Each effort top notch. Owner Nels has a couple of decades of experience in this field. Both he and his colleague April are artists and so they see detail and nuances to be able to make excellent framing recommendations. No project is to too big or small nor too complicated or too simple. The shop itself is well lit with two big work tables to lay out the art work and frame options and they have a boat load of choices for frames, mats and filets. The interior designer working on our home introduced us to this store and we are so happy to have found it and to know Nels and April for their expertise. Were you in need of art restoration, these would be the folks to know, for example. And for any framing need you will find none better than Picture This! THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: On street in neighborhood and also small lot in back. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Level in the building and level in the door of the store. Ample access aisle space. 3) NEIGHBORS: Flying M is right across the hall in the building and Guido's and High Note are next door.

Our interior designer stepped in, when I found myself completely 'out of gas' after selecting the prints for her to source, to recommend Finer Frames to do the work because she knew they did great work and with good turnaround times too. Right on all counts! We have a lot of custom framed art in our home, collected by working with framing galleries over the last 40 years as we moved around, and so I very much appreciated that the gallery owner, Meg, who was also the framer for our prints approached it with the eye of an artist, which she also is. Her frame stock recommendation resulted in the perfect choice. The work was expertly done and the turnaround time was excellent too. We have used a couple of other framing galleries in the area over the last seven years, we have been happy with both businesses for their strengths but also knowing their weaknesses we chose one or the other depending on the project. But Finer Frames will now be our one and only choice going forward for any project. VIBE: If you're like my husband and me who love both galleries and looking at framing materials, this will be a veritable candy land of options to consider. Also, the vibe inside was all "chillax" with jazz on the sound system and ample space in between items to look about. I said, and I'm not kidding, that depending on time of day I'd like to linger with cup of coffee or glass of wine in hand and soak it all in for an extended time. LOCATION: Downtown Eagle located and while parking there can be difficult, Finer has the advantage of their own small parking lot. ACCESSIBILITY: One ADA parking (van access compliant) spot right outside the side entry door which is level into the all one one floor space with ample room to maneuver. As a customer with multiple sclerosis, which I've had since college years, I notice when a business does a good job of making it accessible like this. PS: The happy PS to the art being framed is that the man who Meg and our designer both recommended to hang it did a top notch job too. See review for Precision Artwork Installation (owner Russ Linn).

Antique Child Doll Restoration - Immaculate work done on my doll's legs which matches the rest of him perfectly!

Overall reviews for the owner were good. A request was put in for my mothers' compositions doll to have the head fixed, body cleaned or replicated, new mohair wig, socks and shoes. The other doll to be sent was my Shirley Temple doll. She was to have complete composition restoration, eyes fixed (they were crystalized), hair cleaned and set, I purchased the onesie, the sailor outfit, and pin. During the process of the owner getting the dolls and creating the bid she was pleasant, and I was confidant that the dolls were in good hands. I paid a deposit of $300 for the two dolls. Problems started when she said the dolls were done and she sent the request for the money. I paid the remainder, an additional $362 (total $662). She then said she couldn't send the dolls as there was a problem with Shirley's eyes and she had to fix before sending, I was ok with this and appreciated her honesty. When the dolls shipped, they were shipped to the wrong address, an old address that I didn't realize was on Paypal still. I was confused as I thought she was going to use the address off the bid, she never stated otherwise, hence, I never thought to check. The dolls headed to Virginia and I live in Arizona, so started the process of trying to intercept the dolls. I wasn't mad over this, but I was deeply annoyed by her lack of concern or care over the matter, she stated that "It will probably come back here eventually". When she sent pictures of dolls that I had requested before they shipped, I had some concerns about the dolls. The wig on moms' doll didn't look right (I had wanted long hair but didn't state that so that's on me) but it looked strange, two short and color wasn't right. The body on moms' doll, which the owner stated needed to be replaced, was all wrong, the sizing was wrong, and it didn't look right. Shirley's hair was all wrong, but I thought well I can always replace it if it's to bad. The owner became super upset and took this as a personal attack and started saying, I did everything to the bid! I stated that I wasn't happy and what could be done to fix this, she responds that I needed to act like and adult and stop crying. At NO time is ok to talk to a customer like this. The dolls finally got here. Shirley is missing a toe (I don't understand how this happened), there is scuffs on her new paint, her eyes don't sit right and don't look right, her sailor outfit wasn't shipped. My mothers' doll was done very poorly, the body is all wrong, she returned the old body in pieces, not sure way it's so ripped up, the head seem crack was poorly filled and fixed, a thin coat of paint had been put on her, which is already chipping. The wig looks like it was made to fit a much smaller doll and wasn't the right color, the shoes are very small and don't fit right (I paid extra for these so this is disappointing). I don't know if the damage she did to this doll can be fixed or not and I fear how much it will cost me to fix. The owner stated that they would refund the amount of the doll dress. I'm so disappointed with this and would not personally recommend Antique Child Doll Restoration.

I was conveniently in the area today all by myself so I made it a point to check out this charming store! As soon as I parked my car, I knew I was going to fall in love with this store. Everything set up on the front porch was completely stunning. Everything was strategically placed and thoughtfully decorated. It was hard not to buy all the outside pieces cause of how beautiful everything was staged. I need to front of my house to look like this front porch. This store is just stunning. Country chic decor is the way to my heart. The flowers. Aged furniture. The flowers. The small details and delicate placement of everything. It was all breathtaking. You truly have to walk slow throughout the store so you don't miss anything. I found a couple brass candleholders that caught my eye. They were so pretty but a tad bigger than I would have liked. The sweet associate guided me back to an area in the back that I had already checked out. Of course I didn't walk slow enough cause I missed the most perfect set of brass candleholders. I also found the daintiest glass candleholder that was a glass bird. I found some smaller candles that would be the perfect addition to the candleholders. I was excited to add these beautiful pieces to my home. Besides the candles, I also found a gorgeous print that I'm going to place on my living room wall that I'm redecorating. It's been fun curating all these beautiful pieces and it was great that I found one here. I look forward to finding the perfect frame for this picture. The gals that were working today were all kind! Stores like Sweet Tea Living could be a hit or miss with customer service. I have been ignored at some local joints in town. It's sad to be treated like that when you're trying to support a local business. Sweet Tea Living is complete perfection from their customer service, the venue and all their fabulous goodies. I felt so welcomed here. I'm so happy I finally got to make my way in! I look forward to coming back soon to find more beautiful treasures here.
