I had been on the market for a Jeep Wrangler for about six weeks and during that time had interactions with lots of dealers throughout a 100-mile radius of New Orleans. These interactions ranged from VERY poor to Just OK. Until I found Rainbow in McComb. I reached out to them via the internet and after a very brief negotiation with Dana, the Sales Manager, quickly agreed on a VERY fair sales price. I then worked with John in Sales to get the necessary paperwork together and by the time I arrived at the dealership from New Orleans about three hours later, everything was ready. I met with the staff for about 30 minutes despite arriving after closing time, inspected the car, signed the paperwork, and then was out the door with everything I wanted. And to put the icing on the cake, I've received a text, email, and phone call from the staff since then to ensure that I was happy (and I definitely am)!. I can't recommend them enough. You really couldn't have asked for much more out of this transaction! read more

I would not recommend Rainbow based on my experience. I purchased a Jeep on June 1, and within hours, the tire-pressure warning light came on, followed by the check-engine light later that night. Within days, the Jeep began jerking while driving. I immediately reported the problems and repeatedly returned to the dealership. I was told an engine part had been ordered, but later, when we checked the vehicle, there was no record showing that the part had been installed. A diagnostic scan eventually showed an engine misfire, and the dealership later stated that the Jeep needed a new engine. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication and follow-through. The vehicle remained at the dealership for an extended period, yet we repeatedly had to contact them for updates. Management initially indicated that I should not have to pay for the engine because the problem existed from the time of purchase, but later changed its position and said I was responsible. The dealership also later claimed the vehicle was sold "as is," despite that not being disclosed to us at the time of purchase and the document presented later not being part of our original paperwork or signed by us. The dealership's handling of the vehicle and communication with the lender also contributed to additional financial and credit concerns. Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing. I expected transparency, communication, and accountability after purchasing a vehicle, but unfortunately, that has not been my experience with Rainbow. read more

My name is Maceo Hogue. I did a review on January 15, 2026. My 2014 Dodge RAM has been at the dealership since October for repairs. the day after I made this post, I was contacted by the dealership and was told the repairs would be finished by the end of January and that I was #2 on the board. It is now almost the end of February, and I guess I am still #2 on the board. The only other contact that has been made is when they came to swap the loaner vehicle out. I am still making payments, but I want MY TRUCK!! No one and I mean NO ONE has been in contact with me on the progress of my repairs. If I go to dealership and express my feelings on the situation, they tell me, "Well you have a vehicle to drive". That's not the point. I feel as if I'm throwing my money away because I cannot enjoy my own vehicle. In addition, I was told by the dealership if I go over 100 miles to let them know because they would shut the vehicle off if I did. PLEASE FIX MY VEHICLE OR SWAP ME OUT FOR ANOTHER ONE. Rainbow Dodge has dropped the ball on this situation. Please think twice before purchasing a vehicle from this location. Signed A discouraged and disappointed customer!!!!! This rating is too high for the service at Covington facility. The worst I've ever had during the 60 yrs of owning a vehicle. after being lied to and ignored I had to go get my truck to have fixed somewhere else. Never going back. David read more

John Bates is the best sales person to deal with! We go in there to just look around, knowing our Tahoe wasn't going to take many more road trips. Mr Bates came to check on us, find out everything we want and need, and found me a low mileage beautiful newer truck!!!!!! He goes above and beyond and makes sure you get the best deal that doesn't kill your bank account! read more

While I like this dealership and the people are friendly, some work must be done regarding answering the phone in the service area. I understand they are busy, but how about getting a remote phone for people who have to leave the desk? Also how about assigning someone to answer during the noon lunch hour when many folks who work during the day have to make calls? It would also be great if when a person leaves a message, that person could get an actual call-back the same day? I have learned my lesson about that...meaning, I do not leave messages any more. I have left several in the past, and have never received a call back the same day. Most of the time it is two or three days later or not at all. I will still do business there because I prefer their vehicles, I just think telephone customer service in the service department should be improved. Thanks. read more

I drove all the way out to McComb, MS to Test drive a 2019 vehicle I had my eyes on. It was towards the end of the day. I was supposed to hear back from the sales rep the next day to see how the paperwork went. (due to it being later on in the day, he told me that most of the banks were closed and that he would give me a call FIRST thing the next day.) That's been about (2) weeks ago, and no word from anyone. I am No longer interested in a vehicle and I am not recommending this dealership to any of my friends and family. Will NOT be returning here. I gave (1) star because I can not give a (0) star. read more

Salesmanship, and professional service from the moment you walk in the door. I dealt with Mr. Ratcliff who sold me a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. He answered all my questions, the finance department was great and the service department was there for me later after the purchase to answer questions I had. I would purchase another vehicle from here. read more
