If I could give zero stars, I would. Ralph's is a horrible company. They don't come when they promise, the don't call when they're on their way, and they don't answer their phones. They have a ridiculous telephone menu system and, try as I might, none of the menu options lead to a human being. I recently used Ralph's Moving to move my household possessions from Quail Creek in Green Valley, Az to Atwater, California. The two employees who packed and loaded the truck and later delivered it were Nate and Rene. To say they did an excellent job would be an understatement. They were exceptional. They were fast, efficient, friendly, very courteous and extremely competent. They packed all my fine china, many serving pieces and art decor, large artificial plants and even a 7 foot tall art piece made of gourds. Nothing was broken or damaged. They laid out many runners on the floor so that the dolly would not leave any marks. They were very careful not to hit walls or leave any marks when moving large objects. They totally wrapped and protected all the furniture they moved. They made helpful suggestions when appropriate. They were very detailed oriented and put an id on every article and box and had me walk through the premises twice to make sure everything I wanted to move had been packed and nothing was left behind. I had a friend helping me who had been in the military service and had used moving companies numerous times in his past and he was very impressed with their work and attitude and said they were superior to any he had ever dealt with before. I would not hesitate to suggest Ralph's Moving company to anyone planning a move. All the employees contected were pleasant and helpfui and I would expecially recommend Nate and his helper Rene to handle the move if they are available. Still waiting on my cabinet that Ralph's Moving and Storage lost. They said they finally found it and would get back to me .... They said I could drive down from Phoenix and pick it up if I wanted to. This is the second time they lost part of my order at the beginning back in October. Do not use Ralph's if you like your things! Rob claimed they were experienced at moving valuable items, but our nice art was packed and transported haphazardly, some of it only partially covered. We had missing items and damage to numerous items -- broken chairs, broken furniture legs, nicks, dents, and tears. We tried multiple times to file a claim and spent more than a year and a half waiting for our claim to 'process' and then waiting for a check to come, after Rob assured us that a check was in the mail. Owner was verbally abusive, nobody returns calls, owner refused to make delivery, hung up on me. They missed their first scheduled delivery entirely and said if i came to try to retrieve my cabinets myself they'd call the police on me. Never have i ever been treated with such disdain by a business. I filed complaints with BBB, the seller, and the manufacturer who hired them. Lowes staff confirmed they receive regular complaints about Ralph's and would prefer the manufacturer not to use them. read more

Ralph's gave me a delivery time between 12 and 4, i do work form home to schedule all my calls for the mooning and arranged for our contractor to be here to accept delivery. i get a call at 9:30 that the delivery will be made in 10 min. i called the office and was told because the "precalled" me i had to accept delivery or pay to reschedule, When i spoke to the manager he said it was just a little early, little early two hours ???????? to your self a favor and pick a company with a better front office, this place is the worst. All that said, the drivers were amazing and very helpful I only accepted delivery AFTER your dispatch told me i would have to pay to reschedule. You gave me no other choice. read more

Ralph's brought us our new mattress today. They were on time, they were efficient in moving our new mattress in and setting it up. They also took out the old mattress. And they picked up all the wrappings before they left, so the room was as clean when they left as it was when they arrived. The two men who did the delivery were polite, friendly, and didn't waste any time getting the job done. They called before delivery so we would know when to expect them. After signing the receipt, they left. and after they were gone I could not find my copy, even tho I remembered having the receipt handed to me. I called the office and within a couple of hours the receipt was emailed to me. I don't think you can ask for better than this. Thank you, Ralph's for your great service. After getting several estimates from movers in the area, we settled on Ralph's and I'm really glad we did. This was a long distance move from Tucson to Minneapolis and during COVID. To start, Rob came to the house to do a visual estimate and was available to answer all of our questions afterwards by phone. On moving day, I got a call from Damien and Mario letting me know when they'd be arriving (bright and early) and these two were AMAZING! They did not stop except for a short break to eat! This company promised delivery today of our new kitchen cabinets. At mid-day, I called them to see when to expect delivery. They said 'Sorry' something messed up and your boxes did not get on the trucks for today. Delivery would be slid for four days. This messed up the contractor's schedule. Ralph's had no option to correct their mistake in a timely fashion like maybe working overtime or finding another truck to complete their obligation. I caution anyone using Ralph's not to set up critical schedules based on any commitment they provide. read more

Failed on multiple parts of my move. Planning stages were very challenging as they were confused by the items to move. Getting a committed contract was continually delayed. They kept on saying don't worry but nothing on paper. I was promised notice when the items arrived so I could check it prior to storage. They never told me. now they said since I was not there when the items arrived, there is a charge to check the items. They seem to be a mess. Try someone else. read more

I ordered a mattress online and they were the ones who delivered and picked up the mattress as it did not work out for me. However, there customer service was excellent. From the office staff calling to arrange a pick up to delivery calling to inform you of there arrival time, they were professional and personable. With corona they had there masks on, and kept there distance, and wanted to minimize any in home contact. I would highly recommend them. read more

