Went to rainbow car wash.in Brighton Usually go there with no problems. This time the whole front and back of my car is dirty. read more

Reasonable price, towel wipe down upon exit. Four stars because several times since the beginning of this year (2026), they have been closed in the middle of the day (2:00 pm - 5:00). read more

With the increase of car washes in Brighton, Rainbow has always been reliable and well-priced! Love that the attendants hand-dry my vehicle after going through the wash. read more

Went there a few days ago. Used one of their vacuums and selected the turbo setting. It was anything but turbo. I would say the vacuum sucked but it was just the opposite. When I mentioned it to the young man who was collecting money all he said was "sorry". Then he told me their foam brush wasn't working so the only wash option was the basic wash. The wash was as bad as the vacuum. Very little soap during the wash cycle. My car didn't look like it just went through a car wash. I will never use this car wash again! read more

other car washes are taken away your business because your tunnel is broken brushes are hydraulics are not working. There's mold everywhere. Not good for your employees. The kids work very hard. They could be making a lot more tips if the owner would step up and either close it down or do the repairs needed? I'm tired of going to the brushes are dragging along my vehicle or they're not working at all. I don't see where you can charge for that kind of and still be open. read more

It was 6 degrees today, and my car was covered in ice and snow. The young men at the car wash took the extra time to make sure my car was showroom clean. Despite the freezing weather. I certainly hope this reaches the owners and they recognize the contribution these employees are making. As a business owner myself, I know the value of good people. read more

Rainbow Autowash - Clean as a whistle - Car Wash Near Me - Brighton, Michigan

I know you hate your job but that's not my fault. 11:45 June 18th smacked my windshield with the brush and spidered a windshield chip because he "#%€£¥&$ hates the big spray nozzle". Yep his words. I know good help is hard to find but there are better choices. John try some else. As a business you need to consider. I'll make the drive down the street. read more

I feel like when I got there the young men are working really hard. They wear masks, even the ones who have no customer contact and I think that is awesome. It's great that they scrub your car at the entrance, you run through the wash, then get a towel dry at the end. It gives me a (nearly) spot free wash. Hence the 4 stars. But you know what, I'm happy with it. It saves me the time and effort of having to hand wash my car. read more

To the store manager at rainbow wash I have been a longtime customer of rainbow wash, and today I had ample amount of soap left on my vehicle. I was told to bring it back through for a rewash which I did. When I return from my rewash, the young man said to me and I quote : dude are you going to pay me again , this has been the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I will never be back read more

I go to Rainbow at least once a week, I've always had new Mustangs and I've never had a problem with them. My car is always clean and they dry it at the end. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I get scolded by teen if I don't get tire in exact position to be in track for being pulled. Extra rude today. Going to new car wash down road next time. read more

if I could put zero stars I could. I drive a 1990 ford f250 with a factory visor. I did not put this on my truck. i pulled up and paid and nobody told me my visor was wrong. they have a sign that states they are not responsible for aftermarket sun visors which I don't have, but long story short my visor got ripped off and it smashed my roof. the manager told me my truck was worthless and he would never compensate me for my 300 dollar factory visor or my destroyed roof. read more

Horrible experiences at this car wash. The first time I went there was good but every time since had been very very bad!!!! It was a busy day and they pulled me in bumper to bumper and had the rollers coming so quick I didn't even have my truck in neutral. They brush your vehicle before they even spray it. I always get the ultimate and tip 3.00 and my rims look like crap. The tailgate is always dirty. They slam the soap brush on the window so hard it feels like they're going to crack it. They need to hire some new people that care about doing a good job. read more

