Both my husband and I have been extremely happy with Dr. Alhalel. Very experienced and professional office staff.

Horrible hospitality and mannerism. Charge nurse Gabby for night shift ER was extremely rude and…read moreunprofessional. She raised her voice at us and would argue after we were asking simple questions without any reason. She had a bad temper and the other nurses seemed to avoid her. This is not the first incident I have had here at DHR before. There has been other cases of nurses neglecting my father in law, stating that they have fed him when i was there overnight and the whole day after, i had to doordash food over and they had not once stepped foot inside of his room, only stating that they fed him and bathed him in the morning (i was there for almost 24 hours). There was also a case where my father in law was in the ER and the nurse was flirting with my husband and being extremely unprofessional and kicked me out of the ER room, only letting me back in after I complained and asked for a change in the nurse.

Fortunately, unlike my experience with DHR billing, this particular provider has still maintained outstanding customer service. Lab results aren't much better. Their lab easily gest confused. My surgery in Houston was almost delayed because they "Forgot" to send the results. On other occasions doctors received only the first page or nothing at all. They have acquired excellent providers who had exceptional customer service and turned them into their minions.

Mr Spinetti just kept giving me different medications in the span of a few months. When none of them were working, he was ready to give up and just call it a depression/anxiety issue. He even showed me a random video on youtube about inspiration and about life. I remember clutching my stomach, still deeply in pain, and thinking "why am I still in pain? Why is he making me watch this? Why is he doing the bare minimum? Why is he so hesitant to help me?". It honestly felt unreal that he thought a silly little video would suddenly inspire and "fix" me. The visit after that, my stomach was even worse. I was delirious and laying on the bed, hair covering my face. I could faintly see him giving me a "really? So dramtic" look. The nurse actually seemed more concerned than him (rubbing my back, speaking to me) and she was suggesting him to do an endoscopy on me. He was extremely hesitant to do one for no reason at all. He kept trying to talk me out of it like it was some sort of dangerous surgery. He even said how it most likely won't fix the issue. I still got it done anyways. Turns out I had bleeding in my stomach. He referred me to another doctor and I had it repaired. I will give him credit where it's due, he did admit me to the hospital when my weight was extremely low after the surgery and he was a lot nicer when I saw him many many months later, but I didn't feel like he was there for me when I was sick. When I needed his help most. He made me suffer for a lot longer than needed, and he was doing the bare minimum for issues that obviously needed an endoscopy. I went to another Gastro years later, and on the first visit they were already talking about Endoscopy and that's the kind of care I like.
