They proved themselves to be the most professional and friendly service when I actually went to get the jabs - the doctor went through my medical history and took me through the vaccinations he would recommend for me- which (surprise surprise) did not turn out to be the most expensive or rare- so he wasn't just in it for the revenue. The nurse who administered the injections was lovely- giving me a lollipop to slurp on while getting jabbed (she offered me a follow up one as well, but I wasn't greedy.) Yes, they warned me about the dead arm I'm feeling now - it's all part of the vaccination, so no nasty surprises. I'd rather the discomfort now than a deadly disease! The location is brilliant - right next to the LUAS stop on Dawson Street. The only negative thing I can say about the whole experience is the two story climb to the clinic (no lift) and the further flight up to meet with the doctor- if you have mobility issues, this may be a problem for you. But other than that, five stars

He works monday to friday from 10.30am-1pm and 5-7pm and then he works on a saturday by appointment. I have been to many doctors in my life and he is the first that i am happy to stick with. He genuinely cares about his patients and is always willing to listen and take whatever action is needed. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone. He does home visits on request as well. I would highly recommend it. The only drawback is that they don't have any of the modalities like Ultrasound or Shockwave therapy that you find in bigger clinics. The great thing is that Hanover Medical is open late until 7pm mon-thurs, which is really convenient as I tend to finish college late and most practices close at 5 or 5:30 while most people work until 5. Appointments are not too hard to get, usually you can get one a day or two ahead but same-day appointments depends in the day. The clinic is really clean and modern and the receptionists are quick to reply to appointments. I emailed the night before and got a reply the following morning for a morning 10:30 appointment. I saw Dr. Sheila Byrne who was very nice and thorough with the consultation. I only waited 15 mins for my appointment which is ok compared to my previous gp where I'd usually wait 1 hour. The only drawback is price, where anything extra costs. The GP fee range is €60-120, in that there is a charge for extended consultation in addition to the standard fee of €60, so no chit-chat here. Bloods are done by the nurse and not the doctor, so a separate appointment is needed but they are open early from 8am which is convenient for fasting bloods. The pill renewal is only €30 with the nurse which is great and very quick as I don't think many other practices have that.

I love doctor Rogers, she is like the sweetest and the softest doctor ever, she really makes me feel that she cares. I kinda feel like coming back there just for her. But the fact that they don't send the blood test results over email, and you have to come pick them up in person, is like SO OLDSCHOOL. More than that, at first they refused to give me my results unless I have another appointment with the doctor. Then they changed their mind and I got my results, but the impression of the clinic was ruined already. So, I give three stars for that.

Went here for the first time earlier, and was greeted with the friendliest GP I've ever come across. She sat down beside me and just listened, then chatted with me as if she were a friend, offered solid advice and many options to suit me, and was even eager to save me money on a few things. Besides this, when I arrived in the centre, I had to wait a max of 3-4 minutes before being seen. The place is smack bang in the middle of Smithfield, so really easy access-wise, and it's pretty brand new, so nice and bright, airy and clean looking. Overall, my visit gave me full confidence in their abilities, something I'd very rarely say about any visit to a GP centre!

The dentist did not look like she had any experience in working with children, she wasn't able to interact with the child, there were no toy provided for distraction or for getting his attention , she wasn't creative at all, for her was very difficult just to change her sitting angle. With the help from parents she was able to see child's teeth ( for 2 sec) and she was very quick to charge us for this. But for cleaning procedure (that was the actual reason for coming) she did not want help from parents she just refused to do it. She is quick to charge but slow in her work. If she does not want to perform her work with the help of parents why does she charge for work which she was able to do only because of the help provided. The dentist is not professional . Misleading info on the website should be changed .

When she did find one she lost it and then explained she didn't know if she had finally found one. The surgeon would know when they tried to sedate me. 5 hours after arriving I got to theatre. No apologies nothing and a mouth piece put in. I'm fasting no food or water and sedative is administered. Felt nothing and tried to let the surgeon know but the nurse pushed my head down told me not to move or try speaking.... In recovery and removed everything myself bar the cannula. No one came near me. They almost forgot to take bloods again before I left. Private hospital????
