Dinner in Mudgee, we drove past a few pubs but felt like something different so we decided upon Indian.
First people to sit down probably coz it was only 6pm (yep we feel old) lol
Ordered the chicken tikka (3 portions) which came out on a sizzling plate. Tasty
Then for mains we had the butter chicken and beef masala both mild. ( you can opt to have it mild/medium or hot) with some garlic naan bread, the mains came with saffron rice.
Rice tasted bland, naan was fresh from the oven. I enjoyed the beef masala but the butter chicken wasn't as creamy as how you get it in Sydney.
Overall, it was an ok dinner. Waitress was very friendly. They also do takeaway which a lot of people kept calling for. Warm food for a freezing cold night! read more
