I used them twice before and always thought they did a good job not really understanding the workings of a septic. As fortune would have it, I used a different service a couple of months back and discovered, to my chagrin, that Clark's "service" was in reality performing a 'disservice' to any homeowner with a septic tank. Their incomplete work could have resulted in expensive repairs at a future date. My septic, like most, has two chambers with a plastic filter in the second chamber for the dry hole leach field. In the two previous calls by Clark's service personnel, they never opened the second chamber to pump it out the second chamber nor were they able to clean the filter. Additionally, they never indicated something like that should even be done. By ignoring the second chamber, septic tanks tend to fill up faster and require service more often, and clog the filter which can result in a defective leach field requiring expensive repair or replacement of same. How do I know this? The company I used (fortunately) the last time asked where the cover was for the second chamber and if the filter had been cleaned, neither of which I knew anything about. As he dug for the second cover, it was quite obvious it had never been done before and the service tech mentioned he sees this a lot with Clark's service. Clark's Septic Tank Service not only did an incomplete job for me, but billed me for full service which I did NOT receive, twice. Would I recommend these people? In a word ... NO.

They have always solved/fixed any plumbing issue I have had and special requests they can expedite parts and scheduling. They came out promptly and finished quickly in one afternoon. The tech they sent out was great, he was informative and knowledgeable about what he was doing. After our good experience with Niemeyer we then referred them to a friend who has had them come out twice, once to install a new water heater and a second time to do a few other things as part of a remodel. Our friend was also extremely pleased with their timeframe, work quality and their competitive prices. He had previously had other companies scheduled to install his water heater who did not show up more than once, Niemeyer showed up the first time and got the job done. I was just looking them up to refer them to my sister as well who is in need of a plumber and saw their Yelp page and wanted to leave them the feedback they deserve. Good prices, fast service, good all around plumbers. I will continue to use them for any plumbing needs and continue to refer them to anyone who needs a plumber. Great experience. Needed routine pumping, they had an…read moreappointment in a couple of days. Kept me updated by text on arrival time, did a nice job with the pumping, no mess, no extra charges. E-mailed me the receipt, all electronic. Nice and friendly. I was especially happy because the tech really knew what he was doing. He advised me the previous guys were pumping from a 4" opening for clearing stoppages, but the 18" opening was a few feet away and would provide a better cleaning and remove more of the waste and sludge. He helped me locate it and I'll use that opening from now on. Regarding pricing, they provided a price upfront and notified me that they would charge extra for digging. I had installed a riser, so didn't need any digging. The riser has already paid for itself, although I'll need another one for the 18" opening. You can get one cheap online at 24HR Supply.

Butch showed up and inspected the job with his helper. They suggested a 24" riser for the system. So we talked about what's involved, and decided to go with a 24". They pumped out and prepped for the larger opening, and would return the next day with parts. Early next morning the truck was here with the parts, and Tom the General Manager was here with his employee. They installed the new riser cleaned the job site and were gone in no time. Two of my neighbors saw the truck here and later ask who was doing the work? I suggested they call Paradise Septic if you want the job done right.
