She's sweet, genuine, encouraging, and ambitious. We were really bad about setting a specific timeline for the day-of until the week before and Melissa was understanding and flexible with whatever needed to happen even with last-minute planning. She took nice family portraits for us and we had a blast taking our couples shots with her down on the beach. I'm a naturalist nerd and delighted in the fact that she is too, as we kept pausing to exclaim over beach-combing finds and incorporating things like sand dollars and peeling madrona bark into our photos. She did an excellent job balancing our requests for certain backdrops and types of shots with her own professional suggestions, and we couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out! She was extremely prompt with the turn-around. Sneak peeks the day after (!) and our whole portfolio just 2.5 weeks after! Wow!