This is the 4th move we have made and the worst. While they were on-time packing, the van driver was a day late coming to load. He stated that he had let Ralph's know a week ago that he was going to be a day late. That was never communicated, as a result our house was all packed and had to spend an extra day in a hotel. When we arrived at our distination, of the four flat screen TV's, two were broken. One looked like it had be dropped and the screen was cracked, and the other looked like it had had something sit on the screen and broke the LED board inside. We also had our piano leg broken and one dining table chair spindle broken. They hide the broken dining room chair in the storage room behind several boxes so it wasnt discovered until 4 days after unloading. The final straw was the person that came to give us the quote, stated that one of Atlas' services was hauling away the empty boxes and packing material after. When I went to call and arrange the empty box pickup, was told that services was an additional $250. That was NOT how it was explained to me, I was told it was part of the original quote, but the sales person denied saying that. As a result, I would NEVER used Ralph's and Atlas Van Lines again. I have always had good luck with Mayflower in the past and will definitely be going back to them in the future. read more

I have never had the opportunity to use a moving company in the past, this was my first experience and I have to say it was AMAZING!!! Mario, Javier and Luis were EXCELLENT! They were all professional, knew exactly what they were doing and together they worked just like a well-oiled machine! They were also very funny and made me feel at ease the whole time. Very unhappy customer, my belongings were damaged when I received them along with a few items that were missing. I have one bed rail from each of my beds missing. These people clearly lack organization along with professionalism. Additionally, I informed the staff members of me leaving behind a couple items prior to me leaving their facility in which they approved however, I received a phone call 4 days later stating that I owe a $200 fee for disposal of those items (leaving me blindsided). Then when I followed up with a staff member regarding my missing belongings, I was informed that I must pay the $200 disposal fee in order for them to look for my belongings that THEY MISPLACED. This is completely unprofessional, I understand why this company has been receiving so many negative reviews. THEN to make matters worst, I received an invoice for a storage unit when my items are no longer in their possession. These people are clearly unprofessional, sloppy, and have poor customer service. I am still baffled on how one rail from each of my beds are missing, this makes absolutely no sense and is completely unacceptable. Not only does this reflect a lack of care for customers' possessions but it shows exactly how incompetent the staff members are, I am highly upset about this situation. This company delivered a new mattress to my home and exchanged it twice, so a total of three visits (working for the mattress company as part of white glove delivery service). They utilize a two-man crew, one is more experienced, the other one seems more of a trainee or less experienced. The first delivery was good though a little rushed I felt. In the next two deliveries, the crew leader was a person named Hapaki who did an exceptional job, which is the reason for this review. He immediately grasped and respected all my requirements (booties to be worn outside the house on a floor cover and not touch the ground, unwrapping of the mattress inside the house, careful with walls and doors), which I stated up front. Importantly, he advised the less experienced crew member and kept an eye, and at no point I sensed any discomfort from their end in complying with my requests. He even ensured, as I requested, that the picked up mattress be wrapped on the way out and he showed his crew partner how to wrap it outside the house without touching the ground and making it dirty. In other words, he looked out for the interests of the mattress company while keeping up with my requests. Both crew members were very polite and professional at all times, an all around outstanding service! read more

We needed to pack our 3 bedroom house into a U-Haul to move cross-country, so we called Ralph's, and they were AMAZING!! We got prompt and courteous calls from the office and from the movers themselves about when we could expect them. They were on time and worked diligently until everything was packed. Not only that, but the guys we had-- Taylor and Dave -- were funny, kind, and gave us such great advice about any future packing and moving we might need to do. After reviewing and reviewing moving companies and only getting over the phone quotes, I decided to go with Ralph's Transfer. Jonathan their agent came out and did a walk through estimate with me. He was not pushy and very professional. Unlike another local moving company who's agent was pushy and tried to pressure me and stated I needed to pay an up front deposit of $500. Nice try "Three Gorillas". I was given a loading date (pickup) and an unloading date (delivery) which the company upheld. Our furniture was delivered and unloaded in a timely matter. They also helped put things back together they had taken apart. Nothing and to my surprise nothing was damaged or lost. Great Job. Well let's do an update. Finally received our second shipment. This one was over seas. Let's start with the shotty paperwork, 3 different colors and double numbers. What a hot mess. It was everyone did their own thing and nothing to keep my move simple. Now I have 35 missing boxes (double notes by military transportation on delivery). My stuff it seems was either not in a climate controlled storage or the climate controls suck! I received boxes that had clearly gotten wet, my king size head board was warped, I had mold growing on several pieces of furniture. Oh let's talk mold, the chest freezer "they couldn't find in the warehouse," for the first half of my move is full of black mold and is completely black on the inside. Mind you it had been emptied wiped out and air dried 2 weeks before they came. How about we cover the 3 brand new mattress and box springs that look like someone took them out and pissed all over them. Now my puppy try's to shit in my beds. Oh the missing dryer also in this shipment that wasn't suppose to be. So much damage it's bullshit. How do you break solid furniture. I am looking at about $5,000 in loss and damage. Though economical as far as professional movers go, their movers are very unprofessional, movers complained and had unprofessional conversation, lost parts to our furniture, did not wrap furniture, and even though they were notified in advance including their move coordinator who was at our home ...did not bring the proper sized bed box (they tried to use a single mattress box for our queen mattress) they claim is supposed to be included, and did not handle the bed properly as their franchisee and move coordinator claimed they would. They left dirty greasy handprints all over our mattress. (even their 10% online discount doesn't make up for their unprofessional service). read more

