From a male's perspective they really don't have a whole lot of stores at all here. For women that have a few stores I believe there is a forever 21 maybe. if you need shoes you could come here they have a few of the typical places like finish line. generally speaking the mall usually looks pretty clean and I see security guards walking around but for the most part it usually feels like a pretty deserted shopping area. Full disclosure I have not been to a movie here, but it is really cool that they have IMAX. I think most people don't really have much of a reason to visit this mall. There's a great selection and an upgrade in quality and it's been many years since I've been back to one of their stores. They carried many brands that they didn't have before since they had a new president, such as Bebe, Lucky, Betsy Johnson, And Buckle. This is One of the largest Burkes in the Hill Country. Just so that you know, Burkes had a loyalty program where you get $5 credit after you earn 200 points. So shop away and have a great time!

The people working at the registers are often playing on their phones and not paying attention or offering assistance in any way. Once I purchased a handful of things only to realize weeks later when wrapping a gift that I was not given the clearance price as marked, and charged full price. Which I guess is partly my fault, because I must have been distracted while being rung up, but I don't work there, so it seems to me like they really should have caught it. The price was literally marked through with a pen/marker with the clearance price directly beneath it. What I really find frustrating is that they tried to charge tax when I was trying to purchase a gift card. They are attempting to take in taxes twice, which is illegal in many states. I will never purchase gift cards from them and I can't say I would recommend this store any longer because it feels like a shady business practice overall.

Both of my visits I was able to find wonderful antiques & vintage items in great condition and nicely priced. During my most recent visit an item appeared to have had the price tag removed or it had fallen off. However the helpful shop attendant contacted the owner/vendor to obtain the price and promised to text me as soon as she heard back. I left to continue shopping at another store in the area when the text promptly came through, it was in my price range so i returned to complete the purchase. I am so impressed with their customer service, prices and merchandise I will definitely be back.
