Don't be fooled by the website - you do not have to get walked on. Unfortunately the front desk staff were rude, disinterested and almost hateful before and after the massage. They'd get at most. The outside of the building/location was a little off putting but the inside is nice and very clean. We went in a friends recommendation and would definitely go back to get massages from Lily but if not for her the front desk staff would make me want to go somewhere else.

Booking was very easy on their website and I like how they give detailed descriptions of their services. For my appointment, I was greeted by Yelena who asked me to fill out a questionnaire while she prepped the room. The place is decorated so nicely and it's super clean! She led me to the room which is cozy and inviting and did not feel like a doctors office. Yelena is so friendly and knowledgeable, I felt comfortable with her right away. The table that I was on was amazing too, I nodded off a few times because it felt just like a bed! My facial and back microdermabrasion were amazing and my eyebrows are on fleek! I loved my time there so much, I booked for another service for the following weekend. Definitely give this place a try and pamper yourself!

She was amazing!!! She made me feel at ease as I made a big change to my hair, explaining every step and answering my questions along the way! I absolutely recommend her, as I will definitely book with her again in the future! We had the best conversations, and she gave me my dream hair! The salon was so fun overall. It seemed like they had a lot of cool stuff going on. This time, as I entered, I saw they had an event for permanent jewelry, and I'm still upset I didn't get one! But the place was nice, bright, and clean. They also offered complimentary drinks like dirty sodas, which I gladly accepted! I also learned they had a bunch of other services besides just hair care! Also, the pricing was honestly the best I've seen in the area for good-quality service and a colorist who knew what they were doing! I felt so pampered and taken care of here; I could tell many of the other customers around me were repeat clients, which is always a great sign! If you're looking for blonding, absolutely book with Brianna Tolle. I know I will again in the future!

I saw Kaycee for a haircut and even though my timing was bad and I was a few minutes late, she was incredibly understanding and gracious in starting our appointment. By communicating to her what my hair goals were, she took what I had said and discussed what would work best for my hair, I felt heard and trusted that her styling would prove great results. All throughout the treatment she provided tips for styling, recommendations for hair care, and was incredibly kind to speak to. Not only was my cut amazing, but the amenities and atmosphere at Mogano is incredible. Being offered coffee before my appointment and the new client bag I received after made me so grateful for this experience! Thank you Mogano!

This review is specifically about my experience as a trans femme here. I was unsure about coming…read morehere initially, after reading about places like Olympus Spa denying entrance to transgender women. I dress and present feminine, but am visibly AMAB. When I came in with my friend, who is a cis woman, they gave us both the pink sets of clothes and directed us to the womens side without asking or saying a word. Nobody bothered me while i was in the womens locker room and soaking pools, and everyone i encountered was friendly or neutral. The sauna and soaking tubs were wonderful, and overall, this was a great experience.

Visited on a Monday morning with my mom, just for a day pass (no treatments like body scrub or…read moremassage). We didn't know what to expect because of all the recent mixed reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by our experience. My key takeaway is: This is a decent spa, as long as you don't look too closely! We started in the jjimjilbang and tried out the clay, salt and ice rooms. We had the place to ourselves! The rest area outside of the rooms is a bit dilapidated (reclining beds that didn't seem to function anymore - can't change the position to sitting up or lying down, and we couldn't figure out how to turn out the overhead lighting so we could read), but fine. Then we moved to the private salt room that's only available via the women's locker (smaller room, but seems more recently renovated and a bit cleaner). We followed this up with the women's only steam sauna (very spacious), dry sauna (three levels!) and the hot tub. The "cool" pool was essential for cooling down in between the sauna and the hot tub. The "warm" pool seemed a bit too hot - and not all that different in temperature from the "hot" pool. The spa was very peaceful, and we only crossed paths with a handful of other patrons during our 3.5 hours there. The shower facilities are decent, and the provided shampoo, conditioner and bar soap is fine! Generally, if you look closely, you can see ways the facilities are in need of improvement (peeling paint on the ceiling, rusting fixtures, missing bricks) but our experience overall was decent. It's $45 to enter for the day, but if you buy passes for 10 sessions, the cost reduces to $35 ($350 for 10 passes). My mom noted that the experience helped with her joint pain, so there are certainly therapeutic benefits! Overall, not the best Korean spa I've ever been to, but good enough for me to come back when I'm in town. Also: The woman who works at the front desk is super friendly!

I went here the first time with a groupon with a friend for a facial.. Heavenly. It was my first one and she explained everything and answered all of my 10000 questions. Haha But the real reason I'm writing this review is because I went in for my FIRST bikini wax. I was so nervous and she put my nerves to rest right away. She explained everything to me as we were going and why she was doing it that way. We even had some 'complications' with the wax because I was sweating and she even made THAT as painless as it could be haha. Seriously, the only pain was from that small part. I am so glad that I came here for my first real waxing experience. 10/10 would (and will!) recommend to my friends and family. Ps. Price is also very reasonable, no more than a nail salon that has questionable hygiene/training.. Plus they have a LOT more services. Check them out!!