Took my car to get washed and upgraded to the Ultimate wash. As I was going through there was very little soap and the "foamy rainbow" soap did not come out at all. I pulled around and one of the gentlemen that works there said they probably did not hit the right button so they would send me through for a rewash. When I got in line a different person came out a manager, and said they will not honor it because I do this all the time. True...it did happen ONE other time and there was another truck that did not get soap as well. Then the owner Cory came out and started yelling at me saying no one else had this issue and it was only me. Not my problem if people do not speak up and the reason they probably do not is because the owner Cory will come out and yell at them. There are a lot of other car wash businesses in Brighton so we will find another one that I am sure will gladly take our business. And trust me when I say this, I will tell everyone I know, whether it is in person or on social media, not to use your business!! I would not recommend this car wash for two simple reasons: One, you are not getting the car wash that you paid for and two, the owner Cory is a bully, yells at his customers and is mean. I usually wash my car myself, but due to arthritis it's getting too difficult and painful. So, I thought I'd treat my car to your most expensive wash today. I've never been to your auto wash before and I'll NEVER come back again! As I was getting the cash out of my wallet, the younger guy yelled at me to pull my car up and startled me. (Before this, they were busy spraying the car ahead of mine so I thought I had a minute to pull the cash out of my wallet ahead of time for the guy collecting the money) I showed him that I was getting money out of my wallet and he threw his hands in the air with a mean face like a guy would do when initiating a fight with another male??? This is how they treat a lady, my word. I do not appreciate being treated this way. I went up to them after my wash to let them know I didn't appreciate being treated that way and they continued with the disrespectful, unfriendly, NON-customer service centric attitude. At this point, I turned and walked away never to return again! In looking at other reviews of this business, I observed that others have had similar encounters. This is not right! I'd say more but, I fear it will just fall on deaf ears and blind eyes. (P.S. As mentioned, I paid for the best wash you offer and I didn't see any of the special lights go on for the extras you're supposed to get with said wash???) read more

Had a horrible experience at Rainbow this morning. Needed a wash so pulled in, but remembered that I had seen something hanging down under my hood so I wanted to ask if they could turn off the undercarriage wash. Never got a chance to even ask. The attendant was very, very unfriendly and rude. Didn't pull up all the way because I was leaving room to pull around if I needed. Attendant wouldn't acknowledge my waves for him to come to me instead of me pulling all the way up. Maybe 8 ft. walk to my car and he wasn't willing to do it - just kept waving me in. When he finally came to my car he said "do you want a car wash or not', tried to ask my question but didn't get a chance. He told me I was wasting his time. (One, maybe 2 cars behind me - not a lineup!) I left -- don't need to be treated like that. 6/15/20 around 10:30. read more

Guy was taking payments for several vehicles before they entered the car wash. I gave the guy my card and he put it in his pocket and continued to collect fees from cars behind me. When it was my turn to enter the car wash, I told the guys pre washing cars that I needed to get my card back before I entered. They told me I had to move forward anyways. I told them i wanted my credit card back first. At that time the guy collecting money told me that "if I had paid with cash this wouldn't be happening". Sounds like someone was skimming off the top. So my wife convinced me to just move forward without my card as to not make a big scene. I exited the car wash and got out to ask two other guys where my card was. At first one guy said he didn't know. So I told him I would wait there until I received it. He then proceeded to tell me it was on the curb, out by Grand River Ave. I asked him to get it for me and he refused. My wife got out of the car to get the credit card, and at the same time, the guy collecting money came over to me and said he was the owner and to get off his property. He grabbed his phone and starting filming me, my wife and the car. In the back ground I could hear the other employees swearing at me and my wife. Classy. All because I wanted my credit card back. Once my wife got the card and was in the car, i got in the car and left. I would actually like to hear from the real owner of this business. We have been coming to this car wash for a few years, but not any longer. The staff was so rude it was incredible. read more

Love this car wash! For a good price you not only get your car washed you also get a wet cloth to wipe the inside of your car down with. It's the only car wash I've ever been to that does this read more

i Got my truck washed about 10 today and looked at it When I got to Meier and it looked like a 5 year old washed the back end. So I returned after shopping. the place was dead. After showing them their terrible wash job they af pre-sprayed it and smacked my mirror into the folded position with the broom. After my second wash the guy dried it and I tipped another 3$ and asked him to make sure the back was clean. He returned to say honestly you need to run it through again. I said no thanks and went to self spray wash and spent another 5$ getting my truck clean. Last time ever going there. Cost 12$ for a wash and 3$ twice and 5 more finishing their job. read more

These guys do a great job! My car always looks great and they are so friendly. I like that they scrub my car before I go in the wash and they offer a towelette to wipe down the inside of my vehicle. Love the hand dry at the end too! read more

