Here's the move... show up early (at least 30 minutes) before your appointment. Head straight to the wet room, shower off, and sink into the hot tub to soak first. This is not optional in my opinion... it primes your skin and makes the scrub about 10x more effective. There's a cold tub, too, if you're into contrast baths. When my service lady (Sunni) called me for the scrub, I was already loose and ready. She went to WORK with those scrub mitts and honestly the amount of dead skin that came off was both alarming and deeply satisfying. Smooth and polished is an understatement. My skin had a whole glow-up right there on that mat. Shower off again, back to the mat, and then the oil massage. I asked for firm pressure and she delivered exactly that. No guessing, no awkwardness. You just tell them what you want and they handle it. She also did a facial and washed my hair. Included in the cost. Fabulous! After I was done, I had full access to their sauna rooms and the sleep room, but the clay ball room is where I ended up today. You literally lie down on warm clay balls in a heated room and just... sink in. Feels healing in a way that's hard to describe. Like the earth itself is giving you a hug.
