We were greeted with warm smiles, and the muffins had just come out of the oven--they hadn't even had a chance to put them on display yet! Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The shop has such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that made us want to linger a little longer before hitting the road. I like the different seating options & the big windows allowing so much natural light inside. Even on a rainy day, you get an energetic community vibe sitting inside as this place is popular with all ages. The coffee shop always has specialty drinks but I'm quite happy with their tea & mocha options. The panini is a perfect size for a lighter lunch & remember to save room for their really tasty dessert options. My favourite is the cookie sandwich that's dipped in chocolate. It's actually the size of the panini (perfect if you got a sweet tooth!). If you find the line up long, take a wander through the back corner of the coffee shop. There's local products that make nice gifts or special treats for yourself. I also like this coffee shop as it is all one level from parking lot into coffee shop. I have yet to get there in good weather but there seems to be space for tables outside for nicer days. Washroom is a decent size but I do wonder if someone in a wheelchair would be able to make the turn/ tighter angle due to the divider wall between seating & the washroom. Cane & walker users would be fine though. I look forward to stopping here when I get the chance for another mocha & continuing to try different light lunch options & their very lovely snacks/desserts.

I think this place had the worst matcha I've ever tasted. Usually cafes will serve smth that tastes like sweet milk but this just tasted like water..so I feel like their milk was also not good. That being said the latte was very delicious. Their coffee is very aromatic and the latte was somehow very rich, smooth and creamy. I just don't know how the milk in the latte was so good and the milk in the matcha was terrible. I got a house blend bag as well and it's more on the fruity/acidic side if you like coffee like that.

An absolute must, served warm with a fragrant and flavourful olive oil. The olives are so simple yet the chef adds a ton of behind the scenes flavours (think, marinating in a bunch of complimentary flavours). I ordered the vegan and GF dal one night! Huge portions with fresh shaved vegetables and a generous serving of lentils. A hearty and comforting meal that packs a ton for protein. I was utterly stuffed for hours after this meal. Next night, I ordered the vegan and GF pizza (no fake cheese, just a ton of partnered vegetables, herbs, and pine nuts). I loved this dish. Again, huge servings and a ton of delicate touches. The roasted squash added such a lovely texture and the dill and pine nuts were an excellent choice. We also got the salad, which was anything but basic. Pine nuts and herbs and a sweet, savoury dressing. It was all super excellent. Thank you for making our island experience truly remarkable!
