Most disorganized doctors office ever. The front desk never knew WHEN the office will be open or not. Everytime I called they gave me different answers. I tried to take my kid here to get flu shot. 3 times, 3 times office was closed during their" normal office hours". One time finally opened but was packed with people coughing and sneezing and no one wearing masks. I'M DONE. Unless you have time to play hide and seek with this office I suggest you find someone else. read more

The thing that bothers me about this Dr. is he's always in a rush to quickly assist another patient. Her doesn't explain throughly and just hand a paper and tell me follow the instructions. For a first time mom I would like to know details to how to go about things for baby needs. Also he give vaccines and doesn't ask my permission to do shot or even explain me the reason for the shot.I noticed that this office doesn't allow to come In with a stroller and makes me carry my child to his room with the car seat. I have left his practice and found a better practice that is more better and can walk me through with my child's needs and not in a rush and also allows me to bring in my stroller to their office. read more

We have been going to Dr. Khaimov for many years. Dr. Khaimov is an excellent doctor, very knowledgeable, professional, and caring. He always makes my children feel at ease and comfortable during their appointments. His office is very clean and the staff is very courteous. Highly recommend! read more

Dr.Khaimov is awesome and so caring for the children . It's the two lady's at the front desk that have no idea what they're doing & are super rude . They don't follow guidelines or do their job correctly . The girl spelled my child's name when It was literally right on the computer in front of her & it was important documents for social security . She gives an issue whenever u ask for any documents when it's her job and no other pediatrics give issues for the things that she does . read more

I recently had a newborn and was very nervous if who to have as a pediatrician for my baby and I'm so glad that I found dr elenora Khaimov. She is not far from forest hills hospital where I have birth and I could not have ask for a more knowledgeable kind and down to earth doctor. You won't regret taking your child to her. Waiting time so far has been in and out yet of course it's flu season so there was one time where we had to wait about 30 min but for the most part u don't stay there long and the nurses are sweet and kind. read more

I am a PA student that had the pleasure of rotating between the 99th St and Yellowstone office for the past five weeks. The level of care that Dr. Khaimov and Dr. Ella provide is far above the standard I have experienced at other rotations. I am very lucky to have been able to learn from the knowledgeable doctors here. When I have children I would not hesitate to bring them to Khaimov pediatrics. They are honest with their patients and make themselves more available for questions/concerns than any practitioner I have yet to encounter. Thank you Dr. Ella and Dr. Khaimov for such a rewarding experience! read more

Dr Rafik is a great doctor that does what he can for the children. He always try to make himself available at any time of the day for advice, sadly it doesn't run in the family. He's daughter which is the MD at the 99th street office refused to see my 5 month old 15 minutes till closing, mind you he was having a serious allergic reaction that caused hives from head to toe even on his eyelids, she simply told me that she will be closing and that I should take him to the ER. Poor patient care especially when it comes to infants. Receptionist does not have much knowledge of their work and also very rude read more

Cold-hearted asshole. RUN AWAY from this butcher. I came for a first visit and was asked to leave because I didn't have $20 in cash on me for a co-pay. The office does not accept credit cards either. When I asked to make a note on the folder for my kids that I will ower $20 and bring next time - I was told by his secretary "NO". NO CO-PAY - NOT SEEING THE DOCTOR. I was asked to leave and never seen a doctor!!!!! I could not believe the so-called doctor that worries about $20 instead of child's health. DO NOT GO IN THERE. MY neighbor told me she saw roaches once on the blood test collecting boxes. Scary!!!! read more

Our child got sick from starting daycare. Initially they prescribed antibiotics and nebulizer, the latter of which was not effective as the child cannot sit still. but they said "it's ok, the insurance pays for this"... After one week of antibiotics, the doc suggested that we put him on steroids to cure the cough! Steroids for a 1 year old! I'm not sure where these goof balls got their medical training! We got 2 second opinions, both of which suggested wait and see would be ok. And guess what my child improved after another week! And everytime we go back, they say come back in 3-4 days. Well it's that just a simple way to make sure you have continued revenue! Now that our phone numbers are on their system, they would not stop calling us for reminders of this and that, AFTER I told them to stop as we have changed to another doctor. And guess what they told me, "it's a machine we cannot do nothing about it." That's just absurd and plain disregard for patient experience and confidentiality. Save yourself and your child the trouble and substandard care, GO ELSEWHERE. read more

If you have a privat insurance please review your claims after you pay a visit to this doctor. He is known to bill incorrectely just so he collects payments from the insurance. read more

