They really did a great job for us all that time.... until we fostered and adopted an elderly (13yr old) dog from McKamey. We spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on lab tests to confirm what McKamey already had diagnosed was in the records .... Dog had an ear infection. RedBank could not figure out how to treat it, so they recommended a specialist for treatment (shocker another VCA business). They wanted to remove the ear canal of a 13 year old dog for $5K! The known side effects are defenses or death!! It seemed like a lot to put an old dog through. For some reason RedBank wanted to cash in on this poor ole buddy instead of helping him. Red Bank has SOLD OUT!!!!!! Yepp VCA owns them now, that explains all the nickel and dime redundant tests and services they push and charge you for for without approval. The once caring owner cashed out (good for him). Only wish he would have made an announcement and told all his customers and patients that billable services now come first. I went for a second opinion at Lighthouse Veterinary Allergy & Dermatology. They prescribed and mixed an ear drop that fixed it without surgery!!!) He was given a poor prognosis after being seen twice by an emergency vet in Chattanooga due to suspected parvo with low blood counts. They recommended euthanasia. As his labs were so varied and I felt uncomfortable with the rapid and vague assessment, I took him home and booked an eval with scenic city for possible comfort measures vs euthanasia. Raven perked up and the vets made a treatment plan for us at home including medications and fluids. They worked with me (a medical professional) to provide home care with their guidance. After a month he is now thriving! He has put on weight, and is playing and acting like a normal cat! If something doesn't feel right I recommend a second opinion and would completely trust this team of professionals through their mobile service and at their clinic in Soddy Daisy (Sequoyah Animal Hospital). They listen and work with you... they provide fair prices and they are kind. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you did for Raven!

However, trying to schedule the visit was horrible. The office help was not helpful. The scheduler would not make a clear appt not even morning or afternoon and just kept texting that the schedule had not been set. I already knew they were coming on a farm call within 5 miles of us because it was a friend and their appt was set already. They charged us the total mileage from their office even though they were already that close so we paid over $100.00 just for their 45 min. drive when they were already just down the road ."Trip Fee 6/21/2024 (1) $65.00 + Extended Trip, $3/minute after 30 minutes (17) $51.00. Then they didn't have the eye ointment on board that we needed so they had to mail it. We paid $10.00 and were told it should be to us by Monday since this was a Fri. They never mailed it until the following Thursday so we waited a week to get it. When I called to let them know I was told there was nothing they could do about it.

Went back a month ago and was extremely unhappy. Whatever was sprayed on my dog after bathing and grooming made her smell absolutely amazing but a day later she had the worst skin flakes from it. She had never had that before. I had to give her a bath again to get rid of it and the irritation and inflammation it was causing my pup. I had asked for a nail trim and I had to do it again when we got home. Also, it costs additional if you want a bow for a female dog, but it's free to get an ugly bandana. I have completely changed my mind about this place. I still give 2 stars since the haircut was wonderful. Beware of that allergy-creating perfume, and also a 24-hr cancellation fee that is not posted. My husband had to call and cancel last minute since he had to work and the woman who answered stated we would be charged a cancellation fee that we were never made aware of and even though this was not in our control. They stated we now made them one client short for the day. I guess we are treated like numbers. Not a very professional place. I will take my dogs to either PetsMart from now on or the Animal Hospital on Signal Mountain.
