of course isn't included in the pictures. read more

There is so much to do near here. This is a great place to stay when you're on a trip. Coming through Flemington. The staff is very friendly and doesn't bother you much. The motel is within waking distance of Taco Bell, CVS, Applebee's, the Home Depot, the MVC road test facility, a movie theater, and a gas station. The only problem was a few dead wasps in the bathroom (well, dead after the night manager gave me a complimentary can of RAID). Both the refrigerator and stove worked well. I don't know about the toilet, but the sink works just fine. Overall, this is a very good motel to stay when you're in Hunterdon County. read more

Wouldn't stay there again. From the road it looks inviting, but this is a very seedy hotel with shady tenants. Our room appeared ok at first, but noticed the bathroom floor was soaking wet. The most disgusting and unprofessional inn I have ever stayed at. Walking into the room, it was obvious that this inn is not kept up at all. We booked a suite, and it was literally two rooms with a dirty and unusable refrigerator and nasty microwave. The counters in the bathroom and all the tables were dirty. The carpet was disgusting and sticky. We wore our socks the whole time. We usually only have housekeeping clean our room every other day, but this room was so disgusting that we decided to let them clean it each day. The first day they didn't come, therefore, we actually had to call every morning to make sure our room was cleaned, each time the office asked us if we previously had put the "do not disturb" sign on the door, which we did not. I found cockroaches, beetles and worms on the floor and of the bathroom after housekeeping left. The people in the office never once apologized or tried to rectify any of the issues presented. Worst hotel experience ever. A total embarrassment to the Wyndham brand. From start to finish a complete failure. We paid extra for a suite that was anything but sweet! Half of the kitchen equipment did not work, they did not include any kitchen utensils, and the kicker was that they only gave us two towels for a room meant for five people. So when we checked in on Friday night soaking wet from the storm that we had just weathered, we had to share towels. The carpeting with stained in multiple places, including areas that were sticky... Totally gross. One of the beds was broken, but usable. Half of the lights in the room were burned out... I guess that was to hide how disgusting everything else looked. The pool was closed the entire hot weekend. You know it's always a bad sign when they don't ask you, upon check out, how was your stay? They knew exactly how it was... I stayed here last night to get my son to DIAMOND NATION....the hotel is old, worn down and in dispair. First room was not even cleaned from the previous occupant. Do we were moved. When I got under the blankets to avoid the flies I was greeted by a pair of someone else's panty hose!!!!! Disgusting!!!! The front desk seemed to care less and turned his nose at me as I explained my situation and how I felt something should be done. This was the worst hotel I have ever spent a night in. First of all, nothing has been updated in roughly 25-30 years. Second, it was absolutely filthy. There were dust bunnies everywhere. There was some sort of foul odor upon entering my room. The ice machine in my part of the hotel was in a dark utility closet that I refused to go into. Straight forward, no frills. Pros Inexpensive. In town for sons baseball tournament and it was less than $90 and when we have these baseball weekends you are in the room to sleep and shower, that's it. The bed was clean, comfy and great pillows (my preference, anyway). Shower had excellent pressure and got very hot. We had a check-in glitch where I accidentally booked the wrong date through hotels.com and they made the switch no problem, the staff I dealt with was great. Cons Dated. When we got to our 2nd floor room the windows were open, but it was hot so I put on the air and went to close the crank windows and they didn't work. Couldn't crank to open or close no matter how I twisted/adjusted the cranks. Ok, took off screen and manually pulled them as much as I could, blasted air all night. Went to watch tv but couldn't find remote so I turned it on directly on the side of tv. Had to go to front desk and ask for a remote because the channel buttons on the tv only changed tv channels, not the cable box. (Embarrassing side note that the channel we turned it on to was Bravo which was airing 50 Shades of Grey at a most inopportune time with my 16 year old in the room, awesome!) Past guests stuff (hair band, a chip, plastic bag) behind bureau. Had to ask for shampoo at desk, there were 2 lotions and a conditioner when we arrived. Just not what I'm used to, very little attention to detail. Leaves a lot to be desired. My expectations were low so it is what it is. Just surprised Ramada Corporate wants their name on this poor display of their product. If you're just looking for a roof, bed and shower on the cheap this is your place. read more

