My first time at this office I sat there and cried as a 23 year old woman explaining my story. I was scared. I was embarrassed. During my appointment the dentist told me that it doesn't matter how much makeup I wear, how I do my hair, that people will always judge me for my teeth and oral health. ( yes true ) That made me very insecure and upset. I literally sat in his chair and cried for like 10 minutes if not more. And that's your response? To the point I again, I didn't go to a dentist for a number of years. ( until a week ago ) Yes my oral health suffered over those 4 or 5 years because I was truly scarred from my dentist visit in New York. But being told that my overall appearance won't matter to people because my oral health is so bad was not the way to say what he needed to say. I found it very damaging and way out of line. It made me insecure to the point I didn't wear any makeup or nice clothes to my most recent dentist appointment at a different new office here in Westchester. The new office was very welcoming, understanding and extremely nice and VERY EMPATHETIC to what I had been through with my last two different dentist appointments. I honestly do not recommend this office. It made me embarrassed and scared to enter another dentist office for almost another 4 years. That's almost a whole decade without dental care because of mishandling by two different dentists for different reasons. Your doctors are there to support you, be honest, empathetic, and uplift you. Not put you down in the process of your care.

I did need to make a few adjustments to my brushing, as I was using too strong a brush, mine was medium. I have switched over to soft and I should have lesser troubles in the future. I brushed so hard that I wore the enamel off and started carving out the dentin. The doctor fixed all of my teeth and then some even fixing the carving out parts, she filled with composite material. My wife goes here next and I am sure she will love it too.

Yes, that was an issue that needed to be dealt with but that was NOT the tooth my dentist had wanted done first. Consequently I still have to go back and have the original tooth worked on. The really strange part was yesterday I received a check from this facility that was 2/3 of my original co-pay. I have no idea if the insurance they quoted me was incorrect or this is money back for the "extra" tooth work. Bottom line, communication is not a strong point.

My husband and I had appointments and it was a little difficult to find at first because there was work being done on the outside of the building. The inside of the office looks great. It's a very inviting environment and looks very modern. The woman at the front desk was extremely personable and nice. Our appointments were back to back so my husband went first but I didn't have to wait long to be called back as well. When I was starting to sit down in the chair I could hear a television but couldn't see where it was coming from. When I leaned back in the chair it was my surprise the tv was on the ceiling!! AND I had a choice of what I wanted to watch! Clearly this made me very excited, lol. The appointment went great and Dr. Mclean was so nice and took the time to talk to me about any concerns I had. The woman who cleaned my teeth (sorry I can't remember her name!) did an amazing job! My husband had a great experience as well and since then we have referred family and friends to their office as well. I'm not scared to go to the dentist anymore!!

I had used DDS Fieldstone on a couple of occasions for broken teeth. He had to send me to other…read moredentist for root canals then come back to him for crowns (two in total). Both crowns have had to be removed and are now replaced with implants because the quality of work was well below standard. Neither crown lasted for more than 3 yrs. I had issue after issue with them. Infection in the gums (because food was caught under poorly fitted crown), crowns that fell out and had to be reglued. Not to mention the poor fit within my mouth causing jaw pain. In closing his billing is less than stellar also. Delta Dental has already paid him for the work he performed and he still bills out for other work that was never done.
