Prices were on point for a food truck - around $8-9 for most entries. Too bad the woman taking the orders had such a sh-tty attitude. Talk about a grumpasaurus. Jeez. First of all my ceremony was at 3:00 pm, they arrived at 1:00, which was fine. They knew beforehand that the venue didn't have a kitchen, so I was expecting burners to be brought to keep the food warm. NOPE! They began setting the salad portion of the dinner at 1:00!!! At some point they plated all the food and left. I chose a "private chef", so I wouldn't have to get each guests option of chicken or beef. So while I was getting dressed my wedding coordinator had to ask each guest what they wanted. NOT OKAY! This couple plated everything and left in a blacked out old Tahoe or Yukon!! By the time we sat to eat, EVERYTHING was COLD! The stuffed chicken was thick and dry, the beef was chewy and ALL the sides were COLD. I was very disappointed and so were my guest. Not one person did not complain about the food. I spent $1,000 + on food for 15 people and they couldn't even do that right. No compensation has been offered at this point. And all the caterer cares about is a funky charcuterie board that is missing. So, NO I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone, not even a enemy who is getting married or having a party where a caterer is needed. If I could give negative stars I would. The only items that were good were the fruit charcuterie boards, because they were supposed to be cold. I believe I need a refund for all the food I paid for other than the 3 charcuterie boards.

After speaking with a very helpful Julia by phone, we arranged a meeting during our next trip to Winston-Salem to try a few dishes and appetizers and hear some of her suggestions (very helpful). I felt very comfortable about the quality of food and the level of service from CFC. In the following months, Julia was responsive to my questions, and graciously arranged a follow-up meeting in March to answer (more!) questions, and to introduce us to Julie, who would be our day-of contact and coordinator. CFC has a good working relationship with Hauser Rentals, and it was extraordinarily helpful for me that they coordinated with them for rentals after I selected specific linens, chairs, etc. The food and appetizers at the wedding were great - exactly what we wanted.
