I will say it was LOuD and the chlorine burned my eyeballs for the rest of the day BUT well worth it. Three kids ages 8, 5 and 2 one senior and one husband that could've passed on going. We had a great time splashing around and hitting the slides. The facility is super clean, the people working are friendly and the lifeguards were working their tails off. We'll keep this place as an option for fun on our future trips to the area

I have been involved with several high level facilities in the past including North Clackamas Aquatic Park. Rogue X is perfectly scaled and located to serve the Rogue Valley. It is a beautiful facility that provides a large pallet of activity for a large variety of user groups and still maintains the ability to grow to accommodate more users and varieties of activities. I don't know how many times kids have been throwing things around or gotten hurt with no patents in sight. Then when you actually find them, they just seem bothered that you're interrupting them while they're smoking or messing with their phones. If your kid is too young to know your phone number, they're too young to be roaming a park alone. Other than that, the park has fun equipment, lots of space, and is generally clean.

This gym is expensive and feels old. I think it's at least $99 per…read moremonth for a couple, and $125 or more for a family membership. If playing racquetball and swimming laps are important to you, then it might be worth it. They just raised their rates and I'm not able to see any upgrades. Very few spin class options. The bathrooms are very run down, especially the men's, where there is no privacy. The men's open showers are right out of a 1950's military barrack. The ventilation is bad, so the smells coming from the one toilet stall mix with the steam and fill the whole bathroom and changing area. And though it's not the gym's fault, some of the gym members have very bad hygiene standards in the bathroom. The age demographic generally skews 65+. You can potentially save hundreds of dollars per year elsewhere.

Lone Pine Park is the most underserved park in the City. It was built in 2007 and grass was…read moreplanted in the middle. A covered picnic area and a few odds and end trees were planted and left to fend for themselves. One is hanging on the ground in the middle of the park that could use most of its lower branches pruned , but after a few requests for help nothing is done. There's a walking path that is nice. I was told they have a total of 4 employees for park maintenance. The surrounding parks at Kennedy, Spring Street, and Cedar links are in pristine shape with bark mulch around the borders instead of noxious weeds. The areas around the walking path are filled with goat head thorns and dead vegetation. I asked the parks why they let this area go to weed and they said it isn't irrigated. They don't have plans to irrigate or improve this park . There's at least a half acre of unused/undeveloped field space that also is a weed patch. It says there is a playground on site but there is none. They put in a splash pad several years ago but no improvements to grassy areas that are being taken over by weeds. There is a poor tree near the pavilion that is drooping branches on the ground. Help!! City commissioners what can you do do? Take a field trip and compare how this park is cared for vs all others.

A truly wonderful staff and really, the prices are a steal for what you get. We also look forward to many of their free family events during the year including Breakfast with Santa and Movies in the Park. What a great resource for the residents of Medford!

They have really stepped up the machine maintenance! Haven't had an issue since the upgrades several months ago. The Black Card membership is worth it for the red light therapy and the hydromassage alone. Customer service is mostly good, BUT I really don't want to walk into a gym and see anyone wearing Meta glasses, let alone the front desk staff. Is it too new for a policy to be implemented? It's really uncomfortable seeing that in a gym environment. Overall, still a big fan of this specific location :)
