I can't believe this disc golf course has not been reviewed at Yelp yet. This is by far the best, most beautiful and most difficult disc golf course anywhere near Denver!!! The course is absolutely stunning, it starts out with a 1/2 mile walk to the first hole, don't let this dissuade you from going, you will be very happy you made the trek. The first three holes are going up the mountain and typically are the hardest holes on the course. That being said, the course has three different basket locations and if the baskets are in back it's going to be a tough day so deal with it!! As you wind your way around the majestic mountains and valleys of the course you will definitely be able to get a workout, and also will be able to see some amazing views, as well as, possibly some of the wildlife Colorado has to offer. The course is laid out very nicely with elevation changes and scenic overlooks. The course is also conducive for someone that has never played here with signs on where to throw and benches at almost every hole. I have played here around 20 times and every time has been an adventure. You can score really well if you are on your game or you can suck it up but enjoy the beautiful nature while doing it. I highly recommend anyone that wants a nice day trip to the mountains to hit this course up, you won't be disappointed!!

They say top ten frisbee golf courses in the world. Until I try the other 9 this is absolutely my 1. Lots of elevation. Fun times and people all around. Only wish I would have brought a cooler of beverages to keep the chill party going.

When you plan to go hike at El Dorado canyon, but day drink know instead, come to play disc golf. It's a two for one. You play and hike up trails to each course. There are different discs to use during the game. This was so much fun!! You each have a disc to throw at a chain net that is pretty far from each starting point. Where ever the disc lands after throwing you walk to that point and throw from there until you finally make it in the net. Tiring as heck, but it's a lot of good exercise and a good time. I would recommend coming here for a good time. We packed a couple beers in our bags to enjoy as we played. Lots of people playing the course while we were there, so we would let the pros play through and we'd go after. My buddy sad this was one of the nicer disc golf courses.

Best course in the state of Colorado? Hell yes! Amazing in every way if you ask me. Lots of elevation changes, mixed with lots of trees. Its a tight fight with a short stick on a few holes but it also opens up too. This course includes... Cement tee pads Well made benches on most if not all holes Lots of trash and recycling bins Disc store at hole 1 A very nice and informative park ranger I should mention Conifer is a great little mountain town Bbq pit (although I'd ask the park ranger before using it) he's always around And a sweet putting game after you finish the course if you still need a putting fix Get there!

Beaver Ranch hole 13 is uber frustrating.

You will find four to six beers on tap as well as various tall boys from all over. They also routinely have disk golf tournaments on TV but will put on big baseball, football, or hockey games on as necessary too. A large amount of disks are available as well as a large number of disk bags. Plenty of shirts, hats, and assorted disk golf accessories. Even some discontinued or older miscellaneous disks you can grab for $5-10 if you don't want to venture into $25-40 territory. Not to mention the Another Round staff on hand that can give you game tips as well as point you to other nearby disk golf courses. A nearby course? Johnny Roberts / Wolf Creek is right around the corner. Grab a beer. Play some golf. Not a bad location for both. Even if you just want to hang out and talk shop. You'll find a few other disk golf stores in the local area but it really seems that Another Round is doing it best. They also have small buy in tournaments or challenges as well as larger events here. Be sure to peep their social media or stop into either location for specifics on that. Not a bad spot to pick up a few new disks or try your hand at frisbee golf. They also have a rewards program that works between stores to save you some coin.

Awesome course. Great fun!…read more Average score for course is set to ~54 pts. Open, spacey, and not too many water hazards. No trees, meaning no natural shade. But there are gazebos and an outhouse. A bit of construction at the moment, dunno what they're doing. The biggest hole distance are on holes 9, 11, and 16 averaging about 430ft. Be on the look out for bikers and hikers tho. And for this wonderful log!

It's a a nice course. A lot of though has gone into the tee pads areas. There's a place to scrape the mud off your shoes (although there was no mud when I played), trash cans, even a separate trash can for recycling, a sign post with hole information, and very nice sized concrete tee pads. Some holes even had big logs to sit on while you wait to let your plastic fly. I'd say Village Greens has the best tee pad area of any disc golf course I've ever played. It's a fairly logical course to navigate. I think it would be nice if they had arrows directing you to the next hole. Be sure and download UDisc so you can navigate. The holes aren't very technical. It would be a good place to take someone who has never played. I'm a very average player with low arm speed and I can easily par every hole. A really good player would get lots of birdies and maybe an ace once in a while. That being said, it gets really windy in the afternoon. So much so that your 20-foot putt will catch air and go off 75 feet in the opposite direction. Not too many pars for me on the windy days. Even in the mornings, there's a slight breeze, but not enough to really mess up your game. A couple of holes are near high grass and willows. Be careful there or you might lose your disc in the high grass. Other than that, it's pretty wide open, and finding your discs isn't much of a problem. The tee pads are great. Plenty wide and plenty of room to make your run-up. The baskets are also in good shape and have flags on them to help determine what the wind is doing. It can get really crowded and the play can be slow because it's a decent course and it's beginner-friendly. I'd suggest playing early in the morning if you want less wind and less waiting to throw. I arrived at 7:30 am on a Saturday and was able to play quickly. A couple of people let me play through which is super cool. By 9:00 am when I was done, it was packed and several large groups were waiting to play. Again, that's a Saturday, but even on a weekday afternoon, it can be fairly crowded. Another big plus about this course is there were no prairie dog holes and no geese. Other DG courses in the area have either tons of prairie dog holes, or geese droppings, or both. I experienced none of that at Village Green. This is a really nice park. There's a restroom near holes 9 and 18 and also an area with covered tables. There's also an area for mountain bikers and some soccer fields that are part of the park. Parking is ample and easy. I really applaud whoever designed this park, and also the people who do such a terrific job maintaining it.

The set up is great and open, and all ages can benefit. Basically think of this as equivalent to ski runs, where you bike along the trails and follow the guide markers based on your ability: green for novices/rookies; blue for intermediates; black for experts. There's a Prairie Loop for more gradual descents and climbs, and a Hill Loop for more extreme inclines and downhills. Each trail is a loose dirt path with various terrains and obstacles interspersed throughout. But don't freak out! You can always bike around them if you haven't the stomach or the skill to take it on. Additionally, the Cherry Creek Dam paved trail runs alongside most of the trails, so you can always divert easily back onto a more beaten path if you're done in. The trails are also one-directional, so you won't have to deal with oncoming cyclists to avoid collision. There were tons of ages represented by what I saw in our excursion: younger kids on their bikes, expert mountain cyclist testing out the grounds, and I felt comfortable learning the ropes in that setting. Get out there and get dirty!