Always in a rush, been with this doctor for a year now as he was the doctor they recommended at NYPQ when my baby was born. Like other reviewers say yes he doesn't push vaccines because he likes people to come in every month and charges you every month for a vaccine that should be given all together. Nurses never write the vaccines on the yellow booklet, whenever i have a question he says he'll explain later but runs out of the room within 2min thats all he spends with my baby. Also, the lack of respect from the front of the office is disgusting. Today was the last straw, I've always paid with a credit card and today all of a sudden they weren't aware they accepted cards and refused to see my baby if i didn't come up with $30 cash. Its 2020 who the hell handles cash anymore and atleast give alternatives as they didn't even bother to tell me but oh yes the 179900876 times they call you to remind you of an appointment is ok. They could've billed me after instead they refused service and i left with a sick vaccinless child. Save your wallet and your child from these rude money hungry people, the least they care about is your child's well being! read more

He hung up on me!!!! Unbelievable! He withheld information from me about my child without cause. After explaining and requesting more information he got bitter and short with me. I do not trust him. Way too pretentious. read more

Dr.Rafik Khaimov is a very nice person I love this doctor. Everyday he greets me like I'm his son. Every time after he treats kids with lollipops. I had fevers before he treated me with medication and he told me you will be cured in 5 Days that really happened. I come to Dr. Rafik Khaimov for over 7 years now the first day I came to him when it was March of 2010. His workers are very friendly and good customer experience and the services they provide the office is also very nice. He also every time he asks which pharmacy I always pick Neighborhood Rx Pharmacy Because they deliver and it's very fresh. read more

I LOVE this office, the receptionists are extremely helpful and nice. The nurses are excellent with my 16 m/o daughter, and my 5 y/o brother. We've been coming to this office for 5 years and I've never had a complaint. Dr.Khaimov is extremely caring and he KNOWS what hes doing. When I bring my daughter or brother here the nurses greet them by their name and they're extremely loving, they make the experience enjoyable for both of them and they've never been scared of coming into the office (even for vaccines). When sick, Dr.Khaimov is NEVER wrong with his diagnosis and i never have to come back a second time for the same thing. For vaccines, my daughter has NEVER cried. He is very delicate and never even leaves my daughter with pain. For blood work, the nurses are great and friendly. They will distract my daughter and brother so they'll forget blood is being drawn. I LOVE this office. Amazing pediatrician & staff, I recommend! read more

The worst experience ever !! The nurses have no idea what they're doing, they never tell me what is wrong with my child all they do is blood work, and all the regular. Where's the prescription? I don't even know what's wrong with my child because they always make him do blood work. He has a fever, hasn't ate normally in the past few days, and still asking for a blood work? I visited many different doctors and not once did I have to constantly give my child's bloodwork every visit to find out what is wrong . I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL I AM ABSOLUTELY furious!! I came here a few times thinking it was just a bad day, nope it's just a terrible office !!!! read more

At our first visit I was beyond pleased with our appt. We saw Rafik that time . We had just moved to Queens from Montana. Short wait time , friendly staff . Plus we knew our son needed a set of shots. But every visit since has been a nightmare. We get phone calls weekly saying our son is behind on vaccines but he's not . They have yet to put his vaccines in their system. We have seen two different doctors showing them his records each time to prove he's ok. My son was walking at 10 months and was walking in front of the dr and she didn't even notice because she was not looking at us only the computer while asking questions . Since we are new to the area we didn't know why hemoglobin was tested at 11 months here so we asked . The dr's answer was " we just do". And to top off our last visit they informed us that our previous state gives a vaccine at four months when NY does it a six . So she gave him a vaccine he already had. Come to find out it was completely unnecessary. I blame myself for taking my son there the last two times because I honestly haven't seen any reviews for a pediatrician I think is any better . read more

Best doctor you can ever ask for.Really cares about his patients, friendly with kids

I am a father of two kids: 21 y.o. boy and 13 y. o . girl. First of all it's very convenient that office of Dr. Khaimov provided both gender doctors. It's more comforting to visit female doctor with my girl, than to male doctor. It appears that office have four doctors same time which is surprisingly good because you can get a cross opinion from another doctor right away. All doctors are very well trained and experienced, very confident and I should say that we are blessed that we find pediatric office of doctor Dr. Khaimov. All medical staff is professional and polite, they knows exactly what needs to be done and how to accomplish it meaning how to make patients happy. They really do provide outstanding service. I want to add that Dr. Khaimov is very thorough and will give you answers. He makes sure you leave there content. Highly recommend him! On same note I read a few reviews of some patiens.... It's so sorrow, I have a message for unhappy parents - Dear Parents, if you weren't happy for whatever reason in Dr. Khaimov office maybe you shouldn't be there, common people, you providing ridiculous reasons such as , why I have to pay co-payment? Or why we were waiting for half an hour or forty minutes? Or my baby keep crying after flu shot, especially dumb complains such as "nurses and doctors don't know what they are doing". I have a question to this parent - how you can judge knowledge of doctor? You gays are spoiled. Dr. Khaimov is amazing doctor, he is doctor by God's touch and his colleagues as well. And his entire team of nurses and medical assistants and front desk workers deserves the highly mark recognition. read more
