I scheduled my appointment for 3h30pm for an emergency…read more(I had my crown lose in front of my mouth, I am bleeding with pus in my mouth so I worried about infection). I got there 10 minutes early to get ready for my appointment. They called me in around 3h40 and went to the room and waited, waited till 4h15 or so when the doctor came in. No excuses about the delay, just plain and simple " please sit" (by the way, I sent my files from a previous appoitnment around 10 am today, so he could take a look). After back and forth communication, around 4h30 he said he needed to attend another patient while he was thinking about my case. All right....after 1h being there, it sounds fair right? Then around 20 minutes later he came in again and we came to a conclusion: I will have to wait a week to get my mold done. Then I asked him, do you think I can wait a week like these? He was silent.....anyway....Then we jumped to a fast solution and he said he would bring someone to give me price and so on....another 15 minutes and nobody came (even when I asked two times where was the person to give me pricing). I could hear the employees chatting in the hallway, but nobody came to speak with me. By 5h30 I decided to leave - 2h in the office and I left worse than I arrived. The office was pretty busy I must confess, but my experience was horrible. How would anyone like to stay 2h in the office with an emergency and leave empty handed to look for another dentist in the day after?

I work as a registered nurse, and I write this as a patient who had dental work performed here…read more I regret ever coming to this office. All of this happened within a span of 6 months. The first time I came here as a new patient, I noticed my tooth was discolored. I mentioned this to the dental hygentist taking care of me, and he said he didn't see anything, and pulled another dental hygentist in the room to look at my tooth. He said to me "That discoloration is the color of your tooth", as the other dental hygienist laughed at me. Another time I went, I asked the woman at the check out desk which pain medication to take after I had my root canal done. She said to me condescendingly, "You won't have any pain because the nerve is gone". She's right that I may not have nerve pain anymore, but I would have inflammation to the surrounding tissues due to the nerve being extracted. There was no need for her attitude. I went there for a routine cleaning recently, and at the end, the dental hygienist said to me "Has it been a while since your last cleaning? Because it looks like it's been... you know..." and gives me a look, insinuating that I had a lot of plaque in my teeth, and that it has been a long time since I had my them cleaned. If you have ever worked in healthcare, you're taught to keep your judgments to yourself and to care for the patient. Another time I went into their office, the endodontist assessed my tooth and determined it would be appropriate to do a second root canal. They had to move me to another room for the procedure, and when I walked in, I saw a bib on the chair. I told one of the employees that a patient left their bib on the chair. The girl took the bib, left the room, and said "They said that was there for you", and I told her "No, I already have one". I had doubts the room was properly clean. After the 2nd part of my root canal was finished, and after the numbing medicine wore off, I have no idea what the dentist did to me, but I had a fat lip that lasted for days. I don't know how common this is, but I've never had this happen to me before. Last, I had a crown placed one week ago, and it fell out last night. I called this morning to come in and be seen, and they refused to see me because they had no cancellations. I wanted to be taken today because it may not be possible to come in for the remainder of the week, due to childcare, work, and various appointments. The woman on the phone said "Then I will tell Michele next week then". They are refusing to see me over a crown they put in one week ago because they have no cancellations. As a patient, all of this behavior is egregious and unacceptable. I should not have tolerated all that I did, and should have seen another dentist sooner. The only positive thing I will say, is that Dr. Singh, the endodontist, was exceptional. I felt little to no pain, he was personable, kind, and soothing. I would recommend anyone to go to him if you need a root canal done. I don't expect this office to take this review seriously, and I have no doubts the people in this office will make fun of this review. But I'm putting this out there to warn other patients of how unprofessional this office runs.

Yes, I saw the 'towing' sign in the iSmile lot, but didn't think they'd really tow @ 9:00 pm on a Saturday night when the dental office was dark. But, yes...they did tow my car. I understand restricting your lot to your staff & patients during your open hours, but towing when you're closed? That's just not friendly or neighborly at all. I'll look elsewhere for my cleanings and certainly will be sharing my story.

This dentist clearly didn't bother to read the background on me or skim my file at all because I got lectured like a 5 year old about timing my teeth brushing and flossing more, when I am literally recovering from active chemotherapy that wreaked HAVOC on my mouth. I'm doing the best I can each time and to get dressed down like a child who can't turn down hard candies was dehumanizing. This messed up oral biome is what I'm dealing with and a soupcon of empathy would have gone a long way. I will be looking for another dentist before my next cleaning.

The staff is so amazingly nice, are very accommodating for appointments - they also call you with a reminder a couple days in advance. The hygienists are great at keeping you distracted from what is going on inside your mouth while you're there, and are always a pleasure to talk to. I've had cavities filled here as well - I'd gotten them as a result of poor dentistry when I was a kid, and they coated your teeth to "protect" them, but it ended up trapping whatever was on them originally... long story short, not a great scenario. So, an hour later Jen calls and reports that FDS wouldn't offer the services I requested unless I become a patient, which means that I would essentially commute over a 100 miles for routine care!
