Our interior designer stepped in, when I found myself completely 'out of gas' after selecting the prints for her to source, to recommend Finer Frames to do the work because she knew they did great work and with good turnaround times too. Right on all counts! We have a lot of custom framed art in our home, collected by working with framing galleries over the last 40 years as we moved around, and so I very much appreciated that the gallery owner, Meg, who was also the framer for our prints approached it with the eye of an artist, which she also is. Her frame stock recommendation resulted in the perfect choice. The work was expertly done and the turnaround time was excellent too. We have used a couple of other framing galleries in the area over the last seven years, we have been happy with both businesses for their strengths but also knowing their weaknesses we chose one or the other depending on the project. I went back a few days later to exchange it for the right color but was told that since the sale was over, I would have to pay full price for the right one. What!? I understand the sale was over but I wasn't trying to get additional items at the sale price, I just wanted an even exchange. There's absolutely no loss on their side whatsoever. It just seems to me that a smaller chain would be more reasonable and want to keep their customers.
