Do NOT stay at this hotel under any circumstances. This was by far the most disgusting, unsafe, and poorly run place I have ever experienced. The room was absolutely filthy -- candy wrappers all over the floor, a large red stain on the carpet, and a chair covered in what looked like personal bodily stains. The light switches were black with built-up grime, and the curtains were literally falling off the wall. It was obvious this room had not been properly cleaned in a long time. We asked TWICE to be moved to a different room and were completely ignored. Staff then told us they "don't have housekeeping," which is completely unacceptable and honestly shocking for any hotel. Safety is a serious issue here. The side doors do NOT lock, meaning anyone can walk in at any time. On top of that, there was a visibly drunk person leaning all over the front desk, and staff did absolutely nothing to remove them or ensure guest safety. It gets worse -- the power went out, and the hotel had ZERO emergency preparedness. No emergency lighting, no flashlights, nothing. We had to use our cell phones just to find our way through the building in the dark. It felt unsafe and honestly a little scary. When we asked for a refund due to these conditions, we were refused and told that if we wanted our money back, we would have to leave -- on a holiday weekend. Completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. This place is dirty, unsafe, and clearly mismanaged. They do not care about their guests at all. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the risk -- book literally anywhere else. read more

I actually left this place in an ambulance. I was covered in red hives looking marks and i was insanely itchy. Alyssa at the front desk was pointing and laughing as if she planned the whole situation out and i also saw dudes in cuffs and a kid run from numerous adults screaming. reeeeeeeeeeeks of weed, pool had a bandaid and some kids kept touching my shoulders. This place absolutely deserves NEGATIVE 5 stars and should be knocked down and replaced with a walmart. On the bright side, some awesome men showed up at my door. read more

Offered me a new room went to that room moved mattress black specks all over the place I chose to leave. I called the manager today left a message and still no response. Let's see if this helps. Security door to the outside wouldn't close, let alone lock. There was a lot of strange activity outside the lobby and in the parking lot. The hallway and room were run down. That said, the bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. read more

The staff here are doing their best! Front office/Desk agents! Cleaners! And the cooks! There are great views! Great pool area! Great bar area! Free coffee! Free computer use! It seems like a family here taking care of this place. I am visiting Geneva College with my daughter. Yeah the room is not 5 stars but I don't plan to be in the room anyways! Go outside and enjoy the scenery! I think they are in the middle of an upgrade. This was a 2 day pit stop for me. I had no problems. If you looking for a plush 5 star bed find another place however the room was clean. A little/lot dated BUT the workers seem to enjoy their job! Plus they had soup! My needs were met!!! Bring your own pillow and plus blanket if you looking for 5 stars however the room work! I work in property management and in my opinion they are doing there BEST here! Two stars, one for the staff, who are swimming against the tide. The building was once a great place to go, and has the potential to be an amazing location again, but the lack of maintenance, and disrepair is appalling. The area is in a financial decline, but with a major east/west Interstate literally in their lap, Pittsburgh International Race Complex and Mines And Meadows Off Road practically next door, the Cranberry Township, Pittsburgh and Youngstown areas within 30 minutes drive, the potential is there. A decent restaurant would be a major plus. They have the facility, but lack the staff. read more

Indoor pool and indoor playground. Less than ten minutes to the Pittsburgh Speedway. Took a star away because the breakfast is a scam. Free continental through the week, $9 buffet on the weekend. Chef didn't even come in in the Saturday we were here. Also there's an adult bookstore nextdoor but what can you do. Very decent hotel for being in the middle of nowhere. read more

After no response from corporate or management, I do not know what else to do but share our experience. During our one night stay, we had a cup full of moldy water and cigarettes rotting under our bed. Immediately as we opened the door to our room, we were hit with the overwhelming smell of cigarettes and mildew. We called the front desk to confirm that it was a non smoking room and they apologized, stated the whole hotel was no smoking permitted, and immediately sent a person with a scent spray that sprayed the room with something like frabreeze. Even she stated it smelled horrible. The carpets were wet, and the room smelled like cigarettes and baby powder for 10 minutes before the cigarette smell became worse. We had a wedding within a couple hours of arrival, so we did not stay long. The next morning as we gathered our things and did our last check around the room, I looked under the bed and barely covered by the bed skirt was the plastic cup with moldy water and disintegrating cigarettes. We immediately took it to the front desk, and the woman attending immediately had to throw the cup away because of how bad it smelled. We were promised that the manager would be in contact due to a lack of ability for the attending worker to compensate us, and we did not get a response until after a corporate case was opened. We got one email, a refund of $20, and no further response. It has been completely unacceptable. read more

Only went there for the hot tub for the day. We got there, checked in went to our room. Room was nice and clean. We went to get in the hot tub and found out it was broke! Instead of the front desk telling us it was broke and offering us a discount, instead was rude and ignorant when asked about it! Kids running up and down the hall at night, no sleep!! Also had 2 birthday parties going on so couldn't even swim. Spent over $130 just to sit in a room. Never again!!! Only thing good about this trip was checking out!! read more

Look to their other reviews and see if this is much different. (I should have looked FIRST.). Soda sprayed all over the bathroom door and floor. Crazy noisy till past midnight, kids running and screaming down the halls... pool area NEVER closed for the night.... Then, the fire alarm goes off at 12:45 am. . I had booked a second night, but went to a Hampton Inn instead. ( which was great ) Here's the letter I was sent after asking for a refund for the 2nd night which I was at the Hampton... Hello, I apologize that you did not enjoy your stay at the Ramada. I wish you had said something to my front desk when you checked in and saw soda on the bathroom door, as they could have moved you to another room. You booked an overlooking room and unfortunately our pool area gets extremely noisy when we have a lot of guests with kids as we did when you were here. The courtyard and pool are open until 11pm on weekends. We did have a wedding group that decided to make a lot of noise when returning to the hotel, however we cannot control all of the guests, just react once we are alerted to the issue. As soon as we were notified that they were being loud in the courtyard we went and cleared them out. As for the fire alarm, that is something nobody can control, someone decided they wanted to smoke a cigarette in the entranceway instead of outside and it set off the alarm. As soon as the all clear was given the alarm was silenced and everyone that was out of their rooms were told that all was clear. As for a refund, I am unable to issue a refund as you booked the room through expedia, and expedia is who took the payment. You will have to contact them if you wish to get a refund for the second night. I again apologize for the unforeseen issues that occured during your stay. I do hope you will give us a chance to exceed your expectations in the future. Obviously.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

This place had to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. If I could leave zero stars I would. The place was so run down and dirty... absolutely disgusting!! People had their dog swimming in the pool and the bar was playing music that was definitely not family friendly. Our shower was half glass, half shower curtain and the water got all over the floor. Domestic fighting both days we stayed. Some of the people staying at the hotel I believe actually live in some of the rooms and those people were rough looking and drunks I literally suggest driving a bit further and staying somewhere else read more
