I've been coming to Dr. Garg for several years now. I'm a regular, go in for a cleaning every 3 months. Had many cleanings here and all have been good! My last visit earlier this week with a new hygienist named Angela (I think or was it Angel). She was very nice, professional and my teeth feel the most amazing they've felt and looked in years!! She did something different in her process and my teeth still feel amazing days later. And I told her I'm a baby and she was gentle! The office is clean, they have text and email notifications for your appointments. If they need to change up your appointment, they call you to reschedule. They are very good at communication! I really can't say enough positive things about Dr. Garg and his staff. I hadn't been to a dentist for over twenty years (unfortunately that's not an exaggeration) due to gripping fear from a childhood of military dentistry. He came highly recommended to me by a friend so I finally built up the courage to go in after months of terrible pain. He and his staff were very considerate to my anxiety. They never made me feel embarrassed. After my initial consultation I felt comfortable enough to go back. I ended up needing about 10 visits from fillings, to getting teeth pulled to getting an implant. Dr. Garg laid out every treatment and explained it all to me and answered my endless questions with great patience. I couldn't believe his shots were painless! I didn't even know that was possible. Stephanie in the front office made appointment scheduling very easy. She also went far out of her way to work with my insurance and provide me with always changing estimates and different scenarios I could do insurance wise because my work was so extensive. In the past, I was a participant in a Dental Fears Study and learned I have no fear of dentists but I don't trust dentists. My negative feelings resulted from years of costly dental work done that harmed me rather than helped me. After living in Hemet for two years, I had not found a dentist with whom I was comfortable. However, in pain and facing a dental emergency, I had to find someone fast. My first choice was not able to see me for two weeks. I asked that office for a referral and the staff person recommended Dr. Garg. Upon arrival, I was given a health questionnaire that was about 10 pages long, but in depth. I was taken into the examining room where x-rays and dental services are done. I liked not having to shuttle from room to room and person to person. By the time Dr. Garg entered the room, it was obvious he had read my health history. His questions were concise and took my medical history into consideration. I was pleased with his approach and began to relax despite being in pain. His chairside manner was very reassuring and I further relaxed. During the procedure, he asked me if I was in pain, to which I responded yes twice. His technique accommodated my pain and relieved it. He explained the aftercare and possible complications. I am very thankful to be pain free with no complications. I recommend Dr. Garg without any hesitation. I finally found my dentist here in Hemet. The four stars are because while everyone of the staff called me by name and were respectful, no one introduced themselves to me by name or position including Dr. Garg. Dr. Garg makes his patients feel comfortable, listened to and does high quality work along with that. I flew from San Jose to Hemet just to see him to get my dental work done. I was told by a dentist in San Jose that there was a 99.9% chance that I needed a root canal. I was shocked to hear this and sent a copy of my xrays to Dr. Garg. He looked at them and explained that from the imaging he felt that all I needed was a filling but that he would know more when he went to based on the amount of decay. I decided to come see him because the idea of immediately jump to a root canal like my dentist in San Jose said was terrifying to me! Dr. Garg and his staff were incredibly friendly and helped ease my fears. They explained every step to me and showed me my imaging and what their plan was. I was so surprised after he numbed me because it was the first time a numbing shot didn't hurt! Long story short - after an hour my filling was done with NO root canal!
