Not too long ago I had one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel. I showed up to San Jacinto Dental Group in BAD shape. I had tremendous pain and half a mouthful of destroyed teeth that needed to be surgically extracted. I didn't have a penny to my name but I had medi-cal. The doctor fit me in quickly since I was in pain, and she did ALL the work at once! The staff was very accommodating and even let me come in on a day they were closed to collect my dentures! No, the doctor is not the most cordial dentist I've ever met. I think there may be a language barrier there. If you're some sorta gentile that need niceties and flowery language, this is not the dentist for you. read more

DR NANCY PATEL ONLY WANTS YOUR MONEY !!!I was having work done by DR. Nancy Patel she recommended I get a root canal due to pain I was having , I was almost certain the pain was coming from a filling that had came out. When I went back for a deep cleaning they fixed my filling and the pain has been gone ever since I have talked to a few people and have all advised me to get a second opinion on the root canal saying if I don't absolutely need it to hold off as their success percentage is so low ! I wanted to talk to DR. NANCY PATEL about this but she refused to keep my appointment and said she no longer comfortable doing my dental work. What a joke. San Jacinto Dental is so professional. Very gentle, and efficient. Dr. Shaw was extremely effective. I felt very comfortable in her care. April was very caring and attentive. The receptionist Jessica was very informative. I had got seven teeth extracted. New smile all within one month. I throughly recommend this Dentist. They serve children, and seniors. I have had dental insurance a cpl of years and have never used it. Recently my gums got all swollen and extremely painful so I went to my insurer and the said they assigned me to this office. I called telling them I was assigned to them and am in a lot of pain and when can I get in to see the dentist. The lady was EXTREMELY rude on the phone and acted like I was bothering her with my dental needs. She then told me call back next week because our receptionist is on vacation then hung up on me. I been going to San Jacinto Dental Group for just over 4 years maybe even longer. The whole staff is great, very nice and professional. The receptionist is the biggest sweetheart, and the Dr is just amazing! She really knows what she's doing and really helped me out on what's best for me and my teeth, I have a great smile and I owe that to San Jacinto Dental Group. Waiting room is small. 6 chairs and a flat screen tv. Office assistants seem very nice. lol.. not that you can notice it but I started a draft on this place in June of 2012... wowowow shows the last time I used my comp to yelp. anywho!! that's all I can really say about the place is that it's small... oh and one thing I didn't like, I was only there to accompany my beautiful sister and when she was up at the counter, since the whole place is barely holds 6 people, you can hear all the personal info you give to the receptionist. My wife had xray and uppers pulled for dentures. They take IEHP. Had to go back in 1 week for dentures. Came back dentures didn't fit. They said bone swollen come back 2 weeks. Came back they said she is in 10 percent that requires bone to be shaved. It will cost us 300.00 pay half to reserve appointment with doc or have to wait 3 mo. We barrowed money came back paid and Doc said cant do it there it requires more indepth surgery 1200-1500 dollars. We never went over financials. We have no money. Xrays would have told them she was in that 10 percent. She hasn't had her uppers since way before Christmas. I feel they were way to quick to do what ever they can get paid for at her expense. To this day we still have not heard from them. We are gonna find another Dentist and a Lawyer. Be careful. Ask them for all possibilities and your responsibilities they wont volunteer it. read more

Shoddy work. I was told to get some sandpaper and fix it myself. No joke, sandpaper! Walls are dirty with a lot of water damage, outlets are bare with wires protruding - bad combination! At least they don't run your credit before you even get x-rays. Wait time is low. My experience was terrible but mileage may vary. Buyer beware. read more

This is the worst dentist experience. Not only did they make me wait 1 months for dental care for approval of my insurance. After I get in. I get numbed only to be told she can't do it. I need to go to specialist. She had my X-rays for 1 month. Horrible service. Beware. If you care about your smile don't go there. read more

I used this office in 2009 and if Dr. Hakimi still owns it, run the opposite way. I had a filling done at this office and had to have the work re-done very shortly afterwards by another actual dentist when the filling broke. I called San Jacinto Dental Group and "Sean" recognized the work was below standard because he knew the "dentist" he had hired was unqualified. (He was asking the dental assistant how to do the procedure!). Scary situation....pay more and go to a qualified dentist; ask where they went to college and what grades they received! read more
