Both my husband and I have been extremely happy with Dr. Alhalel. Very experienced and professional office staff.

Mr Spinetti just kept giving me different medications in the span of a few months. When none of them were working, he was ready to give up and just call it a depression/anxiety issue. He even showed me a random video on youtube about inspiration and about life. I remember clutching my stomach, still deeply in pain, and thinking "why am I still in pain? Why is he making me watch this? Why is he doing the bare minimum? Why is he so hesitant to help me?". It honestly felt unreal that he thought a silly little video would suddenly inspire and "fix" me. The visit after that, my stomach was even worse. I was delirious and laying on the bed, hair covering my face. I could faintly see him giving me a "really? So dramtic" look. The nurse actually seemed more concerned than him (rubbing my back, speaking to me) and she was suggesting him to do an endoscopy on me. He was extremely hesitant to do one for no reason at all. He kept trying to talk me out of it like it was some sort of dangerous surgery. He even said how it most likely won't fix the issue. I still got it done anyways. Turns out I had bleeding in my stomach. He referred me to another doctor and I had it repaired. I will give him credit where it's due, he did admit me to the hospital when my weight was extremely low after the surgery and he was a lot nicer when I saw him many many months later, but I didn't feel like he was there for me when I was sick. When I needed his help most. He made me suffer for a lot longer than needed, and he was doing the bare minimum for issues that obviously needed an endoscopy. I went to another Gastro years later, and on the first visit they were already talking about Endoscopy and that's the kind of care I like.