Amazing!! Pick up was right on time for a move from Tucson to Palm Springs, CA. Delivery was also right on time. Everyone was helpful and friendly. A large patio table had its legs bent by having too much weight placed on top, which I do not see as careless, things happen. Jonathan was more than concerned and assured me that all will be made right. I sent him a quote for a welder to repair the table and he immediately e-mailed that a check was on its way. My boyfriend and I hired Ralph's to help us move from his apartment to my house with another stop at a storage unit. I have to say that their team was the hardest working and most careful and thoughtful crew. They took initiative but we're also very thorough in asking us how we wanted things to be stacked and organized in the storage unit since wed be stopping by often to get/put things from there. They were very organized and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed. For the amount of time, and hardwork the crew put in, the rates are very competitive and reasonable. They were on time and very professional. Had us loaded in 4 hours. After loaded the company called and asked how everything went. Don't bother with with company me and my family moved from Arizona to Michigan and in the beginning everything seemed like it was going smooth, until they left my property on 9/28 my belonging left in their trucks to their storage where they were suppose to weigh the truck, unload it into another and give us the full weight and price of shipment and contact us with said information. 5 days later I still heard nothing from these people no receipt, no invoice no nothing. And then when it finally arrived in Michigan almost 10 days later, still no invoice no receipt just a bill worth 24,000$ We were also told RALPHS would bring my belongings but instead they decided to take it upon themselves and subcontract with another moving company and didn't bother to tel me until after my things were already on the way not only did they do EVERYTHING listed above upon receiving my belongs almost everything was either ripped open as if someone got into my things, the boxes were crushed I FOUND MOLD IN MY FRIDGE because they didn't pack it properly things were just straight MISSING and there are a lot of thing I can't get back because they SHATTERED MY HEIRLOOMS WHEN THEY SAID FAILGE ON ALL SIDES because of their unbelievable unprofessional owner and his workers i suggest this dude find a profession he's actually good at. is zero stars an option? read more

We had a last minute move from Las Vegas To Arizona and needed a few extra hands to help us unload two 26ft trucks. We were very skeptical because it was last minute and out of our state so we were crossing our fingers, hoping their services would be to our standards. The entire company and crew was more than happy to accommodate us and they did an amazing job. They have a 4 hour minimum but gladly allowed us to book for 3 hours. Everyone was really professional and helpful, including the drivers and the owner Rob. Ralphs Moving is the most dishonest company. I moved overseas 3 years ago with the Military. When they moved my belongings into their storage, they broke my door down to my new home. Trying to move a couch out by not maneuvering it right. The damage was so bad the door had to be replaced. They weren't going to put a new door on until I contacted TMO with the military. They had to put a brand new door on prior to me leaving. Then when I got back in July 2016. Ralphs moved my HHGs back to my home. They damaged everything. When they were done moving everything back in. I wanted to sit and write all the damage right then , as this is the way it is to be done. Instead they ran out with the paper work and I had to chase them down for copy's. I got one copy. Of all the paper work. Called the company right away. Spoke with Suzi Wicks , wife of the owner Rob Wicks. She was rude and just nasty and hung up on me 3 times. My expensive Marble tables chipped and broken in pieces. Tables cracked. Dresser drawers crack, chipped and scratched and knobs missing. Glass broken. When they moved my large TV and other furniture into the rooms they tore up my walls and damaged them bad. So much more. Filed my complaint in time. Went to TMO at Marine Base. TMO sent them the paper work with the damage via email. Then I receive a letter in the mail signed by Suzi Wicks , the owners wife stating that I had 15 days to file the complaint. Now that 15 days has passed they refuse to cover any damage saying their not responsible and they are not paying a thing. The military has a long process of days to send your paper work in. 75 days. They will be dealing with the Military now. This I will not let go. This company has and is doing everything so they don't have to pay the damage they caused. Just to let you know how they treat their workers. The two guys who moved my stuff , drove 6 hours in 115 degree weather with no air conditioning in the truck. Unpacked my furniture for 7 hours then had to drive back another 6 hours because Ralphs wouldn't put them in a hotel. How horrible for these men. Stating they almost passed out from the heat several times. I called and spoke with Jonathan (a lead person) who used to work with this company and left because of how the owners were with the mistreatment of people's belongings. Beware of this company. I don't recommend them. They are a horrible company. Will do everything to not pay out the damage they cause. Please see pictures posted.
