Great little spot right off 285 to fish with your littles and have a fun time! We came and spent about 45 min caught two fish and paid 35$ all said and done. Couldn't have been happier. My kids had a great time! They also have camping available

I wish I had read the previous reviews before I booked this place. But we had already driven close to 500 miles and we were tired and just wanted a nice place to pull in and relax and sleep. And the website made it sound great. It was dark and rainy when we got here and we didn't see the entrance so drove 3-4 miles past. I called and was told to turn around and look for the turnoff right before getting back on 285. We found the entrance and drove in but nothing was marked and it was hard to see where to go. We finally figured out where to go and drove into the park looking for an office or somewhere to check in. There were old trailers along one side and lots of junk/trailers/cars on the other side. I thought we were in the wrong place. I called again and was told we were in the right place and that we could just pull up to one of the meters and park vs going to the site we had booked. We ended up staying because we were exhausted but I won't ever come back. We were charged over $50 to plug in. No bathrooms and we couldn't find the dump station. Definitely not what we thought we were getting.

simple and clean. we had a nice two night stay here. we we're out during the day so we didn't really get to experience the pond or anything busy. nights were quiet and the place is clean and looks great. they could use a bit more signage for check in, or more detail on the post booking email, but that's minor. the light post at the site was difficult as it stays on all night and shone right In the windows, wish it had an off time. based on previous reviews I was skeptical and ended up pleasantly surprised.

Couldnt have been a better morning for my nephews 8th bday

Phillip and his staff were awesome. Clean place with good location and set up. Helped us from start to finish.

Propane tank outside of camper- illegal

Would give 0 stars. Everybody thinks they're running the place, nobody is. Was told yesterday that the owner decided he didnt charge enough? Um, no. Paid in advance, cash, for a month. No paperwork, had to ask for a receipt. Left with them out even knowing. Bunch of people live there, bunch of trashy people. Zoning issues all over the place, for example- 1 full timer has a HUGE propane tank outside his bus- illegal. Have fun with these nut jobs if you choose to stay here, and dont use the porta potties, not cleaned 1 time in a month, not twice a week. What a mess!

Camping area is right next the highway, very noisy, and not expected at all based on the website.

There were four of us fishing and they provided two guides which was perfect as we had someone in our group who had never fly fished before and he was able to get more 1:1 instruction from guide Ryan. The more experienced anglers went with Joe, both guides were incredible and worked their butts off to get us on fish. We booked four hours and it was nonstop action from start to finish. I personally landed somewhere around 30 fish with some of them being serious toads, I broke my personal best several times during the day. The guides were willing to be as hands on or hands off as we wanted and provided tons of great insight and knowledge to use on future DIY trips. Having fished all over the country this was honestly the best four hours I've ever spent on the water and can't wait to make an annual trip out of it. I'm sure these guys would take care of you on a summer trip but if you get a chance to do a winter trip don't sleep on it!!

My wife and I love to explore the best fisheries in North America, and one of our bucket list…read morewishes was to experience the thrill of trophy fishing for lake trout in The Rockies of Colorado. I researched the guide networks extensively before finding Will Dykstra at Tightline Outdoors, and last week we spent two days with Will on Spinney Mountain Reservoir. We picked a couple of days with challenging fishing weather, as there was a high pressure system over the The Rockies, and the skies were sunny and the water dead-flat. Challenging conditions for most fishing guides, but not for Will. His extensive knowledge of this fishing habitat had my wife and I landing monster rainbow trout within ten minutes on the water. I am not talking about the sedate 12-14" variety we catch in our Northern New Mexico backyard. These monsters that Will put us onto were 18"-25" fighters that literally took our breath away. Will is an extraordinary guide, and he knows his fisheries so well that we learned an incredible amount about high elevation fishing from him. His 21' Lund Explorer is extremely comfortable, and has all of the best marine electronics and fishing equipment. We had a fabulous two days with Will, and I could not recommend him more highly as not only a world-class fishing guide, but as a really class human being. We hope to make a pilgrimage to Colorado every year for a high-country fishing experience, and Will is the only person that we will call to help us explore its beautiful mountain fishing habitats. what an amazing group of people. Over the last couple years I've had the opportunity to participate…read morein some of tightlines fishing tournaments and now with a guided trip. Nate even held a "garage sale" of sorts a couple years back where he unloaded a bunch of fishing gear that he legit could have made a fortune off of, but instead chose to sell it for pennies on the dollar because he honestly cares about the fishing community and wants people out on the water. ANYWAYS I contacted tight line about a guided ice fishing trip and Dustin responded. He asked me what I had in mind. I told him I was trying to figure out walleye on a certain body of water. He said that wouldnt be a problem. He contacted me the day before the trip to let me know he was out scouting, Time I wasn't paying him for mind you. He said he marked several fish and didn't even fish them so as not to pressure them. Talk about discipline. When we arrived he was ready to go and we embarked on our quest to catch some walleye. Dustin put us right on the fish and explained that we had to be very specific in our presentation to entice a bite. Took me awhile but after his coaching I was pulling them them up. If they weren't biting Dustin was quick to hand you another rod with another setup to see if that would do the trick. He was especially patient and helpful to my girlfriend who is very very new to ice fishing. He answered my 2 million questions without hesitation and offered up more intel. Bottom line dude was the cats pajamas. Professional, knowledgeable, relatable, Walleye guru. Would recommend this company 1000 times over. Can't wait to get out with them again.
