This is a sweet little gem of a boutique in downtown Temple. It's actually not little, it's a large…read moretwo store open air co-op kind of shopping experience with many little sections of clothing, baby gifts, specialty dog toys & treats, and a small airstream trailer serving delicious ice cream sandwiches and lunch. The owner is a lovely woman who has curated a fun mix of boho style clothing/fashions that has something for everyone. Upstairs are more shops and even an event space that would be super fun for a party or baby shower. It's so nice to see that this place bring some interest back to downtown. Check it out and support a local business.

The people working at the registers are often playing on their phones and not paying attention or offering assistance in any way. Once I purchased a handful of things only to realize weeks later when wrapping a gift that I was not given the clearance price as marked, and charged full price. Which I guess is partly my fault, because I must have been distracted while being rung up, but I don't work there, so it seems to me like they really should have caught it. The price was literally marked through with a pen/marker with the clearance price directly beneath it. What I really find frustrating is that they tried to charge tax when I was trying to purchase a gift card. They are attempting to take in taxes twice, which is illegal in many states. I will never purchase gift cards from them and I can't say I would recommend this store any longer because it feels like a shady business practice overall.

Woods flowers delivered a beautiful, reasonably priced fall bouquet to our family in Texas for a…read morecelebration of life. They went above and beyond to make sure the delivery went smoothly. We appreciate their dedication and highly recommend them.

I ordered the Stargazer Abound Deluxe arrangement as a recovery gift for someone hospitalized at Baylor Scott & White. Their website states that the arrangement pictured is the Standard size and that the Deluxe option includes additional flowers to enhance the bouquet. The arrangement delivered appeared significantly less full than even the Standard arrangement pictured. When I called to express my concern, I was repeatedly told that the flowers were fresh and expensive and was even told "this is not fast food." I understand that flowers are a natural product and substitutions may be necessary. I was not expecting every flower to be identical. My concern was that I paid for a Deluxe arrangement and what was delivered did not appear comparable in fullness or floral content to the Standard arrangement they advertise. I was told they could pick up the flowers and issue a refund. I specifically stated that I did NOT agree to having the flowers picked up. They had already been delivered to a hospitalized patient as a recovery gift, and I felt it would be inappropriate and embarrassing to take them away from the recipient. Despite my clearly declining that option, I later learned that the florist went to the hospital and retrieved the flowers anyway. After discovering that the flowers had been taken back, I called the business to request the refund. During that call, they hung up on me. At this point, this is no longer simply about being dissatisfied with a floral arrangement. A recovery gift was retrieved from a hospitalized recipient after I specifically said I did not agree to that resolution, and when I subsequently called regarding the refund, my call was ended by the business. What should have been a simple customer-service issue became an upsetting and embarrassing experience. I have retained photographs of the advertised Standard arrangement, the arrangement that was actually delivered, and documentation showing that I purchased the Deluxe option. I am sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision, particularly when ordering flowers for a loved one in the hospital.
