The goal for the weekend was bridesmaids' lenghas and my ceremony saree. Accomplished! On our way back to the car, we (my Mom, sister and I ) walked by Raj Jewels', saw a set we liked in the window and decided to just casually check out the store and get an idea of pricing... just for future reference. It's good knowledge to have if friends come for wedding shopping too. My parents had already done the bridal shopping trip to India, and bought some gold for the wedding. However, after trying a few pieces on, loving them, leaving the store to check out a few others in the neighborhood, and then returning an hour later, we had our minds made up. We realized Raj Jewels has a great collection, with a wide range of styles compared to a few other stores. Minnie was very helpful and pleasant to work with. She was able to show me many different sets at first and help me narrow down from there. I enjoyed the process and the ease in identifying what my taste was, because walking in, I had no clue. My wife's wedding band, an art deco platinum ring inherited along with an engagement ring from my grandmother, had lost several small emeralds and a diamond. We compared several jewelers in the area to replace the band and settled on Raj Jewels. Not only did Vishal explain the characteristics of the emeralds and quality of diamonds that would be used, but he was able to design a band to match the engagement ring. We placed the order just before Christmas and expected to receive the ring in mid-March. Today Vishal texted us and said the band came in early. We were thrilled with the band - it complemented the engagement ring perfectly, came with certifications and, most importantly, my wife loves it. Outstanding Experience. I went to many stores to buy diamond jewelry but my friend referred me to Raj Jewelry in Edison. I purchased Diamond Necklace. The price was reasonable. However after I went home I checked IGI report online but there was some typo in report issued by IGI India. I went back to Raj Jewels again to return it but owner Bobby Bansal was very honest and courteous. He took me to IGI New York for reevaluating the diamonds at his own expense.
