Ben and the staff at Jay Malone went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. They picked him up from the airport and drove him the 1.5 hours to the dealership. No games, no bait and switch, the truck was priced more than fairly. The first thing this very honest dealer did was put a 9 page CARFAX report on the table for my husband to read about the truck's history. We do our research anyway beforehand and the truck has an immaculate history. The dealership had the truck detailed to a level where it appeared and smelled brand new. It was a breeze to complete the paperwork (less than an hour). We paid cash in full. The entire staff congratulated him and asked if they could do anything else to make his day easier. My husband was on the road in our new truck, driving back the 1600 miles to Maine! The one star reviews here are confusing as heck - can't imagine this dealership being even remotely bad and we've dealt with some bad ones in the past. Seems like most of the one star reviews here are from people with extremely bad credit and aren't upfront about it.

Derek is awesome to work with and recognizes when I bring my truck in and has checked in with me to make sure everything was ok. Was recently in PA and had to stop at a Chevy dealership there and they quoted me a bu ch of repairs that were needed to my truck. Brought it to Schwieters and they found about half of the problems the other dealership did and did a full inspection. I was given a loaner while my truck was in the shop and then I was told on Friday that my truck wouldn't be ready til Monday but I was leaving town early Monday again so the service guys ended up being my hero's for the day because they got everything done by Saturday morning and was ready to go. THANK YOU service dept!!! They were great, I've never had a problem with them and they have taken good care of my truck when I bring it in for service. They are also very communicative before doing any costly repairs so I know what I'm getting in to. I've recommended Schwieters and Derek to a friend who bought their pickup here too and I would recommend it again to anyone. I'm a diehard Bow tie girl anyway but the service here has only solidified why I'm a Chevy girl. Keep it up guys!

    After storing my motorhome with them for the winter, I come to pick it up only to find the awning…read moreCOMPLETELY gone. When I spoke with the manager, he said the wind had blown it off. When I asked how he expected awnings to stay on while traveling down the highway at 75mph without being "blown off," he directed me to the sign that states "Not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles." When I asked him about "theft," he hung up on me. After inspecting where my awning was ripped off by the wind, there was absolutely NO damage what-so-ever. If the wind had blown it off, you would've seen where the screws/lags had been stripped and ripped from the wall of the motorhome. Instead, the awning had been unscrewed and taken off. Had their been wind damage to the point where the employees decided to carefully remove the remnants of the awning of their own free will, wouldn't that have warranted a customer service call explaining what they were doing and why? Bottom line, I was ripped off. I paid for a service and got parts off my vehicle stolen. This is an untrustworthy dealership that I will NOT be going back to. I'm sure they'll be in business for a while, but if they keep this up, they will go the way of the do-do.

Tore right off and hit the Smart car next to me. Knocked that little car clean off the road. Well, I pulled into Atwater and a local told me to stop at Atwater Ford West. Best decision I ever made. Told the guy walking through the lot what I was looking for and he said "I got you covered". He went out back and a few minutes later came back with a barely used awning, screws, brackets and all. Said he'd give me a discount for paying cash, which I did... $100 and my last case of beer! Dang, that woulda cost me $1,000 brand new. Great deal from Atwater Ford West

    Been here 10 years and the first 6 years of taking our vehicles in for oil changes and service I…read morewould of given them 5 stars, Last 4 I have had multiple issues from over filling the oil several times, Rotating tires and not resetting the tire monitor system then trying to sell me new sensors when all they needed was to be set (8months ago all good) Then we went to sell one of our vehicles but decided to get an oil change first and have them check it out to make sure no issues, Well we sold it and told the new owners Matt Saxe has done all service and just did it again, New owner brought it over to ask something then they tried to tell her it was unsafe to drive a week after they just had it in for service, On top of that they tried selling her a new car, Last thing was as someone who has changed oil all my life in different cars I was wondering why when I change oil it is clear when they do it it is all dark like used oil, Then I just noticed after 6 months the oil filter was all rusted with bubbles no way that was changed 6 months ago, Also if you are going to buy do your research they are always more for same vehicle than other places

They knew we were coming from 3 hrs away to buy the car. After looking at the car and getting financed then they told us we couldn't take the car home. Greg (sales manager) told us it was illegal to sell us the car until it had been inspected (which is a lie)! We could do paperwork but couldn't take the car. They would deliver some time the next week. During the inspection they found codes for the radio?? But in reality they were for the O2 sensor they didn't want to fix. Their inspection missed the fact that it had multiple bulbs burnt out, air filter was really dirty, and cabin filter was really dirty. In removing the buyers guide from the side window they wrecked the window tint. In contacting them about these issues they wouldn't respond until multiple messages were sent. Then lied about the check engine light and codes and won't pay for repairs. They paid for a new air filter that's it. Lied and said no pictures were sent of the window tint issues. If you are looking for a dealership who will lie to you go see Greg he will do that with a smile on his face.
