What you should know: if you have a fireplace or plan to have one installed, or if you enjoy outdoor fireside evenings around the fire pit, you should contact Dan at the Bearded Cordsman. He will consult with you about what kind of wood would be the most effective for your situation. For example, I have a one year-old wood-burning fireplace insert which can only take wood of certain lengths. Every time DAN delivers to me, he is cognizant of that. I have enjoyed my fires so much this year. In addition to them being heat efficient, they are a pleasure with the beautiful wood that Dan has provided to me. His pricing is fair. His service is impeccable. You want to do business with with him. He is so kind and nice.

He gave me what I thought was a fair price to remove the tree, then also removed the stump, as well as an additional stump from a tree removed by the previous owner. He was professional, showed up as promised, and left my yard clean, with no sign there was ever a tree there. Fast forward 3 months and I had to call him again when a large Ash fell on the back of my house, destroying the deck and doing damage to my Sunroom and roof. I am very grateful for Sweet Tree for responding quickly and getting that tree off my house, cut up and hauled away for a fair price. He took photos for me to share with the adjuster, left everything very tidy, and also cut 4 stumps for me to sit on around my future fire pit, in addition to stacking up a manageable supply of wood to burn. Kevin made a somewhat stressful event much easier for me. I highly recommend Sweet Tree.

They bragged about having a perfect Yelp rating. There was only one review on Yelp before this one…read more That's kind of funny. Their product may be good, but don't bother asking them about any details; like "what are you calling a cord?" ( some people will sell you less than a cord, which by the way, is 4' x 4' x 8') or " what species of wood will I be getting?" (some people will sell you inferior species.) I asked these two questions and the respondent (via text) imediately got miffed and acted like they were far too busy to deal with any one who would dare to ask. They immediately cut off my order because I had the audacity. As I said, they may have a good product (or not), but they sure weren't interested in confirming that by answering the two simple questions. The person I was texting with was rude and dismissive. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Oops, there goes that perfect Yelp rating.