Just bought their highest wash! It looks like crap! Tried to speak to the supposed general manager about multiple spots on my car that did not get cleaned. He told me Brian just bought the car wash and if a car gets sent back through because it didn't get clean the manager would get charged at half the price! what a waste of time and money going to the Brighton Rainbow Auto WaSh! I would not recommend them at this point!!! Aweful read more

10/10 recommend going to the rainbow auto wash. Especially if a gentleman named Alec is working, he really does a nice job washing/drying the cars read more

I went to the rainbow auto wash and this blonde guy with glasses went right up to my car, without rinsing it, with a brush. I stopped him immediently and asked that they rinse my car down first before brushing (to avoid scratching duh). I asked Blake (taking my money) to tell him to please stop. Blake just said "yeah" and didn't do anything so I rolled my window down and asked him to not scratch my car. Both Blake and the blond kid seemed incompetent. Then there was no rinse off at all- they just sent me through on the conveyor - no rinse or brush. I won't be back to this location ever- teach your employees how to *half* properly wash a car. At this point you might as well rub sandpaper on my hood read more

I go to Rainbow Autowash at least once a week. I have a 2020 Mustang and I have no problem having them wash my car as I did with my last 3 new Mustangs. They dry it good after the wash, I'm very happy with them. read more

First problem...website said they open at 7 am everyday. Went there this morning at 720...closed. 2nd problem... depending who u get to dry ur car post wash, the car can look great or have droplets all over it. I watch the guys dry the car before me and it always looks pretty half hearted at best. Not sure y they're there if they're not going to try to get the car dry. The wash... is a solid Drive through wash. Not the best, but better than many. read more

I frequent this car wash and they always keep our vehicles looking good!

Awesome car wash. I've been a customer at Rainbow for over 15 years. Great service, decent prices. $1 off Wednesdays are a plus, and all cars are hand dried. Best car wash in Livingston Co. They need to bring back their full service auto detailing!!!! read more

The quality of wash has gone down in recent years. Used to be the best wash around. But after the last two time's coming out and still having dirt on my car I'm done going here after over 10 years of being my favorite wash read more

Will never go here again! Has really gone downhill in the last few years. They never get the bugs off the front of the vehicle & they don't do a very good job of drying either. Went yesterday & they didn't even get all of the bird crap off on the back passenger side. I called to complain & the Manager, Steven basically accused me of lying & offered no solution to the problem. He said I should of came back immediately. I didn't get out of my vehicle & see it until I arrived @ a relatives house which was 40 miles away. This guy does not know how to manage a business & has zero customer service skills. read more

I used to frequent this car wash. I have now stopped going completely. I have chrome wheels and they have gotten scratched due to the employees not guiding me in. I gave them a second chance and again, the employees don't have any regard for your wheels. I started going to Lee Rd Car Wash & I'm so happy. read more

Make sure that they fold your mirrors or risk them being taken off . They don't do it without asking and then you get told its not their problem when their equipment damages your car. Bottom line they don't care about your vehicle so be warned. Won't be going there again read more

This is a pretty nice car wash. The line gets a little long sometimes but if you're not in a hurry they do a great wash with expected prices. Never had anything break off my cars and the wet wipe they give me before i go in is great for freshening up my interior while i roll through. Only complaint is kind of hit and miss, they just need to change the drying towels a little more often so they don't leave streaks. All around good wash for $5-$10. read more

I've been a loyal customer for 14 yrs., however, the past two visits, I've had bad experiences. I have chrome wheels & appreciate being guided in (considering my wheels can get scratched). The gentleman waved me in without looking at my car, chatting with a coworker. I don't appreciated being yelled at, as if I don't know how to put my car in neutral. This has happened twice. My car was far from alignment with the tire track. They also had a car inches from my bumper.! I feared I would be rear ended. Time to try the Lee Rd. Car wash. read more

The rails damaged my rims. I followed the employee's guidance while entering and still gauged them really bad. Also, almost all of the bugs were still stuck to the front end of my car. So much for the guarantee that they would be removed. Please make this right, I mentioned the damage to an employee and was basically laughed at. I would advise finding another place to have your car washed if you truly care about your car. read more
