11/14/23 This is an…read moreupdate sent to me by my husband following up our initial review from 11/7/23. Do not give this man or his practice your business. ~ Two weeks ago, my wife and I trusted Dr.Fien with some basically medical tests that I need for my visa. While our first appointment (10/31/23) was normal, our second was traumatic and absolutely insane, resulting in the cops being called to the parking lot/plaza where the office is located. In this second visit (11/7/23), my wife had a panic attack in her car, outside of Dr.Fien's office (and outside of the entire building and away from any of the offices in it). We let the receptionists know we'd wait downstairs and to give us a call, as they were late for my appointment anyway. During her episode, supposedly, a witness felt the need to be a savior and called the cops, reporting a dispute between the two of us. -- Firstly, that wasn't the case (it was an individual mental health crisis as stated before) and we quickly resolved all of the misconstrued facts with the cops ourselves. -- Secondly, Dr.Fien himself showed up to the scene, outside in the public parking lot, as the cops were wrapping up their paperwork... How would Dr.Fein know of this even happening if he's so busy with clients and my wife had her moment outside the entire building anyway? Clearly, someone in his office watched us leave and from the window...? Maybe the same women who brought her coughing children into the office (without masks, objectively speaking, gross, especially around my pregnant wife; the receptionist even came out to check their condition...) who was called before me, but there were no other patients to see us even in the office just normally waiting there before my wife even felt bad and excused herself... If Dr.Fien was so afraid of our personal matters reflecting poorly upon his practice, maybe he shouldn't have showed up at the scene where he was never even involved to begin with. He was the only one making his connection to us public.... Something still doesn't add up, but it's not worth wasting anymore time to consider. We attempted to apologize, despite this being nobodies specific "fault", and begged for me to be able to grab my results, by myself. The office continued to stir the pot and it wasn't worth trying to reason with unreasonable people any longer, so we left. The next morning, the office woke me and my wife up to pick up my results and receive some additional shots, banning my pregnant wife (who has been financially responsible for all of these medical costs) from sitting even in the waiting room. Absurd, but it was actually my wife who encouraged me to get it done and over with. We decided to get my remaining shots elsewhere and then we drove back to Dr.Fien's office. My pregnant wife waiting outside in case she was needed for payment, for an entire hour while I waited in an empty waiting room... Again, absurd. After more than 40 minutes in this vacant waiting room, the doctor called me in, had me sit in his office while he finished other paperwork and then he gave me my results. -- Certainly worth noting, Dr.Fien made commentary about whoever at Rite-Aid gave me my shots, labeling them as incompetent, saying something along the lines of them being "unable to do their job". Entirely unnecessary and the complete irony, coming from a human lacking any empathy and understanding, reeking of judgments during appointments... Dr.Fien is a comedian, he is not qualified to have any medical certifications. I then left the doctors office, asked the receptionists if there were any other loose ends to tie up (any outstanding dues pertaining to the medical requirements for my visa) but was told everything was payed for. I left with my sealed forms. Today (11/14/23) I received an additional bill from Dr.Fien. Never did the receptionists or the doctor himself disclose that I'd be receiving another bill (for bloodwork). The office only ever communicated to me that my wife and I were responsible for what we payed in person (payed our first visit) and for the additional shots that I required (again, we went elsewhere for these). Disclosing payments is not only a part of your job, but professionally and legally to withhold this information is yet again, absurd. The amount of paranoia and trauma we have experienced due to trusting Dr.Fein with basic medical testing is profoundly unjust, in addition to the unannounced bill we just received. His entire practice is incredible, in the worst of ways, in the sense that how it could possibly still exist when he and his entire office are superiorly incompetent. I realize healthcare in America is a sensitive subject but if Dr.Fien's practice is any bit representative of the rest of the medical world here... I'll be sure to stay perfectly healthy. Do not give this man or his practice your trust, time, or money. Respectfully, good riddance.
