Staff was friendly and gave a helpful tutorial, answered any questions, and let you do your thing without hovering. I recommend eating beforehand and bringing water because depending on your price, you could be there for a few hours. Prices are VERY reasonable. Fused glass for four of us cost less than a hundred dollars for smaller pieces. There are many options, big and small, and can be intimidating at first but ended up being great fun. I don't recommend the fused glass for small children because you are handling small pieces of cut glass. You will need to leave your art there for a week so the staff can do the finishing then they will text/call you when it's available for pickup.

We stopped in to several shops today, one of which was Mud Pies, since everyone was insisting we go there. There was one staff member there that greeted us in a perturbed manner. The entire visit she stood behind the counter with her arms crossed and a scorned look on her face. Our entire group was made of adults. We did not touch anything while browsing so I'm not sure what the issue was. I do not recommend wasting your time trying to support this small business. There are many other businesses in Salado that are welcoming and happy to share about their products. Zero stars.
