He was upfront about telling us that he couldn't assess any internal damage the last two repair companies might have made to it. But, he did tell us what he would recommend if we ever needed to replace it. Well, it worked super well for about 10 days and then simply died. So we were in touch with him again, got an installation date and time, and his team came over again. These guys really know their stuff! And, they were so professional, courteous, and made sure we knew exactly what was happening. They re-routed several things, put a breaker box by the outside unit to make it easier to access (see photo), took away a ton of unnecessary wires, hoses and foam which they consolidated into a very small space in the garage.
