High prices are the norm for a small market. I can't believe people are actually shocked by this. Now the down side. The customer service is abysmal. Upon entering there is no greeting. The three workers don't even look up. Okay, they were busy. I get it. I ordered a sandwich. She briefly looked up but not at me. She was glum and looked angry and never even said hello, thank you or even cracked a smile. There was a second person working there that had exactly the same attitude. No smile, no greeting. Then upon check out with another person, amazingly, the exact same attitude. Glum and unhappy. What's going on with this place? I've never experienced this kind of attitude from anyone in a service position..........Now, if you're thinking they must have been very busy, this was not the case at all. There were two people behind me when I checked out. The store was NOT busy. I'll be avoiding this place at all cost from now on.

They also have a bulk section for nuts, spices, honey, water, candy, coffee, etc. and offer everything else a grocery store would. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores, but you're paying for quality. Everything is fresh, the store is always so clean, and people are for the most part always friendly. They hire people with special needs, which in my opinion, is my favorite part of visiting there. Their butchers are always so friendly and helpful. Their only downfall is SOME of their cashiers. They often are lost in their own conversations, and do not greet or engage their customers. They can come across as rude or unfriendly for this reason. But over all, Olivers is my go to spot for all local meats, delicious and beautiful cakes, and to-go food. Highly recommend.
