I rarely write reviews, but the complete lack of communication and professionalism from Rafi Law Group has left me no choice. My case was settled over 2 months ago, and I have now followed up three times requesting copies of my claim documentation--still nothing. Every time I call, I get the same runaround: my attorney Mr. Sickle is "unavailable" and the accountant Rosa is "busy." That's it. No updates. No follow-through. Just empty promises and deflection. To make matters worse, I finally received a settlement breakdown and was shocked to see that their attorney fee jumped from the originally agreed-upon 33% to 35% without any explanation. Even more concerning, there's a mysterious "advance" listed for $532--money I never received or was even told about. And let's not forget: I'm still waiting on my final check, which they claim is being held up due to "health insurance liens." No clear answers. No communication. No accountability. The entire experience has been beyond frustrating. For a firm that has no problem collecting their inflated fee, they sure seem to have a problem responding to clients or providing basic transparency. Do yourself a favor and go with a firm that actually values communication, integrity, and client service--because this was nothing but a disappointment. I've left voicemails for their "client advocacy " and 0 response- I've reached out via LinkedIn to Brandon Rafi and No response. I wish I would have listened to all other reviews on here- LESSON LEARNED ! If you had asked me five years ago how I felt about Rafi Law, I would've said that Rafi and his team were kind, compassionate, and truly cared about their clients. Unfortunately, the quality of this law firm has significantly declined. It now feels as though clients are seen more as numbers than individuals--with the focus seemingly more on funding citywide advertising than on providing personal, attentive service. From the start of my treatment, I clearly requested that my personal health insurance be used instead of a lien through the at-fault party's auto insurance. Despite this, the firm continued to use the lien without my consent to cover chiropractic care, even though I had valid health coverage. As a result, when it came time to settle and reimburse providers, those costs came directly out of my pocket--something that could have been avoided had my request been respected. On top of that, the 35% contingency fee they charge is steep, especially given the lack of responsiveness. It's incredibly difficult to reach your attorney. While the staff is polite, communication is painfully slow. When my settlement check was finally ready, I had to personally follow up multiple times with their accountant, Alejandra, just to get a response. When I asked why no one called to inform me my check was ready, all I received was an apology--one of many I've heard throughout this process. If you're considering Rafi Law, I strongly urge you to explore other options. A smaller firm with better communication and more client-focused service would have made a world of difference. Rafi So i usually don't like to leave reviews but i wish i knew what i was going to get myself into when signing for the Rafi Law group to defend me. i hope it helps shed light to show how fake and unhelpful the whole group is. i know getting any defense attorney the whole process is long but they never communicate how everything is going or what all they are doing. if u want to talk to your attorney for get about it because it will take months to get a reply or u might not hear back at all. the only people that are kind is the receptionist. every receptionist that had answered phone was patient and kind and would do the best they could to get me an answer. other than that everyone else seemed like was never working. No matter how many times I would ask I would never have a point of contact. And after two years of not being able to know what is going on i had to sign to for them to pass the job to another attorney that was 10x more helpful and accessible. My attorney that would never get back to me was Afshin Afsharimehr. i tried emailing and calling many times and will never get back to u. Honestly i think Rafi has to put a lot of ads out because their customer service is so bad that word of mouth would not work for them. there are many other injury attorney that will actually do their job vs this firm that just sits back and waits for a check. read more

I worked with Afshin for a second time. Unfortunately I was in another car accident. I knew right away I would hire Rafi Law Group and ask for Afshin to be my lawyer. He did an amazing job he would keep me updated on any updates he had. the paralegals were also on top of all the medical bills. They would call just to see how I was feeling and how was physical therapy. Insurance didn't want to payout but he negotiated and we got exactly what we wanted. I went to rafi law after getting into a car accident back in feb 2025. I just left me home and a van made a left turn into my truck cause damage. At first the guy said he would pay for all damages but when i went to the auto shop the cost was alot. i text the guy and informed him of the cost he them started saying he never hit me he aint paying nothing. Hired Rafi as I was a victim of a hit and run. Wil never recommend to anyone there's a reason this office has these reviews. This law firm is nothing more than a settlement farm. Was told I would not be responsible for MRI and now I'm getting bill collectors calling me about them. I explained the law firm would take care of them as I was told and what a surprise to me MRI people said the law firm will not be taking care of them. I've attempted for months to get in contact with them to see what the miscommunication was and why they wouldn't be taking care of the MRI and no one has reached back out.
