And this was a same-day appointment. I have Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), and haven't had a bout since 2010. Until early this morning. First, it was a blessing to get a same-day appointment. It was another to have Dr. Chung listen to me thoroughly and offer thoughtful, intelligent insight into all possibilities, and validate my concerns. And he will certainly help me if things haven't improved. Couldn't be better.

No where in any of my medical records is this stated on any of my medical records. I had never met, or had an appointment before with Wayne Chung. Moreover I didn't engage in any banter, or did I act immature when talking to him. His hostile demeanor may stem from another complaint that had I made against his staff last year in 2025, on yelp. Regardless of what his motive'(s) might be, medical records must be accurate they serve as a legally binding document proving that healthcare providers adhered to the proper standard of care. Continuity of care allows Dr's, Specialists, and RN's, to understand a patients exact medical history, on going conditions, and treatment plans without relying on memory, or unsubstantiated opinion, which prevents dangerous gaps in care. I've already filed a complaint with the New York Department of Health against Wayne Chung, MD. In regards to his unprofessional behavior during my appointment. and his odd, if not suspicious diagnoses, and treatment plan. Henry Rios

He will go through every possible avenue to AVOID surgery and only make the recommendation when there's no other option. I eventually needed surgery for a deviated septum and it was a life changer, i no longer have the chronic illness in my nasal cavity and it even helped eased my snoring a bit. He works out of two locations, one in Bay Ridge and another up the block from Maimonides hospital in Boro Park. Both locations are insanely busy and it's very hard to find parking in the Boro Park location. The staff at the Boro Park location are very friendly and work hard with a mob of people at all times. The waiting room area is small but packed in with seats so it's pretty tight. If you need an ENT Dr. Weiss is one of the best. He performed the surgery himself at Maimonides and will put you at ease through the whole process. The last thing he said to me before i went under in the operating room was "so how about those METS." Great guy, great doctor, great choice.

As a returning patient of Dr. Kwiat, I only recently learned she had moved to this practice. This was my first time visiting this specific location. Dr. Kwiat has excellent bedside manner; she is kind, attentive, and genuinely empathetic. I highly recommend her if you are in search of an allergist/immunologist. She is also very communicative regarding medication follow-ups and maintenance. I work in healthcare, and I personally find her tone to be factual and professional rather than condescending. I noticed several reviews mentioning her demeanor, but I didn't find that she "talks down" to patients at all. She is simply very knowledgeable in her field. If your symptoms don't align with a specific condition that you are assuming you might have, she will tell you outright that the science and medicine don't back it up. Regarding requests for testing, she approaches them from a practical insurance and business standpoint to determine if a test is truly medically necessary before filing a claim or charging you. If there is a disagreement or a misunderstanding, it certainly isn't coming from a place of ill-will; she is just being direct. The practice itself is on the 3rd floor (there is an elevator available). The front desk staff are pleasant, and the waiting room is spacious, bright, and clean. There is also a restroom available for patients. Booking through their website was seamless. Despite my chaotic schedule, I had to reschedule several times and encountered no issues. They provided a reminder call on Monday for my Tuesday appointment, along with several text and email check-in reminders. I arrived 15 minutes early, but since I had pre-filled my forms online, I only waited about five minutes before being called back. The examination rooms are also quite spacious and comfortable. I even had to call the office after my appointment with a follow-up question; they took a message, and Dr. Kwiat called me back just a few hours later to address my concerns. It has been a great experience thus far. I highly recommend Dr. Kwiat for your allergy and immunology needs. My insurance did not require a referral to see her, but I'd suggest calling to double-check your own coverage!

About half the questions were related to Covid. After I was finally done I didn't wait long to see the doctor. Once inside I explained to the doctor my issue and he looked in my nose and was about to tell me right away the issue. After suffering for about a month without knowing what was happening I was relieved. The front desk gives you checkout summary before you leaves that explains everything about your visit, medications and when you follow up. Just a side note, parking in the area was challenging.
