School is very discriminatory towards students with learning disabilities and children who arent…read more"white" whenever there is a problem its always the minority childs fault even if theres no legit evidence of anything other than he said she said and inconsistent statements Education wise this is by far the worst school my child has ever attended. Grades have dropped drastically here down to failing two years in a row. The way the teachers talk to and about the students can be really unethical at times- some teachers seem to be caring - others are disgustingly rude and lack educational etiquette . The principal is a piece of work! Reminds me of president trump- hes always right never wrong and nope you cant get two words in on any conversation with him. If you object to anything he says your child will be the one to suffer . Recess is a disaster ! Lack of supervision and always a fight going on somewhere. Major bullying issues here and it gets swept quietly under a rug! Too many kids in classes with only one teacher. Slow learners get left hanging. School has a beautiful building and campus on the flip side of things . Wonderful secretaries and counselors. Nice gym and library. They do issue chromebooks to all students. But to me and what ive been through the last two years thats not enough for a good review. This is the only middle school in this district my childs "zoned and allowed" to attend. Its a problem!!!

Haviland middle school is a excellent school.This school is really good. The teacher use tough love…read morethey push your children as hard as they can go, that's from my personal experience. Some people might say that their child's grades had rapidly dropped in this school well... they don't work hard enough. If your child is not hardworking they will never succeed that's a stupid thing to say but it is true. Even if your child has a learning disability they will help you by offering extra help at recess or after school if you need it. This is unless your child is not willing to get good grades which I found out was more than 75% of the school. This means 75% of the schools children don't care about grades, however if your child if the hardworking 25% I assure you that your child will succeed. All of the campus is clean and shiny, everything is neatly organized until tampered by us, the students, but eventually they will fix it and make it all better. The only bad thing about this school (not really bad) is it's food. The food is not made in school but canned food. Not that bad though you can get through it.
