I was completely spoiled by the amazing service I received here!!…read more I originally called due to some issues with my generator. Late at night my generator wouldn't start and I was unable to charge my house batteries. In the morning, I started calling looking for assistance. RV Solutions was the only place to answer. I was told that they would be able to send Bryce to come look at it. Bryce arrived and was very professional and knowledgeable. He did everything he could to get the generator running but it was throwing some type of code. He assisted to getting my class C plugged into an external plug for the house (which I hadn't done before) and told me to call back to the shop to schedule a day to remove the generator so they could fix and then re-install it. Before leaving he even killed a giant wasp after I screamed and backward ran across the driveway into him. When I called to schedule the appointment, they completely worked to accommodate my schedule. The day of, my engine wouldn't start. I tried to jump start it but was not successful. I called the shop to tell them I would be late and ask for any suggestions on what to do. I got to talk to Bryce and he told me what kind of jump box I needed and what size jumper cables I needed. Once I picked them up, I was able to start the engine and head to the shop. I work overnights and was at the shop during my typical naptime. They were very accommodating to allow me to sleep in my rig while the generator was removed. They even took a look at my battery with the issues I had that morning. I'm not sure how long the removal took but when I arrived I told Teia what time I would sleep until and it was done by the time I woke up. When I returned for my scheduled appointment to reinstalled my generator, we discovered roof damage. When I was being directed to drive in reverse (where I was staying in Covington not at RV Solutions), a basketball hoop scrapped my roof. From the side, it looked like minor damage but once Caleb was up on my roof, it was obvious that this was a big deal. With rain predicted that weekend and me being a full-time turtle, RV Solutions knew it would cause more damage for me to be out in the open, so they allowed me to mooch dock where my roof would be covered and I was hooked up so that I could enjoy air conditioning in the humid Louisiana air. Getting approval from my insurance took longer than expected but I NEVER felt like I was unwelcomed here. Everyday, they were happy to give me rides to the gym and insisted on picking me up. It didn't matter if I wanted to get ice cream after a workout or needed to go to Office Depot to print, they were happy to help me. Late one night while I was there, I heard a noise. I text Teia and within less than 10mins, Bryce was there to walk the lot, ensuring all doors were locked and that I was safe. Once we had the approval from insurance and I had a proposed date that I needed to leave, they rush to get my roof completed so I could get to KY on time. Teia even followed me on Waze to ensure I arrived safely. I have never heard of a service place providing NEARLY the level of customer service that RV Solutions did for me and they have definitely set a high standard for any place I visit in the future.

After close to a $4000 charge on other fixes, they have done The battery had exploded. They replaced it with another battery and charge me An additional $75 for labor on the battery when I was standing there all the time the unit had should have beenchecked prior to pick up , And someone should have noticed that something was wrong with the system before I picked up this unit ! and sent me on my way. Luckily it was a back up battery because they wired it backwards and it almost exploded after the first one exploded! When I got it home and plugged it in all monitors were down and not working when I called a friend of mine as a technician, he said it sounds like a ground issue which made me look and that's what I noticed the battery was incorrectly wired!! You gotta be careful they tend to only do what they have to do and they seem to be a little bit belligerent and even hostile,, If you have to use them really check everything they're capable of doing good work, but they also have moments of lackadaisical unconsciousness, and they tend to be overly pricy , after $4000, and the fact that it should've been ready for pick up it would've been a good thing to do the battery at cost labor for free and have a correctly wiring and I would not be at today disputing the charge and writing a bad review!! I hope somebody could see this and not make the same mistake that I have. If you use them check check and check again.

I take care of my mother-in-law since my wife passed away and she lives in this motor home. I called around and unfortunately found Matt with the gift of gab. He told me horror stories about bad work done by other RV repairmen as well as his good work. First of all, he did not finish the job he was paid in full $1573.49 and tipped $200. I have had to order the final part [the front door to the heater]he said he had but failed to deliver it. This job was performed on Oct.10, 2022, I gave him a deadline of Jan 31, 2023, to deliver the door. Second, I've had to pay another mechanic to come out and repair the electrical system that Matt cut into causing a short and killing the engine batteries. As bad as all that is, please let me continue. Matt said the job was to be 2 to 3 hours max. Having problems wiring the unit it went 3 to 4 to 5 to 6 hours. I could see he was unraveling and told him to come back with a fresh mind. He agreed and said he would wire the unit so it had hot water that night for my mother-in-law. Well, he did not tell me he had bypassed the thermostat and wired it directly to the heating elements. There was hot water, then the blowout valve started blowing out and continued all night till I got the early morning call from mom. The extension cord he used had melted. I disconnected it. There was also a water leak behind the heater. When he arrived that morning he had to replace the melted water line ends. It seemed like he was going to come thru for us when things started to look right, then I gave him the tip for all the extra time. My mistake. I missed a red flag when I didn't see his name on his business card. He says he is from Folsom, La.

Many of them sound very reasonable over the phone, but when talks continued and details are revealed the information that started out was slightly deceptive. I didn't expect anything different from Miller's RV, but the salesman Trey sounded very honest and accommodating, so discussions continued. Several dealers had the unit I wanted, a Thor Scope 18ZS but there were always "add on's" and surprise fees as I got closer to a deal. With Miller's RV the discussion never changed. What they listed was what you got. That settled it for me. I traveled 1200 miles to make the deal. Being so far from home, I was a little nervous as I had committed myself and was at their mercy. When I got to Miller's the experience could not have gone better. The unit was clean, prepped and ready and their shop guy Pete was down to earth and explained every detail about the unit systems and maintenance etc. He was a wealth of knowledge. Best of all, during this whole process there were zero surprises! They went out of their way to make things easy and pleasant. They even surprised me with a $100 store credit after all was done so I could have supplies and anything I needed for my ride home. Miller's RV is a class operation.
