Informative and Fun Event @ Pollinators Project Rogue Valley in Phoenix, OR. !!…read more I recently participated in an event organized by this non-profit where we went on a tour of Plant Oregon in Talent, OR hosted by Mike Oxendine. It was a wonderful experience and I enjoyed getting to know more about our local resources, preservation, and revitalization. I learned about the importance of our native pollinators, natural ecosystems, and how people are involved in making our community better. This event was easy to attend because it had all the information ie. Date, time, address, and a reminder email including expectations and details at hand. It was also very affordable, with the proceeds being donated to a local cause. Thank you.

Our daughter attended this studio with her friend who's mom is a dance instructor here... she absolutely loves her dance instructor and spent months working on her dance, even putting other activities she loves on hold to dedicate her time. The day of her performance, i dropped her off with her instructor and just a few short hours later she called me crying saying that the stage manager, Kelly Osbourne was so rude and was making other kids cry by yelling at them and forcing them to stay in small rooms where the heat was unbearable. My daughter told me that the heat was getting to her and I told her to leaving the building to get fresh air but she said she was terrified that Kelly would yell at her and she just wanted me to come get her. I encouraged her to stick it out since she had worked so hard. In talking to other adults that were there, I learned that another member also needed air do to some breathing issues and when she stepped towards a door for air she was accosted by Kelly telling her to get backstage, even stomping her foot at her and saying "I said NOW".... This was told to an ADULT!!! I can not imagine just how she was treating our children if she was speaking to an adult with breathing issues like this. This was my daughters first experience with dance and I know this will be her last due to the experience she endured here. I would NOT by any means recommend this studio to ANYONE especially those with young children.

Many students come from out of state and spend real money on flights, lodging, food, and time away from work. Based on my experience, this program is NOT worth that investment. I would NOT recommend spending your time or money here. The learning environment did not feel professional or inclusive. I experienced repeated dismissive behavior from an instructor, Peter Branson, including being addressed in ways I had clearly asked him not to use. I felt singled out and criticized rather than supported as a student. When I raised these concerns with management, the response minimized the issue instead of taking it seriously. If you are LGBTQIA + or simply want a respectful, psychologically safe place to learn, this is NOT it. The instruction quality also did not justify the cost. - Much of the class time involved reading manuals independently with limited structured teaching. - Instructors frequently focused on servicing private clients' bikes rather than actively coaching students. For the tuition and certification fees being charged, I expected far more hands on training, guidance, and accountability. Overall, this felt like an expensive and disappointing experience. There are better, more welcoming, and more practical ways to learn bike mechanics. Save your travel costs and choose a program that truly values students and provides real instruction.
