He is all about walking with you around your home to discuss any issues. I asked him how long it would be to receive the estimate, thinking it would be a many days wait. He told me that what I had was actually draining the way it was supposed to and that I really didnt need any re-configuration at all. I really appreciate honesty and integrity in a company and even though I had no actual work done, I appreciated the honest evaluation. When I do need gutter work this will be the company I contact and I certainly will pass the company name around to anyone who needs a referral. He he came out to our home in response to our request for a quote for French drain work. He was here for less than five minutes before saying "Oh I don't want to do that", apparently because the job would require the removal of some concrete. I guess you can do that if you're making plenty of money elsewhere, also struck me as lazy and unprofessional. What a waste of time. read more

When our house flooded a couple of weeks ago when OK had a ridiculous amount of rain in a short time period, we found Rain Tamer and called for someone to come out and look at our property's drainage issues. Dustin Thompson (owner) came to our house within a day of placing the call. He was not only professional, but personable. We didn't ever feel like he was trying to sell us something. He took time to listen to our concerns, look the property over, and watch videos we had recorded of the water coming down and what it did to our property, and he was quickly able to diagnose the issue and provide us with a game plan for keeping water out of our house. His ideas and creative solutions were exactly what we needed, especially since we are not the professionals when it comes to "taming" water. We appreciated his sincerity and confidence in coming up with a solution that would work for us and our budget. Within a week from calling Rain Tamer, the job was done. It was an easy decision to hire Rain Tamer to do the job. The whole experience from the time Dustin came out to when the crew finished the job was amazing. The folks that owned the house before us had a different company install a drainage system that was unfortunately poorly installed and too close to our house, likely causing the flooding situation. Rain Tamer uprooted the system and all the underground piping and redid all the underground piping and installed 11-12 drains throughout the property, as well as some gutters and some grading to our property to help redirect water. It was a pretty huge job since we seem to sit lower than the houses around us, and Rain Tamer really came through. The Rain Tamer crew was very professional and communicated well with us as well. The guys have a lot of experience installing drains and gutters, and they too were involved in the design process and making any necessary changes to the plans based on what needed to change as they learned the lay of the land. For example, in between them leaving for the day and returning the next day to finish the job, the neighbor kids next door flooded their backyard with a hose they used for a slip n slide. That water quickly made it onto our property in a way that we had never seen before - we just happened to be outside and see it happen. We were able to take video and photos and send it to Dustin, and they were able to tweak the design a little bit in order to address the issue. Water is a funny thing - you never know what it's going to do. Whenever we had questions or concerns, Dustin was apt to give us a call or respond to our emails, always signing out to let him know if we need anything. He was so patient and spent time helping us to understand the whole process. We cannot say enough about the experience. Not only did Rain Tamer get the job done, but they went OVER AND ABOVE to get the job done. They didn't just address the "fruit" issue, they addressed the "root" issue of the problem. We would be shocked if our house ever flooded again, and we're confident in the work that Rain Tamer did for us. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