Great price clean hotel if you are playing at diamond nation near everything

Once a year, my wife and I travel to this area - we actually are going to New Hope, PA for dining and theater, but this place has always been a way less expensive option than places closer to New Hope. This motel has been in somewhat of a decline over the years - everything is old and dated - but now they're just plain filthy and unacceptable, and the staff is bland and sometimes rude. We stayed this past weekend for two nights. Right away, we asked to change rooms - the toilet seat was crusty and stained. Ew. The second room was right next to that one - a little better, and oh, this one had a microwave and fridge. The first one didn't. So, they are inconsistent. The place is crappy - no landscaping, barely a lawn, a pool which looked dicey from a distance, and they were having the parking lot sealed with tar - forget that! We almost couldn't get in - there were cones blocking the entrance! We should have known the place was a dump before we even got to the desk - we were the only car in the lot at 1:30 p.m. The tar smell was pervasive, and yes, it smelled of tar in the room, too. (It turns out that there was a pervasive mold smell, as well - when I got home, some of my things smelled of mildew....) Anyway, the second room they gave us had a fridge, but did I mention it was unplugged? I had to plug it in to put my leftovers in it - good thing it worked. Because it had been unplugged, it smelled. Many fridges do, when they're not on, but really???? The carpet was practically sticky - I forgot my slippers at home, so I went barefoot, and the carpet was GROSS. The tub faucet leaked. The outlets were "loose" and the wifi was spotty and not reliable. The beds were passable, but they were so high that I had to climb into it. My feet did not touch the floor while sitting on the bed. DO NOT STAY HERE! When we checked out, the clerk at the desk fumbled with the computer, printed out the receipt and handed it to me with a "here you go." REALLY? When we pulled up I thought we pulled up to a crack den. The place was absolutely disgusting. My room smelled like dirty dish towels. My toilet was broken and I had to go to another family members room to use their bathroom. Their were stains all over the rug. My window did not close which gave me anxiety while sleeping. I asked for and paid for a king sized bed and I got a double bed that was as hard as a rock. I booked this hotel site unseen because it was a Ramada Inn. However, it was a poor excuse of any motel. I said in my check-in that Yelpers like this hotel but I think it was trip advisor. anyway: I needed a place to sleep and shower--period. had to try it for the price ($50ish with AAA). results: my room is large and clean. towels are thick. water's hot. furnishings are dated. coffee maker, flat screen, hair dryer, no micro/fridge. that powdery perfumy smell to the room. the windows open, but the cranks are broken so just push. bed is comfortable, pillows too. nothing sketchy on bedspread or sheets. can hear people in hall. took a while to check in--when the red-eyed desk clerk finally showed up, he had a certain "air" about him. i wasn't impressed. but i can't validate the other reviewers' claims. this room is decent and the price is right. my biggest beef would be that perfume smell -- it's giving me a sore throat. otherwise, the walls are thin but i slept fine and would consider staying here again. read more

There's no way this motel is deserving of any stars except that it is shelter. Everything in the rooms is wretchedly old, tattered, stained and SMELLS like stale smoke. Judging by the yellowing of anything that should be white, it's clear they never upgraded to non smoking. The lamp shades are faded in spots & the furniture looks like it was pulled from someone's attic if they died in 1965. There was a big dead bug in the bathroom. The "cleaning" staff missed a wrapper on the floor. The toilet paper doesn't even have a holder was just sitting on the back of the tank. There's a bottle opener mounted right near the bathroom door knob that is 98% rust. Enjoy your tetanus, future visitors! This hotel shouldn't be $125/week much less per night. No smoking room translates to heavy air freshener room. Windows would not close (handles fell off). The mattress could substitute for a highway steel construction plate and the towels will remove paint from your car they are so coarse. Don't do it folks. Dead bugs all over the floors, stains on the blankets, hair dryer didn't work, toilet didn't flush until I manually fixed it, and rude staff to name just a few reasons. When I called the front desk to mention, at least, the hair dryer not working the manager mumbled something into the phone and hung up and no action was taken to improve our stay. It was one of the cheapest hotels in the area and it's in a good location but don't stay here. Pay a little bit extra to get something reasonable. I know people might say "you get what you pay for" but I didn't pay almost 100 bucks per night to be inconvenienced and disgusted for a weekend. Oh well. You live and you learn, right? read more
