This is the art at our table at Raniers
    Dianna B.

My husband and I stopped in on Black Friday after visiting the Reedy Falls area. It was busy but the folks there were awesome and a seat opened up. We were seated at a table with some amazing art! After perusing the menu, we ordered a few things: Mozzarella sticks, I got tomato soup with a side of cream, and a grilled cheese with bacon sandwich. My husband got something that had horseradish sauce and beef. Everything was absolutely amazing. The flavours were delicious! Everything was fresh and flavourful. And while the tomato Soho's texture wasn't for me, the flavour was spot on! When we visit family and find ourselves in the Greenville area, we will visit again!

Rainer's was such a good experience! Service was nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean and provided a good amount of seating. The food was delish! The cheesy pizza was the best and the salad was fresh and tasty. We look forward to returning!

    Hot chicken salad

I ordered hot chicken salad, and was served about two ounces of a casserole in a 16 ounce cup. They didn't have the side dish I had ordered, so I had to substitute something else after paying. All in all, I paid $15 for something that would be considered a modest portion even if it was on a children's menu. I asked for a larger serving, and they told me what I received was normal. What a ripoff!

Excellent lunch spot with tons of salad, sandwich options and fast, friendly service. Loved my chicken salad added to the apple salad. Fresh, delicious and tasty. Friends loved the caprese and tuna salad. A great spot and highly recommend.

Excellent service, delicious food, convenient location, very friendly staff, this is my go-to place for a quick lunch whenever I am in downtown Greenville. I highly recommend this Cafe!!!

They have Beanie Weenies on the menu!

We went in the evening for music and drinks and had the best time! Small plate menu was perfect for the intimate night time venue feel.

It is found tucked behind the building with only a small, letter-sized paper sign marking the entrance. No flashy signage, no obvious storefront, which adds to the appeal if you're into that kind of hunt. Walking up to it late at night can be a little intimidating but it is well lit which I greatly appreciated! Once inside, the space is dimly lit and small, which makes for a genuinely intimate setting. I'd say it's good for a quieter, more conversational vibe rather than a loud night out. We went with the bartender's choice: pick a base liquor, then two words to describe what you're after. I went with vodka and "slightly sweet, refreshing," for $18. The bartender nailed the brief but it wasn't a drink I'd think about again or specifically order by name. Solid execution, forgettable flavor. Service was the real standout. Our bartender was excellent at walking us through the concept and translating vague requests into something that actually worked. That, plus the atmosphere, is enough to bring me back to see what else is on the menu since we made it there just in time for last call so I ended up only having one drink.

I had the Up In the Air. I'm more sensitive to sweetness than most, so even though our waiter said it wasn't particularly sweet, I asked them to cut the sweetness further and they accommodated it without issue. My friend had the Ginger's Have More Fun, made with their own house ginger liqueur instead of ginger beer. It wasn't overly syrupy, but the syrup notes were present enough to undercut what could've otherwise been a more refreshing drink. We split the Nacho Average Nachos. It was great for picking at while we chatted and had a good concept, with a solid mix of pickled toppings, rich queso, and protein, and chips that held up fine (no sogginess). The execution didn't rise above the idea. It was a fine, forgettable plate rather than a memorable one. Good portion for two, though. Overall, a nice spot for golden hour drinks if you're already in the area, but not somewhere I'd make a specific trip for.

Every element on the plate complemented the duck without overpowering it, making the whole dish feel thoughtful and balanced. The brunch portions were generous (unlike the dinner portions), and the food was actually really good. The brunch drinks were amazing as well. We also loved the beautiful spring decorations throughout the restaurant. Unfortunately, service still needs some improvement. We had the same server as our previous visit, and he wasn't very attentive. We had to repeatedly remind him about things, and when it was time for food delivery, he couldn't remember who ordered what. Ironically, the staff member bringing out the food did a much better job making sure everyone received the correct meal. One thing that was disappointing was being charged the automatic 20% gratuity for a large party, even though our group only consisted of five people, not six. Overall, there are still some areas that need work, and the elevator was out of order during this visit. However, the quality of the brunch and drinks was enough that I'll definitely be back--just for brunch. And will obviously have to request a female server when I book
