My husband and I did the couple massage. It was a combination of both body and foot massages. They also did hot stone massage in between. The pressure was just right. They ask you anyway if you want more pressure or not. The massage was an hour long and if you look at the prices at their website, you can tell it was a very good deal. My mom and SIL did the combo massage (hour-long foot and body massage combo). They loved it! The place is just small but they have individual stalls and for couples, they have private rooms. From now on, I will be coming back here at least once a month to relieve my back pain.

My strategy: Steam room 10 to 15 mins, shower/rinse off, cold pool, hot pool, cold pool again, REPEAT. The employees were extremely welcoming and friendly especially considering this was my first time. I was provided with super clean white towels, a locker key, and a change of spa clothes for accessing co-ed areas of the Spa. The steam room, sauna, and soaking pools are gender segregated. I was told not to wear a bathing suit, but some others were wearing them. Even though the Spa seems to strongly encourage nudity, it is not absolutely required. Bathing suit or not, you're required to take a cleansing shower prior to accessing the pools. The restaurant closed early, so I unfortunately missed out on trying the wild foraged mushroom soup. Homemade borscht is also a thing to try. Overall, the place could probably use a remodel, but for the price and everything you get, it's really an amazing value. I will definitely be back!

We didn't know what to expect because of all the recent mixed reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by our experience. My key takeaway is: This is a decent spa, as long as you don't look too closely! We started in the jjimjilbang and tried out the clay, salt and ice rooms. We had the place to ourselves! The rest area outside of the rooms is a bit dilapidated (reclining beds that didn't seem to function anymore - can't change the position to sitting up or lying down, and we couldn't figure out how to turn out the overhead lighting so we could read), but fine. Then we moved to the private salt room that's only available via the women's locker (smaller room, but seems more recently renovated and a bit cleaner). We followed this up with the women's only steam sauna (very spacious), dry sauna (three levels!) and the hot tub. The "cool" pool was essential for cooling down in between the sauna and the hot tub. The "warm" pool seemed a bit too hot - and not all that different in temperature from the "hot" pool. The spa was very peaceful, and we only crossed paths with a handful of other patrons during our 3.5 hours there. The shower facilities are decent, and the provided shampoo, conditioner and bar soap is fine! Generally, if you look closely, you can see ways the facilities are in need of improvement (peeling paint on the ceiling, rusting fixtures, missing bricks) but our experience overall was decent. It's $45 to enter for the day, but if you buy passes for 10 sessions, the cost reduces to $35 ($350 for 10 passes). My mom noted that the experience helped with her joint pain, so there are certainly therapeutic benefits! Overall, not the best Korean spa I've ever been to, but good enough for me to come back when I'm in town. Also: The woman who works at the front desk is super friendly!

A cabin room that is 60°. A lounge area with couches and oversized chairs to relax and read or take a nap. A large room that is dark and has a lit up wall of Himalayan sea salt. The floors are granite and heated. There are showers that include shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. One of my favorite things are a trough of mugwort tea that you can ladle all over yourself. Smells so good! You can pay $11 extra to have unlimited tea. The Tea Room has 2 hot and 1 cold. When you purchased the Tea Room, you also get a biscotti. The locker room has several amenities that you would need to get ready after a day at the spa. Hair dryers, combs, toothpaste, three different types of lotion and Q-tips. There are also water stations to refill your water bottle during your stay. They are a full service spa so you can pay for extra services like massage, facial body, scrubs, and body wraps. If you've never had a Korean body scrub, you haven't had a body scrub. They also have a Korean restaurant on site that has about six or seven tables that seat four. So on a busy day, you may have to wait a little bit, but the food is pretty good. Is it worth a drive?...yes!
