Booking: Scottie Paws recently launched online booking! It's been super easy to get an appointment. I've never had a big problem squeezing my little guy in for a grooming appointment. Cleanliness & Ambience: I always thought their location was nice and clean, but their renovation has been great too. You can see the grooming table and I often see them grooming dogs and cats. How are they with pets? These ladies are amazing with my dog! Every single time they greet my dog with a lot of love. They have gotten used to his personality. Since my dog is really shy and scared of other dogs, they know to keep him separate from other dogs. If your dog is friendly and likes other dogs, I'll often see them walking around freely. Grooming: I find that grooming here is reasonably priced for the high quality that I get. My dog gets a bath, shave, cut, nail trim, and ear trim always. He looks really handsome afterwards and my vet always raves about how amazing a job they do on my dog's ear hair. I've also paid for teeth brushing when I'm having a hard time with my dog, and they do such a good job. Parking: There is free parking in the space outside their location, as it's a little strip mall near Tamiami Park & Expo Center.

Minor friction rubs can happen in boarding environments, but transparency and attentive supervision are baseline expectations. Staff never mentioned the issue at pickup. When I reached out via email asking if staff had noticed it during his stay and requested care/incident notes, management repeatedly evaded those direct questions. Instead, they sent canned boilerplate text about chronic elbow calluses and deflected responsibility. If a facility cannot tell an owner whether a physical change was documented over a 17-day stay, it signals either inadequate daily supervision or a culture of avoiding open communication out of liability defensiveness. Trust is critical when leaving a pet for an extended period, and the lack of proactive care and accountability here means we will not be returning.

Instead, we watched through the live suite camera as our dogs were fed breakfast while there was still feces and what appeared to be urine in their suite. The attached screenshots show the waste remained in the room from 7:43 AM until at least 8:28 AM, and the suite wasn't cleaned until later that morning. Obviously my dogs will not eat if their food is right next to feces or urine. And they did not even send a message of them not touching the food... Feeding dogs in a soiled suite is a basic sanitation issue and completely unacceptable for a facility that markets itself as a luxury pet resort with 24-hour staff and daily housekeeping. We ended the stay early because we no longer felt comfortable leaving our dogs there. Although they refunded the unused nights, no one apologized for what we witnessed. We were even charged for baths, yet our dogs came home still smelling dirty. We paid thousands of dollars expecting exceptional care. Unfortunately, this was not our experience.

Roxy is a senior dog (12 years to be exact) and Roxy comes home with more energy after spending time at Daisy's house. Daisy is great with animals, she trains them while they are there and gives them a lot of love. I have left Roxy with Daisy for up to two weeks and Roxy comes back as if she is the one that has been on vacation. :) Daisy even buys the kinds of toys Roxy likes to play with and sits with Roxy while she eats (Roxy only eats when she has company around lol) While I am away Daisy sends pics and is always available by phone or text to provide a daily update. Old review below; Only downside is their drop-off hours. 8am is too late for someone like me who has to be at work by 7am, 745 at the latest. Seems to be a Miami thing, because Miami doesn't function till 8am, if you're lucky. I know I could be accommodated because they have employees there taking care of the overnight dogs and cats. Because of that I'm not a weekly visitor and I have to board my dog elsewhere at a facility that doesn't compare to the clean and spacious Woodland Pet Lodge. I love their personalized report cards and ability to access all my pets information online. I have peace of mind knowing I can log onto the webcams and check in on my loved one. This place is ghetto and ridiculous Negative stars if I could. The most unprofessional human or animal facility I have ever encountered in my entire life. Before I go, I call the facility like a normal person to confirm I can come after my regular vet refers me to do an endoscopy. The receptionist tells me they dont offer it lol. They call me back 10 min later to apologize and say its her first day. They they proceed to call me 3x over the next hour to cancel and reschedule my appt twice . I finally confirm for 2 days later. They tell me I can drop my dog off at 9 am and pick him up later. I waste an entire hour bc the receptionist couldn't email my previous vet to have the xrays sent over. I leave and tell them to send me everything over email. The same girl tells me I need to drive an hour back from Southbeach because now they have an estimate and need me to sign. EVEN when I asked to do that before I left. They wouldnt even give me a QUOTE on the surgery cost before I paid for xrays we already had. I then go to ask for my dog back to take him to a real care facility. The Clinic. Manager is then baffled im not okay with paying people $6,000 to take care of me dog when they cant even send an email or transfer a phone call without hanging up. BTW this was my first time there.
