We've used Raise Rite twice now, once for our front walk and once for our city sidewalk that was marked by the inspector. The quote process is easy and usually fairly quick -- they send someone out and they create a quote on the spot on their iPad, which is emailed to you immediately. You accept the quote online and they come at their convenience (you can schedule a time, but it takes longer) to do the work, which is insanely fast! Our front walk took maybe half an hour, and it was kind of tricky since several slabs had cracked, and the sidewalk took 15-20 minutes, max. Clearly, they know what they're doing!
Billing is also done via email after they do the work. They offer a $10 discount for placing a sign in your yard, but despite indicating that on both my quotes, they've never actually left a sign. But I received a discount both times, so I guess I shouldn't really complain.
Bottom line, if you need concrete work, call Raise Rite first. It might be cheaper, easier, and tidier to have them fix what you have than break it up and start over! read more
