I had requested No Mushrooms, Paneer, Tofu, Soya (as these do not constitute a proper Hyderabadi Veg Biryani. Salan Gravy was given which was mildly spicy. Raita was given in a small cup & very bland, poorly made & a total flop! Raita's served with Biryani's have onions, tomatoes cucumber pieces & plenty of green cut chillies to give a strong spicy taste. But it seems Raita's made in Vancouver are catered for the N.Indian customers who can't handle any spice except their mediocre stereotyped " garam masala" with the result the raita's are bland, tasteless & some may have a bit of mint powder as seasoning. No Papad also was given. (Usually a salient feature of Biryani's). Due to these omissions & bland tasteless accompaniments, the average quality & taste of the food falls low in Standard! I trust the Owners take note of above & make Spicy Raitas & serve them in large portions & further offer papads to enhance the taste & experience in future.
